General comment, do a test fit of your M5 nut (or measure and check the model) before printing several off; the impressions are oversized for the nuts I have so it's hard to get them tight. The side effect of this for me is that water is able to seep into the feeder during heavy rain. If you can put the feeder somewhere it's not going to get rained on, obviously this isn't a problem.
Cool idea Hoocho, take this as good faith critique: notice they are knocking food out onto the ground. Expect that behavior to develop into problems. The whole purpose of that sheath through which they stick their heads isn’t just weather protection. You need to include a deeper channel to the inside which forces them to have to go inside entirely to eat with a negative slope and a lip to stop them from pulling the feed out.
EBay, use the code MAR15 If you have eBay plus. www.ebay.com.au/itm/404295024792?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=wiqnnyjirsy&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=S9gW36B5QES&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Super idea
Where's the time-lapse with the funky music
Mate, awesome design and functionality.
Do you offer to print and sell?
Not at this point sorry mate
I bet each chook will have its favourite feeder lolol
100% they will want to use the same one 😂
What temperature are you printing your PETG at?
It needs a solar light in there, it’s probably too dark
Does this help at all with mice? I'm guessing it makes it a bit harder for them to access and they can't get at as much feed?
Yeah absolutely 👍🏻
What filament are you using? Your prints look so glossy.
PETG😊
@AllTheGear-NoIdea awesome thanks.
@AllTheGear-NoIdea any particular place? The pla I get is $30 per kg but that $12 per kg sounds much better.
