I feel like wearing gear is a cop deterant . You look like a rider who takes riding seriously who has insurance and a endorsement, instead of someone who just jumped on and took off, no helmet, no jacket, no boots, no gloves, probably no lisence
@@Tampa_tom All about risk tolerance. You could get tboned by uninsured motorist and they take off. Never been in a street wreck so don't know what outcome you would have. My insurance is cheap though, like $1 a day for really good coverage in new england.
@@steve00alt70 🤣🤣 The United States Department of Transportation (DOT), sets the minimum standard for testing before a helmet can be sold. This DOT sticker is the most commonly seen sticker on helmets in the US and often seen on helmets the world over. To be a DOT rated helmet, you must meet a minimum requirement for absorbing shock impact, resisting penetration from an impact, and have a chin strap that won't unsafely stretch
@@steve00alt70 well of course there’s better out there and because you prefer that doesn’t mean anyone else is a poser for not or even should care that you wear it
All the world class supermoto riders wear leather sm race suits with Mx helmets. All the pro supermoto guys in the USA wear Mx style helmets. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wearing a Mx style or road racing style helmet in a sm but the Mx version provides superior ventilation which helps allot in supermoto. Yes you should absolutely be wearing Mx boots on a sm if you care about protection. The most common injuries on a sm are to the feet and Mx boots provide superior protection. CC I really don’t think you know what supermoto is really about. Wanna know what’s really stupid? Thinking you can tell sm riders what to do when you’re not even riding your sm like a sm is meant to be ridden lmao.
Over a decade working traumas I can verify your boot statement. Plus, I still make it to the SM track and courses when I can and training in MX boots is crucial. You do not want to attempt actual SM riding in street boots. Comfort in the heat and visibility are much better for me in a dirt helmet.
A big “nope from me”. When you’re sitting upright the visor sure helps block the sun, especially when it’s low in the northern states. I feel like I’m in a bubble when riding my SM with a road helmet. I’m much more part of my environment with a MX helmet when riding the streets, and yes I do off-road sometimes as I used to ride DS. I really don’t like ADV helmet designs.
The visor acts a sail in the wind, terrible. I used to ride my ds helmet on my sportbikes and hared the visor, If you get a helmet like mine it comes with a transitions shield (auto tint) that automatically tints the shield when the sun hits and go clear with no sun. cyclecruza.com/vhxg
@@CycleCruza I do tend to lean forward with my head down a tad at higher speeds on my SM as I used to ride naked bikes (Speed Triple 1050). I currently have a WR250X so it's not like I'm riding 75+ mph on a regular basis though. I do occasionally wear a road helmet with flip down shades, but never around town.
I also like this idea but the main reason to get a supermoto is because it's more fun than pretty much every other bike and that's coming from someone that's had everything
I have an icon variant pro, rocking the smoked visor 95% of the time, occasional if it's dark pop off the visor and use some clear 100% goggles. The look is fire and they fit the enclosure, but it's too much pressure on my nose to keep on for long (no doubt years of hood ish not help with that) and clouds the view a lot. Should try other goggles and would rock more often with a better fit. I definitely don't knock people who rock the look. It looks dope af.
In Florida, no one wears helmets. I did though. And from personal experience I can say that the dirtbike helmet is great for those Hot AF Florida summers. And that visor is helpful for blocking the sun btw
Reasons I use a dirtbike helmet: - Don't like tinted shields, so I get some shade from the lid - A lot cooler out in hot weather, where I live Winter is not too harsh (at least when I decide to take the bike) - Air goes in and out, I've had a bee get inside a street helmet and had to open the visor to let it out, with a dirtbike helmet there's no way a bee is getting close to my eyes - Since I ride a supermoto, I never go above 90 mph, so the helmet doesn't have that many downsides aerodinamically speaking But whether you buy street or dirtbike helmets, make sure they have passed all the certifications available!
I asked this question on a forum as to why so many sumo riders use dirtbike helmets, and surprisingly I got the most responses from people saying they use a street helmet. Some did say dirt helmet but because they already had it. And some just liked the dirt helmet for airflow. But I was surprised at how many said they use a street helmet, which makes sense.
Man, I have different gear for all my bikes. I wouldn't wear the same thing on my busa as I did on my Victory cruiser. I wouldn't wear the same on my R1 as I do on my supermoto. I wore different gear on my various cafe racers also. I have thought about getting the dirt bike helmet with goggles for my SM. I started out doing that riding dirt in the 80s. Now that you shit on it I have to do it!
i ride a supermoto and just like you i wear the street helmet, yea sure it looks less cool but its so much better overall. Also i love my hi-vis jacket, sure other riders make fun of me because i do look like a firefly, but at lest i am seen!
If others are like me, I started off street bike riding, went to dirt bikes and now I bought a 690 sm. It’s a lot of money to buy all the gear at once, so I can see why some dudes rock there dirtbike stuff on street. I get what you’re saying though, first thing I bought was a new Shoei lid🤙
I haven't watched your videos for a while, but damn, owning a 690 SM? Nice. I only wear dual sport helmet in all my rides, including my SV650. It's really good at keeping sunlight away from my visor, especially at summer seasons.
Seeing you ride with that turn signal on for so long takes me back to 2016 and the cbr600 doublefuhkinAR. Back when you used to cuss like a sailor and REALLY make us laugh
When I'm watchin' my TV And a man comes on and tells me How white my shirts can be But he can't be a man 'cause he doesn't smoke The same cigarettes as me I can't get no, oh, no, no, no Hey, hey, hey, that's what I say
If you get a good helmet like the one I wear, it flows tons of air and keeps you cool in the winter. Cheap helmets don't flow air. I did a video on the ugly truth about cheap helmets: th-cam.com/video/3UmK4V6ctDw/w-d-xo.html
Transitions shield is much better, the brim acts like a sail in the wind and pulls on your helmet. I used to ride with a ds helmet and hated the brim on the street.
I'm over 6 foot lots for the fancy gear doesn't fit me, but dirt bike motorcycle gear does so I'll wear dirt bike gear but I'd put a high vis vest on top. My biggest complaint with dirt bike helmets is my prescription glasses dont fit in the helmet. I like street helmets because I can wear my prescription glasses with them, and still be able to have a go pro and a headset for a walkie talkie or uv5r radio.
I plan on riding a Supermoto (dual sport as well with the tires available). However, I got my endorsement with a dot approved dirt bike helmet with goggles as well. I’m personally not looking to look cool, but to wear protection that’s blended with my childhood influence of dirt bikes and how I actually plan on riding. Not going to catch me on a sports bike wearing one, but that’s just me. Imma ride my own ride and do me at the end of the day, so eh. Get enough critique from folks who afraid to ride to be stressing looking like something to someone. As long as I’m not naked… party on lol
I get your point about not wearing it on the street but, I got a dual sport to mostly ride off road and I only mainly use the roads to connect me to more trails or more places to ride off-road. So I'm sticking with me visor and googles. Also it looks sick AF. But for street they are not good after about 80 mph . Go ahead and lift your head the wind will catch in that visor n almost rip your head clean off boy. 😂😂😂😂
In the summer time. I wear helmet, and gloves ( when it gets to hot no gloves ). My attire is tank top, shorts and shoes. In the winter time Leather jacket, helmet, gloves, and warm cloths. I want an all oncey but I just can't afford it.
They have lightweight gear you can wear in the summer that flows great air but you'll stay protected. Always wear the full gear all the time, trust me, if you ever go down down without gear you'll end up in some serious PAIN with road rash. I did a video on cheap summer gear: th-cam.com/video/gIxsHwaf9aA/w-d-xo.html This CE Armor jacket I've been wearing since 2012 only costs $80 and super lightweight and flows tons of air, feels like you are wearing nothing but you have max protection: amzn.to/3AxZ6k7
@CycleCruza I guess you don't remember that I've already tasted the pavement. Four broken ribs, a broken clavicle and road rashes on all my limbs. I just don't have fear of falling. When it hot, it get really hot in the south.
Here’s a thought… most people that buy supermotos have actually raced motocross and already own gear for that style bike, on the other hand the people that wear street gear have never seen dust so who’s the actual poser? lol P.S the motocross helmet visors aren’t meant for “sticks”
ADV helmets have much better ventilation than a regular helmets and wider FOV in general, which is great for the city. The peak comes handy when riding against the sun or in the rain. Spent riding 40k+ miles wearing in ADV helmets. No downsides.
Yeah, i think you need to do a bit of fact checking. I use a Shoei hornet 2 for my sumo. It is perfect for an up right bike, made for it. Keeps the sun out of my eyes wide field of vision quiet and i can breath in the thing. Road bike helmets are made for.... road bikes. I know what your saying about looking the part but there is a practical reason for using a duel sport helmet with sumos. And bro, you say all this when you used one on a road bike. Who gives a FK what your wearing or for what reason just STFU and ride your bike.
I always LMAO when people comment on my gear and being fully kitted out for protection. Many times they barely wear gear themselves or their gear in total costs less than my Shoei helmet. I used to be helmet only guy when doing offroad and motocross but now on the street I'm wearing ALL the gear and a airbag vest cuz I've seen a friend go down in front of me and he had no gear just a helmet and his hospital bills totaled over 300k. When anywhere from $500 to $1k in gear would've protected him from that debt.
At this point I'm an older rider and I need the protection because I want to limit the damage when I go down. Of course it would be so comfortable not wearing gear but I think it's good to find a balance.
First of all most us supermoto riders wear kelvar jeans and hoodies with alpinestar j6 shoes with adventure helments and goggles no one in the s1gp wears what your wearing and there proper sumo boys
I like the dual sport helmet with the face shield, game changer for me. I wear it on my Banshee and my 500exc-f on and off road. Never been into goggles.
What do you guys think of adding crash/engine guards to your bike? I'm completely new and will be buying a new rebel 300. I know it's just a 300, so I'm wondering if it would be overkill? Plus I don't want to look like a noob or something. What do you guys think? Thanks, CC for the vids. Been watching for a few years now, and now I'm finally taking the MSF course and getting a new bike next month. Your vids on depression and riding has helped me too! It's just a chemical reaction! :) Anyways, crash guards....yes or no?
If you plan on practicing and exploring your, or the bike's, limits then crash protection is always a good idea. Nothing wrong with that at all! You do you! Riding to impress anyone but yourself can be tough to ignore but will lead better development as a rider.
@@docsamson2299 Cool. Thanks a lot for the advice. I will definitely look more into. I guess it’s better to be safe, with me and my bike, than what others may think. 😀
do it , been riding 45 years and just dropped my speed triple , pushing it backwards !! only suffered a broke brake lever ... and more importantly , no one saw me 😂
@796andy2 😄 okay, thanks for the advice. I guess it's good to have for both beginners and experienced drivers. Glad you're doing fine and not much damage to your bike.🙂
Dropped bike in garage yesterday trying to get on stand. Need the spool arms. Im just seeing ones w square tubing, mine the slots are round. That was a heavy bastard. Fell against bunch crap most way down. Not enough room to turn around and lift properly. Had to just squat and pick up all 550 pounds of it
I just got a pair of knee/shin guards from Revzilla, made by Leatt, for city /highway use . I ride a older BMW boxer , I hope I do not look stupid , but they are comfortable and I just wanted added protection from brain dead cagers living life thru a 6 inch screen totally distracted from reality, elbow guards also.
@@ac2-rm141 I got the dual axis, I wear em outside of jeans, you could wear under pants if relaxed fit pants cuz guards are very sturdy, Leatt makes good product.
i ride KTM EXC Supermoto wearing black hoodie, tight jeans, dirt bike glove, sneakers, dirtbike helmet and goggle..i fully setup mx gear when i go for hard enduro and motocross.. On summer just shorty, t-shirt, sneakers and again dirt bike helmet and goggle
25 year, washed up motocross racer who now rides a supermoto converted CRF450R Works Edition... I'm wearing a MX helmet, goggles and gloves regardless of what I'm riding... and you can asinine these nuts if you have a problem with it. Stop telling people what to wear like you're somebody... people - ride with whatever you feel best in, just make sure you ride.
with y brother 72 years old ride my mv agusta brutale 800 in a adventure helmet wide vision ,heritage leather jacket, wear what is comfortable and safe, worst are Harleys rider vests ,open faced helmets etc
That is another problem I forgot to mention. That is the most irritating thing is the visor catching wind. Many riders don't realize dirt bike helmets are not intended or rated for street use.
@@CycleCruza Then why is my Shoei VFX EVO offroad helmet DOT and Snell certified? Although I guess it won't have as good eye protection sliding on asphalt. I have better field of view with my Sedici dual sport helmet, which I might wear if I rent a sportbike
@@CycleCruzaWell if it is DOT/ECE rated I wouldn't say that. My bike is SLOW (150cc😂) and I use a dirt helmet bell moto 9 i think, because I already had it. Yes the visor catches air, seems to be at higher speed though, 40-50mph and up. So I think its ok around town, a lot of airflow/wind noise though. If I had a visor helmet atm I would def use that instead though. I have never compared field of view between visor and dirt/w goggles, im sure visor helmet is better.
I have an MT 07 and ocasionally I ride an EXC-F 500 Supermoto and I have to say, with a dirt bike gloves I got soo much better feel for a clutch and brake especially if I am doing stupid shit like wheelies and stoppies. So definitely not for the looks, but for a better control of a bike. About the helmet, totally agree. Wear a street helmet. You really dont want to hit a pavement with a dirt bike helmet.. they are just not made for that.
💯👍 Yeah some riders don't realize dirt bike helmets are not made for street use. I usually wear lightweight shorty leather gloves. Be careful wearing dirt bike gloves for street, God forbid if you ever go down hands first, your hands will get torn to shreds as they are not made for street use, only off-road. These are the shorty gloves I rock: cyclecruza.com/pgip
I don’t know the right answer; but my moto visor I always used to protect from roost. I still use it for that for an riding. Point being because sm wheels are softer, they throw a lot more Little Rock’s and if I’m Supe moto’ing, I’m riding with some other supe mo fools 🤷♂️
Growing up racing MX with googles gives me a sense of security. I hear what ur saying but whatever you’re most comfortable with, I say that’s the winning combo. My Bell Moto 9 Carbon Fiber gives me great protection as well as excellent ventilation for riding in Hawaii. 🤙🏼. Keep up the great work SC!! 💯
1: the visor also helps block sun, rain, and wind, all of which are extremely useful on the street 2: dirt bike helmets have better airflow. If you live in a warm state you know. 3: they are perfectly safe for the streets and are often mips & snell-certified. They are literally designed for impact protection. 4: you say we wear dirt bike helmets to “look cool” and ironically talk about how stupid we look the entire video 5: this is the first video of yours I’ve watched in a couple years. Sad to see you’re still hating on certain groups of riders while spreading misinformation.
Wrong!! First thing if I’m doing jumps, I’m not going to land with a heavy helmet flopping around on my head and I’m not getting mud on my full face and in the vents and thirdly, we do tricks and fall. I’m not scratching up $1000 helmet.
I bought a drz 400 a year ago, all I had was a dirtbike helmet lol shit got so annoying with my head blowing all over the place I just took the visor off. I honestly don’t even care if it looks stupid I couldn’t keep my head down.
I honestly don't give a shit what they wear. I just dont get wearing ADV and dirtbike helmets when going highway speeds. The wind grabs the guard on your head and pulls your head back. It's so annoying.
Directionals are on all the time, bro. Your video equipment blocks your indicator lights on your dash. Ride safe, bro. Still on my 1st bike 2001 WR 250 F. I converted it into a supermoto. What do you think about jumping from that to a 690 SM? Too much power? I'm 40 and far more mature than my 20s. Stay safe and stay real.
Mans owned a supermoto one month and instantly bashed 70% of the supermoto community you go dude. Moto boots are for foot out supermoto riding style because ankles break. If you wanna ride it like a sport bike wear sport bike gear. As for helmets who cares it’s personal preference I daily adv and still like Mx and goggles 😂
I do what I want. Don’t do this but something similar. Visor is removed and I wear retro aviators(eyeglasses) not giving two fcks if anybody has a problem with it. Cool title for engagement, but people will generally blow you off when you tell them what to and not to do.
alot of people like myself wear a dirtbike helmet bc its more protection than a half helmet, and you can breath, hear, and see better than a full face and it gives you the same protection, all you need is sunglasses and clear goggles with one, i wear one on a 81 cb650c who cares bet ya wont say nothing to my face, WILL YA
Street helmet on my liter bike all the time, street on sumo and grom when its just me, DB helmet and goggles or glasses when im with the bois and want to be able to talk to them..... what helmet i wear is mostly influenced by what im doing and who im with, NOT what bike I'm on.
@@CycleCruza mine is DOT / ECE rated, as are any I've ever owned/seen. I wouldn't want to wear it on by Tuono v4 for wind reasons and type of riding, but on the sumo, groms, or mini I prefer it just for communication with bigger groups and airflow at much lower speeds. My street and ADV helmets all have cardos, but talking to people during rides or in the lot is just so much easier with the DB helmet. If I'm by myself, i just wear the street helmet for my music lol
@@CycleCruzaDon't know where you heard/read this. I don't think they are ideal due to wind noise, but they will protect you. Only downside I see besides noise is the visor lid could potentially catch an edge in a crash. But they will also break away with enough force so...
I like that you’re telling people to wear the proper gear for different riding, but one thing that you did not mention in your video when you talked about all these helmets is the proper helmet to ride on the road would have a rating on the back of it that is DOT or Snell rated These are legal to ride on the road no matter the type of helmet.
idk man but need goggles to keep the dirt out the eyes when riding in groups on dusty roads. need sun visor for enduro slow trails in the sun. Supermoto with enduro tires, need dirt bike helmet. if riding supermoto with street tires, then street helmet is needed.
Hey!!! So in the beginning you said it doesn't wheelie much. I heard that you have to turn TC all the way off to wheelie. Can you try and let me know what happens? Or did you already try it?
imo I don't give a shit who wears what but what really grind my gears is not turining off idicators. Man I've cheked and half of episode is recorder with turn signal on
so I did go and buy an exo at 960, heavy as fu....outdated and the visor transforms into a vibrator over 85 mph..........................outdated?= half price visor?= take it off using a quarter heavy?= now I can peek my helmet over a fairing at 130 mph for a few and with any helmet...except the at 960. so, now I get more air than goggles if I want to, don't have to take it off on a short stop and the visor can be taken off... if I want to. never cared about trends or fashion or whatever people think of my attire, specially after blowing their doors off!
I ride a 2003 honda goldwing. All i wear is a boonie hat a tshirt shorts and a glock42. Figured if anyone says anything about what i wear thats what the glock is for lmao 🤣
there is no difference as long as you ride with gear on your good sorrry the title you used is not the best choise it should be ""in my own opinion you shouldnt heres why"". i wear a dirt bike helmet thats rated dot for the street it breaths better feels better and goggles the extra wide and see out of them just as good as your sheild yes you can get self tinted ones but i wear upper armor thats has chest shoulder for arm back pads, not dirt bike armor and wear street boots not off road boots and streeet pants not dirt bike pants both will work just fine, just keep slide on street knee pads and butt padding. if your doing track yes full suit or two piece but street riding and little off road no just wear what you feel most comfortable in and for your riding style whether it be easy or very aggressive plus better to be most fixable the stiff on adventure bikes of any stylle
You're wrong bro.. with all do respect. Your head should be on a swivel at all times. Street helmets also block peripherals. The motocross helmet provides extra sun protection and extra ventilation. I mean, seriously, you just doing this for views or what. It's all about personal preference. It's definitely not "stupid" to ride the street with a motocross helmet. Why do you think they are also DOT certified and worn during hardcore racing. Man, I like your videos and been following your channel, but what you say here is just ridiculous. Let the haters hate, but don't say other people's choice in riding gear is stupid. I wear sunglasses or goggles depending on the weather/conditions/laws on my supermotos. Never had a problem.. both types of helmets have saved my life. People hating on you turned you into a hater.. not cool man. @CycleCruza
its nopt stupid at all. especially nowadays its about individual life and definition. and if people wear it cause they like it from a fashion perspective and Design reasons its absolutely fine and not "stupid" at all. they only moment where it should be "stuoid" is when you are riding at very high speeds. then its just the wrong product. if we would follow your argumentation it would be same stupid to ride a cross bike on a street and call it "supermoto" then dont be "stupid and ride a real streetbike. if you dont ride offroad then its just "stupid" to choose this kind of bike when u put street wheels on it. - you realize something? everybody can do what he wants cause he has fun to do it, to drive it, to wear it, whatever nothing stupid about it nowhere as in the end its about what brings you joy.
This might be your best video ever, in the sense that you have matured as a rider, and give no f**** about looks and care more about performance and safety
Yes, I've had most of the big brand helmets. I own a Arai and had various SHoei helmets. You can never go wrong with e an Arai or Shoei helmet. However, I love my helmet the most, hads down the best helmet I ever owned: cyclecruza.com/vhxg
Dirt googles arnt even certified for road use anyway, they only certified for tiktok likes and off road posers 😂 Crash helmets are called that for a reason lol. The dirt bike boots prevent dexterity for riding the streets lol they super stiff

I don’t give a fuck what anybody wears or don’t wear just get out and ride people 😂
Yes, always wear the gear all the time!
I feel like wearing gear is a cop deterant . You look like a rider who takes riding seriously who has insurance and a endorsement, instead of someone who just jumped on and took off, no helmet, no jacket, no boots, no gloves, probably no lisence
That is true. Cops like to go after squids the most. 🤣
Do you need insurance in other states? You don’t need it in Florida
@@Tampa_tomIs that smart though? What if you are hit and the person runs? You're screwed then.
@@connor3288 what if you pay for 10 years and nothing ever happens like in my case. 150,000 miles and I never needed insurance
@@Tampa_tom All about risk tolerance. You could get tboned by uninsured motorist and they take off. Never been in a street wreck so don't know what outcome you would have. My insurance is cheap though, like $1 a day for really good coverage in new england.
Never listen to the guy selling stuff, as long as the helmet is dot approved, (which any true dirtbike helmet is), who cares wear what you’ve got
Buy my helmet check my link...
dot doesnt mean anything tho
@@steve00alt70 🤣🤣 The United States Department of Transportation (DOT), sets the minimum standard for testing before a helmet can be sold. This DOT sticker is the most commonly seen sticker on helmets in the US and often seen on helmets the world over. To be a DOT rated helmet, you must meet a minimum requirement for absorbing shock impact, resisting penetration from an impact, and have a chin strap that won't unsafely stretch
@@Lostonabike I prefer to go with the more strict ECE gold standard
@@steve00alt70 well of course there’s better out there and because you prefer that doesn’t mean anyone else is a poser for not or even should care that you wear it
Now I want to wear my dirtbike helmet on a sportbike
Get a dual sport with a visor
You get a larger viewing port to see out of and now they're all I wear
Thanks for the advice. Do you recommend a brand like Aerostich leather? I ordered some pants for street but looking for good quality dirt suits
One of the reasons I want a supermoto is to wear a dirtbike helmet and goggles! I love that look! 😊
It does look kool as shit tho😎
I have a supermoto and wear moto-x helmet and goggles. I don’t see anything wrong with it.
I also like this idea but the main reason to get a supermoto is because it's more fun than pretty much every other bike and that's coming from someone that's had everything
I think a dirt bike helmet is alright on a naked bike too. I mean, my 390 Duke does have a SuperMoto mode so…
I used to wear my Airoh Dirtbike helmet and goggles no matter which bike I was riding lol
Please don't judge us.
Eh trying to help y'all. Dirt bike helmets and goggles are not rated or intended for street use and can set you up for a real f'kd up day! Stay safe!
@@CycleCruza I know, we still love you and your channel. I am originally from Mansfield, Ohio.
@@mrrandy1 Eh cool! I appreciate it! As long as folks are wearing gear that is great, just hate to see squids.
Idc what kind of helmet boots or gloves you got I just think you should be wearing those at minimum. Don’t want to slide without them
Yeah better than squidding for sure.

I wear a dirt bike helmet and goggles on my 390 Duke during the summer because of better air flow.
If you get a good helmet you will have great airflow, its the cheap helmets that have bad airflow.
In Florida, no one wears helmets. I did though. And from personal experience I can say that the dirtbike helmet is great for those Hot AF Florida summers. And that visor is helpful for blocking the sun btw
Reasons I use a dirtbike helmet:
- Don't like tinted shields, so I get some shade from the lid
- A lot cooler out in hot weather, where I live Winter is not too harsh (at least when I decide to take the bike)
- Air goes in and out, I've had a bee get inside a street helmet and had to open the visor to let it out, with a dirtbike helmet there's no way a bee is getting close to my eyes
- Since I ride a supermoto, I never go above 90 mph, so the helmet doesn't have that many downsides aerodinamically speaking
But whether you buy street or dirtbike helmets, make sure they have passed all the certifications available!
Best kit for urban riding, especially when hot.
This guy out here looking like he’s about to pilot a space shuttle telling y’all what to wear.
Yeah and if he rolls off that bike then he'll be more prepared for it than you.
@@CautionHighWavesAhead- go to your cry closet son.
It’s practical if the only time you ride your bike, is to film a motovlog and you’re not a commuter rider.
You must be a squid. lol That is squid talk. Most people that tell me that ride Harleys.
😂 I remember those days
Bad habits never die. haha I need an auto turn signal off mod.
Fact: dirt bike helmets are dope looking 🎉
When I'm watchin' my TV
And a man comes on and tells me
How white my shirts can be
But he can't be a man 'cause he doesn't smoke
The same cigarettes as me
I can't get no, oh, no, no, no
Hey, hey, hey, that's what I say
🤔
I CAN'T GET NO SATISFACTION!!! Great song!
@@CycleCruza Rolling Stones 1965 song '(I can't get no) Satisfaction'
Cammon cruza! Satisfaction! 😂
You are decidedly wrong, CycleCruza. Style is EVERYTHING!!! 😅
By the way, I love how that KTM is growing on you.
Dirt bike helmets are great on super hot days. I have one just for that purpose.
If you get a good helmet like the one I wear, it flows tons of air and keeps you cool in the winter. Cheap helmets don't flow air. I did a video on the ugly truth about cheap helmets: th-cam.com/video/3UmK4V6ctDw/w-d-xo.html
Pretty sure the helmet brim is to block sun.
Im glad you brought this up. Perfect for black friday shopping list
I did a video on cheap summer gear: th-cam.com/video/gIxsHwaf9aA/w-d-xo.html
This CE Armor jacket I've been wearing since 2012 only costs $80 and super lightweight and flows tons of air, feels like you are wearing nothing but you have max protection: amzn.to/3AxZ6k7

Ooo snap wtf bruhhh dammmmm I found you ahaha RR !! Mannn is a WHOLE legend !
💯
I love how you say PROPER😂..Your poor 07😢
NEVER waste time worrying about how you look. Worry about staying safe and having fun. Everyone is a noob at some point.
Dropped bike in garage yesterday trying to get on stand. Need the spool arms. Im just seeing ones w square tubing, mine the slots are round. That was a heavy bastard. Fell against bunch crap most way down. Not enough room to turn around and lift properly. Had to just squat and pick up all 550 pounds of it
Everybody should be like me. I'm the right kind of motorcycle rider. I'm the man.
@timothyfoster3772. Interested in the knee/shin guards. What model did you buy? Are they worn inside or outside of the pant leg? Thanks!
@@ac2-rm141 I got the dual axis guards, I wear over jeans, they were $85 each, worth it imo,
@@ac2-rm141 I got the dual axis, I wear em outside of jeans, you could wear under pants if relaxed fit pants cuz guards are very sturdy, Leatt makes good product.
Turn your signal off😂
i ride KTM EXC Supermoto wearing black hoodie, tight jeans, dirt bike glove, sneakers, dirtbike helmet and goggle..i fully setup mx gear when i go for hard enduro and motocross..
On summer just shorty, t-shirt, sneakers and again dirt bike helmet and goggle
I use an adventure helmet and when sun hit your face the beak is very helpful is like wearing a cap.
Boutta binge yo channel lol
Speak English, like an adult. Have some self-respect. "Boutta" and "yo" is for kids that want to appear cool. Be an adult man.
I started out riding street with a dirtbike helmet, the wind kept catching that visor
Free neck workout
Very loud too!
its a roost guard.... for the lapped traffic you may encounter
Goggle up my friend!!!💯
Very bad, takes away some of your much needed peripheral vision.
1: the visor also helps block sun, rain, and wind, all of which are extremely useful on the street
2: dirt bike helmets have better airflow. If you live in a warm state you know.
3: they are perfectly safe for the streets and are often mips & snell-certified. They are literally designed for impact protection.
4: you say we wear dirt bike helmets to “look cool” and ironically talk about how stupid we look the entire video
5: this is the first video of yours I’ve watched in a couple years.
Dirt bike helmet and goggles are awesome when it’s hot out. Cooler than a full face.
Mr Cruza is too sensitive it seems. I wear Goggles, dirt bike helmet, on any motorcycle.
You are still annoying, at 40. Bro.
I like the visor. Goggles aren't so great though.
alot of people like myself wear a dirtbike helmet bc its more protection than a half helmet, and you can breath, hear, and see better than a full face and it gives you the same protection, all you need is sunglasses and clear goggles with one, i wear one on a 81 cb650c who cares bet ya wont say nothing to my face, WILL YA
Street helmet on my liter bike all the time, street on sumo and grom when its just me, DB helmet and goggles or glasses when im with the bois and want to be able to talk to them..... what helmet i wear is mostly influenced by what im doing and who im with, NOT what bike I'm on.
Be careful, dirt bike helmets are not rated or intended for street use.
Yep! I did a video on helmets here talking about that and the ugly truth about helmets: th-cam.com/video/3UmK4V6ctDw/w-d-xo.html
idk man but need goggles to keep the dirt out the eyes when riding in groups on dusty roads. need sun visor for enduro slow trails in the sun. Supermoto with enduro tires, need dirt bike helmet. if riding supermoto with street tires, then street helmet is needed.
Dirt bike helmets look too damn good, sorry, the moto ones look like you go in space idk 😂
Hey!!! So in the beginning you said it doesn't wheelie much. I heard that you have to turn TC all the way off to wheelie. Can you try and let me know what happens? Or did you already try it?
Wear what you want. Simple as that.
No, this is dumb advice. Simple? Yes. Stupid? For sure.
No way you're not the guy that used to go around and say "what's going on cracky" to random people on the street.... Please tell me you are......
imo I don't give a shit who wears what but what really grind my gears is not turining off idicators. Man I've cheked and half of episode is recorder with turn signal on
so I did go and buy an exo at 960, heavy as fu....outdated and the visor transforms into a vibrator over 85 mph..........................outdated?= half price
visor?= take it off using a quarter
heavy?= now I can peek my helmet over a fairing at 130 mph for a few and with any helmet...except the at 960. so, now I get more air than goggles if I want to, don't have to take it off on a short stop and the visor can be taken off... if I want to. never cared about trends or fashion or whatever people think of my attire, specially after blowing their doors off!
He ledt on his blinker😅 5:10 he turned it off at 7:30 after another turn
This is what I’ve been saying
I ride a 2003 honda goldwing. All i wear is a boonie hat a tshirt shorts and a glock42. Figured if anyone says anything about what i wear thats what the glock is for lmao 🤣
Youre mad about people critisizing you while you release a video crisizing people for what they wear, make that shit make sense
there is no difference as long as you ride with gear on your good sorrry the title you used is not the best choise it should be ""in my own opinion you shouldnt heres why"". i wear a dirt bike helmet thats rated dot for the street it breaths better feels better and goggles the extra wide and see out of them just as good as your sheild yes you can get self tinted ones but i wear upper armor thats has chest shoulder for arm back pads, not dirt bike armor and wear street boots not off road boots and streeet pants not dirt bike pants both will work just fine, just keep slide on street knee pads and butt padding. if your doing track yes full suit or two piece but street riding and little off road no just wear what you feel most comfortable in and for your riding style whether it be easy or very aggressive plus better to be most fixable the stiff on adventure bikes of any stylle
@CycleCruza
There's nothing wrong with dain bramage...
I would ride with you any day. I like those who keep it real. No Squids...
🤣😂 👍
I wear the fuck I want
I disagree but still liked the video because of the KTM 😉
its nopt stupid at all. especially nowadays its about individual life and definition. and if people wear it cause they like it from a fashion perspective and Design reasons its absolutely fine and not "stupid" at all. they only moment where it should be "stuoid" is when you are riding at very high speeds. then its just the wrong product. if we would follow your argumentation it would be same stupid to ride a cross bike on a street and call it "supermoto" then dont be "stupid and ride a real streetbike. if you dont ride offroad then its just "stupid" to choose this kind of bike when u put street wheels on it. - you realize something? everybody can do what he wants cause he has fun to do it, to drive it, to wear it, whatever nothing stupid about it nowhere as in the end its about what brings you joy.
This might be your best video ever, in the sense that you have matured as a rider, and give no f**** about looks and care more about performance and safety
maico 700 2 stroke
Legendary bike! I want to start collecting supermotos and that would definitely be a bike I would convert to a supermoto.
Are there rear brakes
Yes
@CycleCruza im sorry that was for dude mungus, I noticed my brakes on my drz400sm are impressive, Hopefully i can get a little more grunt with pipe
I've been wrong all these years, I thought it was a sun visor, but it's a branch deflector. Who would have thought 🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣
*?
Have you ever tried shoei,arai
Yes, I've had most of the big brand helmets. I own a Arai and had various SHoei helmets. You can never go wrong with e an Arai or Shoei helmet. However, I love my helmet the most, hads down the best helmet I ever owned: cyclecruza.com/vhxg
What about AGV?
worm
No one asked

Its all about staying safe!
@CycleCruza Exactly, Are you going to video doing mods to new bike,I just saw a used 690 for 9000 That would be a good bike for my collection,
Cyclecruza is the goat. He defines what "motorcycle cool" is, as far as im concerned. Keep it real Cruza!!
Dirt googles arnt even certified for road use anyway, they only certified for tiktok likes and off road posers 😂
Crash helmets are called that for a reason lol. The dirt bike boots prevent dexterity for riding the streets lol they super stiff
Shhh... the adults are talking.
