Guys, you have no idea about the importance of the chant they are going about. They are chanting one of the most potent and powerful mantras in Hinduism. It is called Mahamrityunjay Mantra translating to The Great Death Conquering mantra. This mantra is of Lord Shiva and it is believed that those who chant this mantra everyday with all belief and faith do not die an untimely death. Infact, in our scriptures it is said that at its highest peak this mantra can make you an immortal.

The sitar has movable frets. The Veena is a similar instrument, but its frets are fixed, I think.

Sitar is not a fretless instrument. It does have frets. 😅😅 Sarangi is a fretless instrument.
