I discovered Japandi style a month or so back. I like the blend and how the Modern minimalist Scandi and Japanese style blend. I have always loved wood and other natural surfaces so this is such a calming yet homey and elegant style. I would love if you did more.
i actual love the beige! it gives me a sense of tranquility and content. makes me feel like i want to drink a warm cup of tea on the patio in the morning under the warm rising sun :)
A cool theme week could be alternative housing - each one is a different type of weird house. Like a container house, treehouse, barn, grain silo, old chapel

Once I had a party with some of my family and they lovveee BBQ-ing, but it was legit snowing so they put a big tent with heathers outside and grilled on their covered patio and even tho I get cold very easily it was really fun😂 Idk if that counts, but that's the closest I've been to eating outside in the winter.

I love Japandi! it's my favourite style so I was really happy to see this build and will promptly be adding it to my game. It is newer but quickly gaining in popularity, currently decorating my place in that style. I like the blend of some of the lighter aspects of Scandinavian design with the darker tones of Japanese design

I didn't even know about Japandi before this video, but I knew about the Japanese minimalist style (some people call it Muji style coz it's the store that sells a lot of items with this aesthetic), and there's an overlap with Scandi minimalism. So when I read "Japandi" I immediately had an idea what the style is lol. I love these aesthetics, but I also can't live a minimalist lifestyle lol. I'm too cluttered.
I never knew this was a style! I like it very much! Also, I agree for eating out during the cold winters, my Greek ass wouldn't handle 5 minutes outside

an aesthetic that came to mind is muji, but with more warm colors??? idk anything about scandi style though
Tbh, Muji looks to be inspired by Scandi interior 😊 you’d be surprised how many characteristics they have in common
Look up Scandi Zen and you’ll get both Japandi and Muji recommended

I'd rather live in something between the city and suburbs.. Like my hometown. Currently I live in a rural area, and I have a love hate relationship with it. I like not having other people around, but I hate that I have to drive for awhile to go anywhere. (And I myself don't drive, so I have to relay on my husband)

Do you think Danish style is different to Norwegian and Swedish? I feel that Norwegian and Swedish uses very natural things but danish seems really design focused. If that makes sense.
Scandi style is the same overall, we also use nature elements in Denmark 😊

Sis, your apartment might be Scandinavian or modern, but it most definitely isn't minimalistic - judging by that shelf in the background 😅 unless, of course, your apartment is the complete opposite of the room you film in, in which case, sure.
My office is very different from the rest of my apartment 😊
But I'm leaning towards getting more decor these days for the rest of the apartment as well
@@AvelineYT ah, cool. My apartment lacks decor as well, I only have wall art, books and plants 😂 maybe I'll spice it up one day. I tend to avoid putting stuff on surfaces, cos' it's easier to clean and I'm sometimes bothered by house dust - I sneeze 😂
