@@fatooshtkd you may not have seen it personally, wish I could say the same but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen unfortunately. I've had a few friends that would talk mad shit about them. & I see most of the hate from people on Facebook. I don't get it because they will literally stop a concert & refuse to play again when they see someone being bullied or taking it too far in the pit. Not only that, they are big on helping war vets & big on mental health & so much more. Mad respect, imo. Which is why I'll never understand why they get so much hate. Lol. :(

I like a lot of their songs including this one, but I am not a big fan of their latest album.
Dude I remember listening to this like 10 times after my mom died in February, it’s been extremely hard on my family and I and honestly apart from family and friends, music is one of the main reasons I’m still persevering. I can relate to this song a lot, and quite a few others. Love you 5FDP, you guys are helping me get through a very crappy time in my life. ❤

Ya know alot of people don't know that ffdp didn't write this it was black blood orchestra one of Ivan's old bands and I personally actually think Ivan's older projects are actually worth checking out all very interesting and artistic

It still amazes me how good of a singer Ivan is after years of vicious, hard-hitting, grizzly grittiness in his harder songs. You've come a long way, 5FDP, and I'm glad to have seen it all from the start. Forever rock. \m/

Not gonna lie I forgot about this song. I mean it’s like 10 years old now. I’ve always loved FFDP I’m not sure why they get the hate, love the sound and love the message in their songs. I mean people can like who they want and all but just never understood the hate they get.
They sing the truth about the bloody western civilization that tortured the whole world. It's the command of the authorities to hate them... the authorities are afraid that they will influence you.

I have loved 5FDP since first listening to Bad Company! This group can't make a bad song and if you listen to the words to every song ...you can relate in some way. Then if you factor in their dedication to our military and our police and their need to bring awareness to substance abuse and suicide...this is the greatest group! I will forever be a fan!

you just cant get tired of Five Finger Death Punch, this band is absolutely amazing and their music is phenomenal, Ivan's voice is one of the biggest reasons why FFDP sounds so awesome, alongside Zoltan and everyone else who was and is in this band at the moment. This band is my favorite band of all time because of their music and what they put into the songs they write. keeping on going strong 5FDP.
Easily one of my favorite FFDP songs. First heard it back in high school, when I discovered the band(around the time both Wrong Side Of Heaven albums were released). Thanks for bringing it back, gentlemen! Rock on! 🤘🎸🎵

As a veteran, I know it’s not military related, but it hits home.. this time of the year is the worst part for me.. I think the first time I heard this I just picked up this album, listened to it on the way home, and balled.

While we were going through basic, boot, whatever, they did their level best to beat our empathy out of us. We were told to lock up our emotions but never taught how to unlock them once our time was done. They never told us that after our time in uniform was done, we would never be able to take it off. I've been home from Iraq since 2005. In my mind, I'm still putting that uniform on every morning. I step outside, and it feels like I'm back in that hell. I feel you brother.
@@mikecollier6988 much love brother. This song in general can be taken as a metaphor for depression, death in a family, ptsd, anxiety, whatever. You as a soldier know. Others… not so much.
@@mikecollier6988 Sound like my buddy who was in the 3rd infantry. He's quiet now, almost emotionless. We sometimes think he knows what he's capable of and tries to keep that part of him under control. And the things he has to deal with and his unbelievable control over his attitude through it is actually really impressive. We just think some day he might break. But, we think that would only ever happen if it involved his son.
Does have to related to anything for it to hit home, I'm going through a divorce and I lost my fiancee 4 years ago, so its a mixture of both.. Also thank you for serving this country, there are too many people that are ungrateful of our military men and women

This song means a lot to me, from things in my past and what I deal with now. FFDP thank you for always having a song that helps me.
Damn I'm old. FFDP has been out for 17 yrs now, also the year my twins were born. Just realized that. lol They are big fans as well. I remember when The Bleeding hit the radio and I thought who in the hell is this band. This is badass. Been a fan ever since. They've been huge supporters of our military and I respect the hell out of that, they keep pumping out great music and I hope it continues.
FFDP hits on so many different levels and they know how to pull all the strings. It doesn’t matter who you are or what walk of life you come from, I believe that FFDP speaks to all and not just one.
The songs you guys have created have helped me get through years of abuse as a kid, and the aftermath. I could always sneak away and listen to FFDP ❤ every time I hear cold it brings tears to my eyes. but it reminds me, that I am strong, And I can do this. Those vocals for the cold part were perfect and one of the most incredible bits of singing I have ever heard. Please don't ever stop making music ❤🔥

Ive never served in the military, but I know the pain of ptsd and what it feels like to suffer through it. My dad served in Vietnam and ive had other family and friends who served in iraq and Afghanistan. The stories they told me about what they dealt during and after really hit home with me.
