    Thanks for this informative video, Andrew. Having never done this, is there a right side to the canvas or does it not matter which side faces front? Looking forward to the next video.

      Thank you for watching, glad you found it useful. There isn't a 'right' side to the canvas. Maybe some fine linen might have a good side but not the cotton duck which I am using.

    Hi Andrew, great video. Do you use Cornelissen's or Jackson's for stretchers and primers? I used to use the former for years but the latter seem to be cheaper.

      I bought these ones from Lion picture framers in Birmingham. They were a good price although I wish I had bought some with more of a 'lip' on them, something slightly deeper to avoid the line marks on the canvas
