You can add some of that 1/4” windshield washer hose to the leading edge and the bottom of the two side brackets to protect the body from those sharp edges

Man, these type of projects amaze me. The way you can just throw something together like this and make it look soo good while having a custom made part that you can be proud of is cool. Also, as mentioned by others, that hinge is absolutely perfect!
When painting both sides of something If you drive 4 screws through a piece of wood then flip it over so the points of the screws a facing up then put the painted side on the screws it will leave only tiny pin holes in the paint
All I have to say is I hope you apply sealant to the swivel hinges. Don't want water getting all over your headliner lol

On those s10 drag wings it’s not a design for looks, it’s for function. You’re supposed to add support struts from the tail gait to those tabs that hang down. Since you have glass and not metal for them to attach to it would be pointless to have.
