Mark Margolis, the actor the played Hector, the man in the wheelchair passed away just last year. He was one of my favorite characters. He could do so much just with his facial expressions. You'll see more of him in future episodes, plus he played the same role in Better Call Saul which is a prequel and epilogue series to Breaking Bad. And of course he was in one of my all time fave movies, Scarface. And Scarface was Vince Gilligan's inspiration for creating Breaking Bad.👍

One of the undercover cops was making a "buy" from him and asked about his "10% markup". Mark's character replied "You want your 10 percent? Here's your 10 percent" and shot him. He was also in the movie Brian DePalma's "Scarface" (starring Al Pacino). He played a Bolivian "assassin" who killed an undercover agent and later on was also tasked with killing a person who was going to spill the beans (ahem) to the U.N. regarding the cartel's activities.

Another excellent reaction, Natascha. Think back to when Hank was interviewing Jesse's mother -- she referred to his "ridiculous bouncing car". That car also had 'Lojack' fitted which is a tracking device that Hank used to trace Jesse's car.
Jesse's car is a lowrider with hydraulics, that's why it was bouncing. When Tuco grabbed the gun, he accidently flipped the bounce switch on the hydraulics control box.
I'd love to go to Mexico too but these days even the previously safe tourist areas are extremely dangerous. The US State Department has 'Do Not Travel To" advisories for a lot of places there. It's pretty sad..
Aaron Paul who plays Jesse really got a concussion from being thrown out that door it broke on his head and he also got locked in that trunk they had to get a crew to come get it open
@@nataschasummers yeah and that's not even the only time he almost died on the show in an earlier episode when they were standing underneath the tarp of the RV it was really windy that day and they couldn't keep the tarp on the RV so somebody put a huge Boulder on top well the wind blew and the boulder rolled off right where Aaron Paul had just been standing the only reason he moved was because he asked the director if he should stand a step over to the right so he moved over and down came the boulder it would have landed right on his head lol

Yeah thats the thing about shows that are expertly crafted, they always make time feel like its flying by. When i started watching this show i was able to binge the whole thing in a week and was always surprised when episodes ended, and yes birria tacos rule
I hope you do. This isn't even my typical genre (I'm more of a silly comedy guy) but it's simply the best television show humanity has ever produced. There is a little bit lost because you're not watching it as it was airing and became a cultural phenomenon, but even without that aspect it's just phenomenal television.

When Jesse and Walter hurriedly got out of the car Jesse not only forgot the weapon, but he inadvertently hit one of the switches that made the car bounce. The silver box in the middle of the front seat had switches that are connected to the hydraulic system. The switch he hit made the car bounce. The lowrider culture in New Mexico and other states are well represented. New Mexico has a huge Hispanic population and lowriders are very prevalent.
Just a concerned citizen here: be careful with excessive tea consumption, it can reduce your iron absorption and cause anemia. I know this because I've got the opposite condition, iron overload, and tea is one of the recommended drinks to help with it.
Hmm... I've to look this up. I switched to tea, to get away from excessive coffee consumption. So i drink atleast 8+ cups a day. More if i work from home...

I disagree that this is the "real season 1 finale". S2E1 is the cliffhanger (Jesse and Walt being kidnapped by Tuco), S2E2 is more like a season opener - the resolution of the cliffhanger.
I just see it how it is. Season 1 ended on a lingering note of "what have we got ourselves involved in?". Season 2 starts with a slightly different feel (not in a bad way at all, and season 1 already had a great feel too). New director of photography Michael Slovis redefines/enhances the look of the show for S2E1 onwards. The start of the black and white flashforwards segments in the openings. The junkyard replay reintroduces everyone to where we left off last season. It feels like a clear fresh start to the new season.
@@jxsh03 A large portion of the fan base is very intent on placing the "real" end to the First Season at the beginning of Season 2, because Season 1 was interrupted by the Writer's Strike. I don't think this is necessary, but if we're going to do it, Episode 1 is a cliffhanger, and Episode 2 is a resolution. I think Breaking Bad is so good, that you could end any season on any episode, and I still have to watch the following season.
