hi tommy great video, would be good to have a breakdown on your prices for stage 1 etc and also the issues with the engine like weak rds etc and the possible costs of replacing the engine. im a massive fan of the m5 and im very close to getting one so anything you can tell me would be great.
Can we get a meth injection install vid for the S63TU??? I appreciate the breakdown as I plan on having everything(catless, intakes, charge pipes, spark plugs, charge coolers) done right away and wanted to hold off for the clutch considering it’d be the most expensive.
Why not get the clutch first? With clutch and a full on stage 2 map with proper dp you will make more power than with all that tat, you will have to cap torque so no point on putting all of that. Truth be told 700-750 with a fairly flat top end is all these car need to be more than fun monsters and pull like mf to top speed.
@@cutdepiefails6596 that’s very true, BUT from what I’ve read and heard keeping these engines well lubricated and cool is what makes them last. Of course it’s gonna be able to push the power that’s not so much my concern, it’s for how long. That same question applies to the clutch obviously but the engine will definitely see problems before the transmission will so I think of it as upgrading yet preventative measures more importantly.
I have a stage 2 from BM3. But my car goes into limp mode on WOT. I changed all plugs coils and injectors but the car still has the OEM cats in it. Could this be a reason?
First time bmw x7 50i owner looking to add some horse power nothing insane similar to stage 1 I guess and since I don’t get speeding tickets I really need to kill this 130 limit any suggestion where I can go in my area without paying threw the nose?
My SSP Spec-x clutch fried after 600 miles. Ran adaptation procedure 3 times, all successful. Followed break in instructions carefully. I think they switched manufacturers or something. Check the forums and there are many stories like mine over the past couple years. Shitty customer service, I won't ever buy an SSP product again.
could I go catless downpipes and not tune? obviously it Will pull a cel but can get that removed, my f10 m5 has stock exhaust and is way too quiet but I don't need any more power at all

Seems from the video that unless you push upgraded turbos the stock engine can handle the power

How much whould the total come to on a complete stage2+ (Parts and labor) ? if im keeping my m5 id rather drive from Norway to england for a tune xD

Catless will always be best on turbo cars but a good sports cat is so close the difference is tiny on stock turbo cars
