4:15 LOL Sean, that is a capybara I guess? I don't know if capybaras hold cultural importance in Izu or heck even Shizuoka prefecture, funny to see a capybara in Japan! By the way fun video!
Thanks. Ha ha. I actually thought capybara originally and they are found in zoos and aquariums in Japan but I didn’t think they had any connection to oysters. But I think you may be right.
I loved the friendliness of the people at the end. And also, the houses are so cheap! Amazing how this is possible in such a developed country. Do you know what happened? Was it poor government planning, or is it just the aging of the population that had more extreme effects than anticipated?
Thanks. Yes they are lovely people. It’s partly aging population but also the way Japan set up its zoning means that there is no shortage of accommodation so no housing crisis but also because no one wants houses over 35 years old. They prefer new.
Awesome!
Love the video..especially the teamwork towards the end! Good luck on your journey..i love Kamakura too!
Thanks Jen. Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for watching Andy
Great video Sean 🙏

@@seanmcbride3899 Forgot that it had an oyster on its head LOL, no idea if capybaras ever even see oysters in their lifetime!

21:21 Well, that guy is not going to get a good resale value soon, since he bunged up his car by going into a "forbidden alleyway"!
Yes it was a bit of a mess but old second hand cars are pretty cheap anyway so he’d get nothing for it 😊
@ Yeah, just saw a video of a guy getting a well maintained kei car for just 27 man yen
Great video but could you slow down the panning. It made me dizzy😅
Yes I will. Someone else mentioned that as well. Thanks
Wow, I had to stop in the middle. One request, can you slow down the camera movement? I am getting vertigo from the fast panning and the quick cuts.
Sorry about that. I did think maybe it was too fast. I’ll remember to slow it down for the next one. Thanks
