Tommy You do a great job in F10 M5 platform development! Keep it going, a lot of ppl are waiting for those tweeks. My question is how additional clamping power afect reliability in long run after (10k km)? I totally understand that this is a subject of testing right now but thats my only concerne :) Great job! Greets from Poland!

Awesome stuff , finally a map for the TCU on these V8s as far as I know no one has done this before.
Would the user possibly need to change out the DCT fluid or move to another brand of fluid ?

No i recommend fluid is changed at 50k regardless but the remap will work on standard setup

Are you accelerating hard in auto mode causing the DCT to kick down gears? If so, I’d avoid doing that and run full manual on hard pulls. Reduces clutch slip drastically.

Hey tommy I have a 2014 m5 comp stage 1 tune running about 700 ft pounds of torque I’m also using xhp stage 1 I’m not going to have the transmission flushed do you recommend stage 1 or 2 xhp? Not sure what stage xhp I should be running for longevity of the transmission is stage 1 fine or should I go stage 2 even if I’m not having transmission serviced 72,000 miles thank you

So I don't need a uprated clutch to run high power eg 900hp. Just a £400 box map ??

Tommy is this still proving to be an encouraging development ? With your software upgrade what NM can the box withstand reliably ?

Is this something that you can potentially bring to market (USA) via OBD II coding?

This reealy works? Always heard that its already maxed out clamping pressure from factory? Love to be wrong tho :/ Before and after on same tune would be lovely to see 💪

momos750 you are correct, you can not raise total torque limitation via gearbox flash. To put it very simply, Fxx run on two major torque limiters: one built into DME/DDE and one built into gearbox. EVEN if you were able to raise gearbox torque limiters, your total output will remain identical. But even raising torque limitation with tool posted above is not possible in any way due to gearbox flash signature security. Even if signing a file via a private RSA key was even possible (and its not), the tool would not have enough working memory on it to hold all possible combinations of program/data area for the DTCs found on F10.
Instead of being a flasher, this tool is basically a Adaptation Reset tool. By sending a basic "2E 41 50 00" command to EGS, you can reset adaptions and the car will feel like new for a while. This has been discussed many times already.
This is from an old forum, so u have unlocked it or?

Hey tommy, my gearbox is having an issue in 5th gear when i do a pull and i shift from 4th to 5th sometimes the car just doesnt pull anymore and other times it will shift and downshift by its self and go all the way to redline would you happen to know anything about this ?
