This was beautiful. I haven't gotten myself to watch the end of last season and this season yet since I already know what happened and it kinda killed me, but I absolutely love these two and I'm so glad they're sort of on track to be back to being better than ever (hopefully). This was just flawless. So emotionally raw and just amazing. Wonderful job!

When I think about those two and how each must think of eachother. From Fitz'es perspective he can never had a shot with her even before his brain damage. He may have won her over but as he is now seeing her everyday, knowing that he will never be as good of a man enough for her while still being madly in love with her can break anyone's heart. I'm surprised he hasn't left SHIELD. I secretly hope the lost city of the inhumane has something that can cure him and reverse the brain damage. On the side of Simmons perspective, to see Fitz and know that he would have given up his life for her and to not be able to return the love he has for her must also be heartbreaking to see him daily.
Poor Fitz.. The friendzone is real.

Am I the only one who noticed that she said that she´d never THOUGHT of Fitz as anything but her best friend? She didn't say that she didn't think of him in that way. That gives me at least a bit of hope.

She does there's just stuff that's happened in the way and she doesn't quite realize it yet cus as she said she didn't have a moment to process it. If you look at Bobbi in that scene that's what shes trying to tell Simmons, in fact she tells her she's subconsciously wrong immediately by those "visual ques" in interrogations ;)
