just bought the same bike in canada check out your manual about the tool bag ... theres a way to pull off you left side panel to expose an area to store you're tool bag pretty neat

people keep giving me a hard time in the comments disputing when i say in stock form the bike doesnt do 3rd gear power wheelies i dont know if you can comment on this with your bike i know in my experience the bike was really restricted in fully stock form i could do 2nd and 3rd gear clutch ups but it really did not want to do 3rd gear power wheelies, once i did all the mods to mine exhaust intake power commander and custom tune its a totally different animal
So far I just have exhaust and it deff makes a difference. As far as power wheelies I mostly just do clutch ups in 2nd and 3rd or I shift in the wheelie so I’m not sure about 3rd gear powers but I’ll deff try it out in one of my videos!
If you haven't figured it out yet, you need to turn TC off every time you start the bike. It is on my default. If the TC light goes out as it did in this video TC is working. Turn off TC and the wheelies are effortless. I have the Enduro model. There must be some difference in TC programming between SMC and Enduro. Mine won't wheelie period with TC on in ride mode 1 and only short wheelies in mode 2. They are nice bikes for sure. Thinking of putting street skins on mine just to see what it will do on asphalt. In the dirt it is unstoppable ...
You have to ride it for a few feet until the abs & tc lights turn off. Then clutch in and hold the tc button 3-5 secs. Light comes back on and tc is off.
Currently I have a 2018 klx 250 which is a dual sport but I like sitting up and the height of it overall (lean angle when riding, and foot placement). I just need something with more power so I’m thinking a 400 but I want fuel injected so that throws out the Drz. Great video tho!

Mrleesvids i have a yamaha xt 660 and it has the same wobble at around 80mph. Supermoto’s are just not made to ride fast. You can go fast but there has to be no wind 💨 and put your body weight more in front of the bike. Dont lean backward.
I am an older guy looking to cling to some of my lost youth. This bike seems to be the perfect remedy! Haha! All jokes aside, my last 2 bikes were a Sporty and a WR250R. They had to go because of a divorce. This bike really catches my attention but I’m concerned about the engine rumors. The WR250R was a tank but there were some things that I didn’t like that this KTM seems to solve. Are my concerns unwarranted?
The good thing about Ktm in recent years is that the parts are more accessible then they used to be which also brings the price down for parts as well. I would recommend it 100%
I review the diavel in one of my videos I do love that bike but for me I can ride the 690 all day with no fatigue so I would say it’s mostly preference

Hey what’s up! Congrats on the new bike! No drilling required! Just look underneath and take out all the connecting bolts to the ugly rear and tuck the connecting wire for the license plate light underneath “ I zip tied mine” and use the existing two holes on the piece still connected and use to mount your license plate! Hope this helps! Happy riding enjoy the new season!!
Twister I’m not sure I’m messing with it but it seems to put my wheel down when I’m wheelieing when the light is off so idk I have to play around with it more
As far as I know, it is different on the exc's. My friend has a exc 500 2018 and his TC is off when the light is off. I think, that they made it like that, so the light doesn't annoy you. You usually ridethe exc without TC, so the light will be off. But the smcr you usually ride with TC, so also there, the light will be off. It is pretty bright and annoying in the dark if you ask me.
I got the 2019 european version. TC needs to light up. That means, that it is off. Otherwise it will pull your front wheel down. And you definetly need to turn off ABS. Otherwise it might happen, that you get behind the balance point and you need to break hard and then the ABS will loosen up your breaks and you will basically just fall on your back. Btw, there is something called "supermoto dongle" or "ABS dongle" for this bike. It deactivates the ABS just for the back wheel. It is very easy to install. Just plug and play. :) But the price is somewhere around $100 here.
Am I doing something wrong? I have the '19. I can clutch up in first and 2nd and it seriously struggles to clutch up in 3rd at all even with full throttle input.
Bro you have a 2019, the 2020 comes with thin LED turn signals and a few tiny engine changes. Unless for some reason the US 2020 doesnt get the LED turn signals.
SaytheJay that sucks man but nothing that can’t be fixed in the aftermarket, sorry for being so blunt I just want to make sure you didn’t get ripped off. Also on a side note does the 1st to 2nd quickshift need a lot of force on the lever and really clunky for you too or is mine fucked lol. The other gears are buttery smooth and downshift into first is fine.
Babak nah it’s cool man no worries and the quick shifter seems to be butter when I’m moving but clunky at slow speeds. I looked into it and people say if you have good riding shoes it eliminates the problem so I might try that to see if it helps
SaytheJay yeah I have riding boots and first seems just a slight bit more of a clunk on the quickshift but way more force on the lever upwards to make it shift. Is first a little harder to click up on the quickshift for you too? I’m just paranoid was a big purchase for me. Thanks for the help my man!

Amrit Chand they are around 12k depending on where your from. Europe I think is a little cheaper since that’s where it’s made. Deff worth the purchase :)
I have a ktm 690 enduro r and I reconmend a yoshi exhaust it really sounds so much better. Also you break in your bike like a dick bag plus if youre going to ride like this do it at night when the kiddos aint playin. Don't try so hard to be cool ya know. I dig the supermoto version but I like to get up in the mountains with mine

It’s a 325 pound bike with 75 horsepower, I’m pretty sure it’ll wheelie to at least 5th

The Husky 701 LR ( long range ) is basically the same bike but has dual tanks, front and rear for 6.6:total I believe.
