A big upside to pulling for aven is simulated universe, or divergent universe. In both modes, aven has been a mainstay in my teams and allowed me to clear content for more pulls.
I'll say this since you made an a point that adventurine = clear content = more pulls but did you ever consider that how much content you'd have to clear to earn back Adventurines cost? 14440-28880 currency depending on luck, theres no way you've gotten even the average of that much currency from all of Simulated universe that's available at the moment, and he's not even required in the slightest to clear them, so it's a really weird and invalid point. Only reason you should pull Adventurine is if you like him/want to complete fua team/you don't have Jepard.
@@RainbowsaurHe is not required indeed. But he unlocks that sweet "easy mode" button. Clearing Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears on it's release was pain btw. The thing is, besides his overall value he is also very useful outside MoC/AS/PF.
Honestly, before Aventurine i had no limited 5* sustain, and Swarm and G&G was imposible for me. I also used the hell out of him (in many different teams) in all MoC, PF, AS and new SU (the superbreak team stole a bit of protagonism there, where he doesnt fit and we have Gallagher, but only for lower dificulties). I dont want to do the math, but it wouldn't surprise me if he already payed for himself.
Aventurine doesn't allow anyone to clear any content, he is just much more comfortable to use. I don't have him though and have still cleared till protocol threshold 6 in Divergent Uni, finished GnG even all with just Gepard. Also i'm pretty sure that you don't even need sustains to clear till normal difficulty 5 which is the limit for getting Jades. I literally always use no sustain, double DPS, Ruan Mei and one extra support to get max damage. And the high difficulty protocol threshold stuff doesn't even gives Jades, it's just a fun challenge which my Gepard has been able to clear.

Yep. People still using luocha these days even though he's not the no.1 pick beacuse of Gallagher. But Aventurine is preservation not matter how strong 3.x limited preservation is, he still preventing the allies from dead while being completely sp positive
he won't be sp positive if they make characters with shields take mode damage. He.'s really good, but if devs would want to make him less usable, and shill another sustain they can easily do it.

NEW PLAYERS: PLEASE get Aventurine if you’re struggling or need a sustain regardless of what “team he fits in”. At E0S0 he is still godly and will make you near invincible in any base content and most end game content Acheron E2S1 is my main attack team besides firefly E2S1. You WILL be disappointed in Acheron if you are unable to afford to get her to E2S1 I love her, but I’m being honest. She’s an expensive unit, top tier when well built
I'm new and I literally have Ideal Aventurine comp with Feixiao and Robin and Moment of Victory sitting around and I still don't really want to get him :/. Using Bailu that's underleveled and makes me die a lot. I'm hoping there's a new sustain on the horizon because I missed Lingsha because I fell for the "SP hungry" Gallagher meme.
The thing about limited sustains is that if possible, it's better to wait for specific characters you really love. People say this about DPS characters a lot, that you should only pull if you'll still be happy you did so when they're no longer meta - but once you have a limited sustain it's harder to justify pulling a new one rather than save for a new DPS/support. Whoever you pick is gonna be on your teams for a very long time (shoutout to people who are still running Luocha), so you had better like that character lol
I have both and from using both since their first banners and as a former Aventurine main, I would say this, if you're new and don't have Gepard yet, 100% go for Aventurine. He has been carrying my account ever since his first banner. Aventurine is the last LC I pulled, too. If you build him as a shielder like I did, you will barely die. Acheron is fantastic but as a new player, you need to get as many sustains as possible as they will help you out in MOC and Pure Fiction. March 7th, Gapard and Trailblazer preservation do not hold up to what Aventurine can do these days.
if you want a sustainer then aventurine is a pretty solid pick, as he can help you in any contents you can just wait for another dps if you don't have enough jades yet like ff i think she is having a rerun around december
Adventurine has those juicy shields. He's like the Zhongli of HSR. I've got both characters and my pick is Adventurine for newer players. Giving him Trend LC makes him boss with debuff centric teams, as well as follow up. There is currently no other character that has auto renewal beefy shields, so he has no counterpart at this time.
Day 1 player, with occasional monthly jade blessing. Gonna give it all for e2 Acheron, I have her e0 with her sig and Jiaoqiou and till now she has never disappointed me. Clears all content on 3 stars, even pure fiction. Such a well rounded char. I am sure her eidolons will make her future proof no matter what.
Aventurine is literally an account savior. I’ve been clearing content like Simulated Universe conundrums without having to level up or invest into any other characters which saves me resources. He’s my sustain and main damage dealer which is funny
Aventurine is definitely the better choice if you are starting from scratch. And I say that as an E6 Acheron main. She’s really good but she’s mostly better at E2 and E6. Adventurine provides constant sustain to your team which is harder to get. The difference between Acheron and any other good DPS is not significant enough to choose her over Aventurine.
I skipped acheron on her release and thought gonna pull her on the rerun but it seems currently she fell off a little. The gap may b more in 1-2 more patch after. Do nah have to save for 3.x dps and Sunday
pretty sure many now are of the opinion that if you are just now starting to invest into her... yeah its just not worth, she isn't of the level of break and FUA teams and you SERIOUSLY need to consider JQ and her sig to make her competitive, so only if you really like her is this much investment worth (especially that JQ doesn't have that much usage outside of her teams) and also with 3.0 being around the corner and probably gonna introduce a new dps that shakes up the meta a little, it's not that much worth to invest in any dps pre-boothill at this point, and a certain general is also looking to take back his title.

A few concerns about relying on FF or waiting for a FF rerun. Wrt to only having 2/3 of the main teams 1. Mc may be stolen for another team in 3.0 2. Ruan mei may not get a rerun 3. New break support might not be the best for ff Acherons only problem team building wise now is having a good harmony support at e2 that isn't on the other team, given it needs to not buff energy to make sense.
1- Fugue is a HMC substitute, even IF MC get stolen for another team in 3.X, u can just get Fugue and u re good to go 2- With Hoyo's current trend of reruning characters in the same patch with their Premium supports/sustain (Feixiao with Robin and Topaz, Acheron with Aventurine), I HIGHLY doubt they wont rerun RM or/and FF with Fugue "Rumors" say that first phase will be a 4 character banner with JY, JL, Sunday and RM, and second phase will be Fugue and FF

Something i never understood about the hsr meta discussion is why does everyone give such a huge exception for e2 acheron when talking about average accounts. E0s1 acheron already does a lot of overkill damage and can't she just run sustainless with a harmony if needed? No matter how many times content creators say "pull e2 only if you have the funds" the topic comes up so much that it surely pushes people to spend money even if they don't need to. Ofc people who just really love her are gonna vertically invest anyway, but talking about acheron e2 shouldn't be a bigger discussion than firefly e2 for example
I have noticed that for non whale content creators it's an account ownership bias a lot of the time. You bring up a point I mentioned on his other video (And no shame to EoD I love their content) but, they have E2 S1 Acheron, so they're more likely to push it. E2 Firefly is a much stronger E2 overall as well, like you mentioned. They, are also, both super not needed lol. The game is not hard enough to need to power E2-E6 brings any character. I look at it more as a "I support this game/ love this character" Type of thing. Cause man, the E2's -E6's currently available just make the game some level of child's play unfun.
I guess it's about how she needs two nihility units in the team for the full bonus before e2. After her release it was a problem since if you didn't have Silver Wolf your other options weren't really that good (I mean you can use DoT characters, but they would be better in a proper DoT team), since you have only one Pela, but now after Jiaoqiu released I guess it isn't that big of a problem.
The other thing to consider when it comes to E2 Acheron is if she can be paired up with another dps. Acheron can apply 2 debuff when paired with her signature weapon. I would think this would be very important for any new Nihility dps in the near future.

It depends. If you run follow-up characters then pick Aventurine regardless. Acheron is good at E2 but that is a lot of investment. Alternatively if you don’t care about investment she does all content at E6. But unless she is your favorite I would just invest in Aventurine. If you like her a lot then go for her light cone and her E2; responsibly of course.

depends if you got the premium units or not I’ve seen moc clears and other stuff with 4 star dot teams but that’s because they’re e6 and/or have good relics and light cones If you only got Kafka or black swan they can still do well with someone like guinaifen or sampo

I think Im skipping, I got Firefly, Feixiao for dps and Lingsha, FuXuan and Gallagher for sustain. Aventurine would replace Fu Xuan in the Follow up team but I don't really need it, I think I will save for Sunday/Fugue or 3.0 units

I've been playing since July and definitely need a sustain for my second team who is better than Bailu. I have a break team with Firefly, Ruan Mei, MCI, Gallagher and some other pretty good DPS in Feixiao and Yunli. Nonetheless after getting Aventurine who is guaranteed after 60 tickets I still have around 70-80 tickets left so I will try to win a 50/50 for Acheron (what is unlikely because Bailu is a bich) and if I happen to win the 50/50 I will put any pull I get towards Acheron's Sig, maybe even like 100€ aswell.
for what its worth, im in a somewhat similar situation. If I were you, I think adventurine is a great pick cause he goes great with yunli and feixiao and it sounds like you really need a second sustain for ur second team. I wouldnt pull acheron unless you just rlly like her ofc. You already have 3 great dps, 2 of which are arguably better than acheron and imo def better than e0s0 acheron which it sounds like you would be stuck w. I would just pull adventurine, rock the FIrefly team as is, feixiao team with better sustain, and save those tickets for the next characters thats sick and you'll inevitably want. another Dps just means you wont be able to use firefly or feixao or yunli and acheron wont be an upgrade
I was thinking of maybe getting Acheron, but I'd rather get Sunday and have jades left over for 3.X. Seems like my Jing Yuan will have to carry the burden of being my lightning DPS for a while longer. Surely there will someday be a character I like enough to replace him with...probably. I don't have to get Aventurine because I have him E6S1, my only E6 character. I built him as a sub dps and I love him. He is never leaving my team. I am going to force that man into any Team I have and where he can't go Gallagher will do the job. So my plan is Sunday and his lightcone and then continue saving for whoever grabs my attention, or is as stoneheart.

Depends. If you are new player, never aim for DPS if you just want it for E0 as waiting for new DPS is always better for low spender (in sacrifice of you need to spend infinity trailblaze power to farm trace/relics). For me a day1 player, i have e2 acheron team with nice relics and want to prolong the usage of this team so I aim to e6 her as she has potential to kill all the future contents regardless of weakness type. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you have 100 e0 5stars characters as you can only have 4 characters per combat. I also found it is quite a burden for me to keep farming stuffs for new characters.

Well depends on which team you like more, if you want to make fua better then go aventurine or if your tired of using fu xuan. Acheron isnt used that much on dot teams bc she cant stack as fast, and itll just be ahceron doing the work not actual DOT, and apparently DOT units have bee leaked for 3.X so if you dont really want any of the two just save and see if any actual DOT units get leaked

For the meantime I have been building Himeko and Herta for Pure fiction. I have been saving since Lingsha's banner around 120 pulls. I dont know what would help my account in the long run. So my question is, what would be the best plan where I can get more stellar jade income and at the same time save more resources for probably Fate or the next meta. At first I think pull Acheron to get e0s0 but since there is new dps in 3.0 and more Acheron be power creep I skip her and probably pull aventurine or pull later

Depends on what teams u run I picked gepard from the 300 wish thing and i dont regret it (I had e1 bronya tho) He carried me a lot for my acheron , since i had no other decent Tren LC user But now i want Aven to complete my FUA team
I too want to run with my FUA team but I also want to pull for the 5 star Tingyun expecting her to be just as flexible beside for break and DOT team. I have Luocha and Fu Xuan only as 5 star sustains. The only rationality I have is that I *may* lose to a Gepard.
@@chadchad2263 Wrote up a whole essay at first... Anyway, short story. Their shields are pretty much equal in strength. Aventurine has better long term value tho, thanks to his support capabilities. Gepard is just pure shielding, but he does that extremely well. If all you need is shields, then Gepard is good enough. Aventurine is basically Gepard with extra benefits. If you are looking to the long term or clearing end game Aventurine is the better pick. Although, Gepard is perfectly capable of solo sustaining, if that's all you need. Alternatively you can look for Gepard and Aventurine through the Support function when doing weekly bosses, caverns and calyxes, and test them out there.
I am brand new to the game and haven’t pulled on any banner yet I don’t know if i should summon for rapa or Acheron as my first DPS, I will probably be a lower investment player. Thoughts?
If you are brand new, you should get Aventurine as a sustain as first priority to clear the contents comfortably. Then if you can get E0S1 Acheron, it will be a great start for the next few months until you know what characters you like and want.
I'm happy with my Luocha in my FUA team, will Aventurine be a huge improvement for that team or nah? I'm saving for Firefly rerun to build my Break team. I'm semi F2P

Imo if you're a new player just go for the one you like, in hsr you can more or less work with every character if you build a good team around. If you just want to follow the meta i would recommend aventurine because, for me, right now he is the best character in the game, you can grab a very solid sustain and then wait for the 3.0 dps that are probably cheaper than acheron and possibly even stronger
For me, I just don't wanna keep using lynx for my feixiao follow up team, because she just doesn't synergize at all, so I can't bring myself to skip aven.
Started playing a couple of months ago and got Feixiao/Robin FUA team so Aventurine will complete that team. However, I'm not exactly sure what to go for afterwards, should I get Fugue/FF for a break team, or should I wait for 3.0 and pick up Sunday along the way to get in on the new shiny meta early.
If my Acheron-Feixiao-Firefly Teams can still full stars clear all end game contents, i won’t be pulling for any DPSs… This will be my pulling decision making test for DPSs…

E2 Acheron in a world where Feixiao exists is not that impressive. If u have Jingyuan atm or willing to invest long term, get E1S1 Sunday. He makes JY comparable to Acheron (or even better) and is a very broken support in general.
Depends, i've been playing since 1.0 and never pulled for limited sustains whatsoever, but managed to clear all contents with those 3 sustains you just mentioned. For me, free sustains like gallagher is more than enough, I rather invest better with more supports and good relics (well dps'es too ofc if u don't have them).
I'm definitely interested in getting adventurine since I could use another solid sustain. But I'm conflicted because I want to try the new meta Sunday might bring in and only have so many summons I am also debating on acheron lightcone to use my pity on it or save it for hopefully a crazy lightcone in the future
If you don't have at least two limited sustain characters, my vote is for Aventurine over anything else. He's probably the best one in the game rn. With that said, either of the other two are good options. I think as far as 'crazy lightcones' go Acheron's is the closest thing we're going to get to one considering it's so far ahead of her alternatives (it's the only 5 star Nihility cone that's really good for Crit DPSes). And, for current characters, Sunday feels like a slight upgrade to Bronya (definitely better than Bronya E1 but prolly less of an upgrade than getting your hypercarries' E1 or S1), BUT I suspect HoYo will do something sneaky that ensures he is required for the summon meta (i.e. making it so that only he can buff the summons).
@@jinuaga If you plan to run Break teams for a long time, that greatly increases Gallagher's value (both Gallagher and Lingsha are good in those but Lingsha is good in a lot of other teams too). In that case I would get Sunday. But if you don't run Break teams or don't intend to stick to them in the future I think Aventurine is still your best bet.
i am new player: 1st team is: bailu, trailblaizer destruction, welt, himeko 2nd team: gallager, pela, herta, danheng (hunt) what character should i pull 2.6 and 2.7 onward?
I would make one break team with Himeko, Trailblazer Harmony, Gallagher and Asta. For the second one March 7th Hunt, Lynx, Pela and a placeholder DPS, for example Xueyi. Then I would pull Sunday for the future meta and a strong 3.0 DPS (Aglaea or Herta if leaks are true).
I already have E0S0 Adventurine, but I'm considering getting a copy or his light cone. Haven't decided. I'm still struggling to have a solid DPS core, but I think I'm perhaps waiting to get in on 3.x meta DPS rather than going into Acheron. I don't have any units for Acheron, even though I know she can mostly fit into anything.
I have E1S1 for Aventurine. I'd say E1 is great for comfort, but if you need debuffs for example a Ratio team I'd suggest his S1. But if you're just using him as a sustain I'd say probably his E1 over his lightcone. E1 you get half of the Lightcone's crit damage plus his shield back on ultimate. He can be super SP positive with this, I rarely have the need to use his skill at all.
Don't know about Aventurine bur I would highly recommend you Not to pull an eoso acheron right now. Better off saving those wishes. Here's why you don't pull acheron. 1) you need her lc 2) you need jioqiu
@@LucasGomes-ng2go I think the appeal of the light cone in this particular case comes from Dr. Ratio getting another debuff to work with, but I conced that the direct dmg/barrier output won't be great.
I’m using Firefly. Acheron needs 3 skill points for 3 enemies. Firefly only need one. Battle starts - everyone dies immediately because of entry skill 😅 but I’m aware you can use potions for skill replenishment 😊
I don't like Aventurine as a character, so I'll be debating over grabbing Acheron's LC or pushing for Fugue in the future (soft spot for the fox ladies).
Folks, if i started playing again after leaving right after kafkas orignal banner what should i do. Skip both? I have e2 gepard due to extreme unluck, e0s1 bilou e0s0 kafka, seele, silver wolf(got the event lc tho) and a decently invested clara. Adventurine looks good (specially with clara?) But im not sure.
At this point in the game, you need one sustain each so Aven is a good addition to your roster. He is both defensive and offensive, value offered for the team is very good.
I already own Acheron and I only have 1 limited sustain in Lingsha, so I will be going for Aventurine, will slot in nicely into my FUA team. I'm also getting S1 for Acheron though, it's very good value and I'm probably passing on Sunday and Fugue so I'll have the jades for it.
Acheron is straight dog at E0S0 even with S3 GNSW or S2 Welt lc and I told myself I'd get her lc when it comes back, but I think I'd rather try to get Fugue. I used Jade to clear sunday AS cus Acheron couldnt get the 6600 💀 time to finally break my every 5* gets their lc desires

Acheron is starting to show her age pulling for acheron its just not worth it anymore, keep in mind 3.0 is right around the corner its expected we are going to get 2 dps that most likely will powercreep acheron. Aventurine is just the better choice if you dont have him, he is just insane great in a lot of teams besides fua, i dont see him getting off the meta any time soon. In my case i do have acheron E0S0 and jiaoqiu, i do also have feixao, topaz, aventurine and robin making a great fua team, i just lack in the break department having firefly but no ruan mei, my biggest mistake pulling for firefly and not ruan mei. Rn my plan is to pull sunday and prepare for the summon meta.

Her LC for sure. It's one of the biggest DPS increase's from an LC in the game. ( The only way I could say otherwise is if you're a completely new player and wanting to build a whole new team, then Aven is prolly better, but it's close even then lol.)

I've been saving for Acheron but am beginning to feel hesitant. Pulling for DPSes on a rerun feels like I've lost out on a few months of the character being meta / relevant 🥲
That's why I never pulled for rerun dps'es, ever, because unlike supports the endgames are almost always designed to sell their releases, and when they rerun i'm not sure there's enough spotlight for them
a good point to pull for her is her technique, it's really good if you want to skip some fight of normal enemies in quests or simulated universe, plus its amazing to farm materials in open world
If you have lingsha, don't even think about it. In a few patches (3.X) you are gonna get a new 5* sustain that will be for the new meta or that will revive an older one. And even if that seems like too far away, the first limited 5* sustain is a massive boost, but the second one not so much, especially because there will probably be a 4* that pre-ocupies that role (like Galla was for superbreak).
Btw, i love Aventurine and use him all the time. Probably my most valuable pull since i started playing HSR. Also, my favorite character, so all of the above doesnt apply for me. So yeah, i would pull for LC or eidolons but it's not like i really need them. They are good butan Aven well built and with Gepard LC, it's more than enough.

A big upside to pulling for aven is simulated universe, or divergent universe. In both modes, aven has been a mainstay in my teams and allowed me to clear content for more pulls.
I'll say this since you made an a point that adventurine = clear content = more pulls but did you ever consider that how much content you'd have to clear to earn back Adventurines cost? 14440-28880 currency depending on luck, theres no way you've gotten even the average of that much currency from all of Simulated universe that's available at the moment, and he's not even required in the slightest to clear them, so it's a really weird and invalid point. Only reason you should pull Adventurine is if you like him/want to complete fua team/you don't have Jepard.
@@RainbowsaurHe is not required indeed. But he unlocks that sweet "easy mode" button. Clearing Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears on it's release was pain btw. The thing is, besides his overall value he is also very useful outside MoC/AS/PF.
You don't need aven to clear all content, it's just more comfy.
Honestly, before Aventurine i had no limited 5* sustain, and Swarm and G&G was imposible for me. I also used the hell out of him (in many different teams) in all MoC, PF, AS and new SU (the superbreak team stole a bit of protagonism there, where he doesnt fit and we have Gallagher, but only for lower dificulties). I dont want to do the math, but it wouldn't surprise me if he already payed for himself.
Aventurine doesn't allow anyone to clear any content, he is just much more comfortable to use. I don't have him though and have still cleared till protocol threshold 6 in Divergent Uni, finished GnG even all with just Gepard. Also i'm pretty sure that you don't even need sustains to clear till normal difficulty 5 which is the limit for getting Jades. I literally always use no sustain, double DPS, Ruan Mei and one extra support to get max damage. And the high difficulty protocol threshold stuff doesn't even gives Jades, it's just a fun challenge which my Gepard has been able to clear.

Yep. People still using luocha these days even though he's not the no.1 pick beacuse of Gallagher. But Aventurine is preservation not matter how strong 3.x limited preservation is, he still preventing the allies from dead while being completely sp positive
he won't be sp positive if they make characters with shields take mode damage. He.'s really good, but if devs would want to make him less usable, and shill another sustain they can easily do it.

Using Bailu that's underleveled and makes me die a lot. I'm hoping there's a new sustain on the horizon because I missed Lingsha because I fell for the "SP hungry" Gallagher meme.
I think players will be alright with acheron E0S1 with good relics.

The thing about limited sustains is that if possible, it's better to wait for specific characters you really love. People say this about DPS characters a lot, that you should only pull if you'll still be happy you did so when they're no longer meta - but once you have a limited sustain it's harder to justify pulling a new one rather than save for a new DPS/support. Whoever you pick is gonna be on your teams for a very long time (shoutout to people who are still running Luocha), so you had better like that character lol
I have both and from using both since their first banners and as a former Aventurine main, I would say this, if you're new and don't have Gepard yet, 100% go for Aventurine. He has been carrying my account ever since his first banner. Aventurine is the last LC I pulled, too. If you build him as a shielder like I did, you will barely die. Acheron is fantastic but as a new player, you need to get as many sustains as possible as they will help you out in MOC and Pure Fiction. March 7th, Gapard and Trailblazer preservation do not hold up to what Aventurine can do these days.

Fire mc in pf is still pretty decent for acheron stack generation. Sure there are better alternatives but 3 staring stage 4 hasnt been a problem.

Adventurine has those juicy shields. He's like the Zhongli of HSR. I've got both characters and my pick is Adventurine for newer players. Giving him Trend LC makes him boss with debuff centric teams, as well as follow up. There is currently no other character that has auto renewal beefy shields, so he has no counterpart at this time.
Day 1 player, with occasional monthly jade blessing. Gonna give it all for e2 Acheron, I have her e0 with her sig and Jiaoqiou and till now she has never disappointed me. Clears all content on 3 stars, even pure fiction. Such a well rounded char. I am sure her eidolons will make her future proof no matter what.
My opinion if you already have follow-up team or break team just wait until the next meta instead of pulling on an old meta

Aventurine is literally an account savior. I’ve been clearing content like Simulated Universe conundrums without having to level up or invest into any other characters which saves me resources.

Aventurine is definitely the better choice if you are starting from scratch. And I say that as an E6 Acheron main. She’s really good but she’s mostly better at E2 and E6. Adventurine provides constant sustain to your team which is harder to get. The difference between Acheron and any other good DPS is not significant enough to choose her over Aventurine.
I skipped acheron on her release and thought gonna pull her on the rerun but it seems currently she fell off a little. The gap may b more in 1-2 more patch after. Do nah have to save for 3.x dps and Sunday
pretty sure many now are of the opinion that if you are just now starting to invest into her... yeah its just not worth, she isn't of the level of break and FUA teams and you SERIOUSLY need to consider JQ and her sig to make her competitive, so only if you really like her is this much investment worth (especially that JQ doesn't have that much usage outside of her teams) and also with 3.0 being around the corner and probably gonna introduce a new dps that shakes up the meta a little, it's not that much worth to invest in any dps pre-boothill at this point, and a certain general is also looking to take back his title.

A few concerns about relying on FF or waiting for a FF rerun. Wrt to only having 2/3 of the main teams
1. Mc may be stolen for another team in 3.0
2. Ruan mei may not get a rerun
3. New break support might not be the best for ff
Acherons only problem team building wise now is having a good harmony support at e2 that isn't on the other team, given it needs to not buff energy to make sense.
Whoever break support releases will be good enough for your break dps.
Fugue is best for Rappa, but Fugue is better than HMC for FF.
Which doesn't help you if they don't rerun rm no?
1- Fugue is a HMC substitute, even IF MC get stolen for another team in 3.X, u can just get Fugue and u re good to go
2- With Hoyo's current trend of reruning characters in the same patch with their Premium supports/sustain (Feixiao with Robin and Topaz, Acheron with Aventurine), I HIGHLY doubt they wont rerun RM or/and FF with Fugue
"Rumors" say that first phase will be a 4 character banner with JY, JL, Sunday and RM, and second phase will be Fugue and FF

Something i never understood about the hsr meta discussion is why does everyone give such a huge exception for e2 acheron when talking about average accounts. E0s1 acheron already does a lot of overkill damage and can't she just run sustainless with a harmony if needed? No matter how many times content creators say "pull e2 only if you have the funds" the topic comes up so much that it surely pushes people to spend money even if they don't need to. Ofc people who just really love her are gonna vertically invest anyway, but talking about acheron e2 shouldn't be a bigger discussion than firefly e2 for example
I have noticed that for non whale content creators it's an account ownership bias a lot of the time. You bring up a point I mentioned on his other video (And no shame to EoD I love their content) but, they have E2 S1 Acheron, so they're more likely to push it. E2 Firefly is a much stronger E2 overall as well, like you mentioned. They, are also, both super not needed lol. The game is not hard enough to need to power E2-E6 brings any character. I look at it more as a "I support this game/ love this character" Type of thing. Cause man, the E2's -E6's currently available just make the game some level of child's play unfun.
I guess it's about how she needs two nihility units in the team for the full bonus before e2.
After her release it was a problem since if you didn't have Silver Wolf your other options weren't really that good (I mean you can use DoT characters, but they would be better in a proper DoT team), since you have only one Pela, but now after Jiaoqiu released I guess it isn't that big of a problem.

The other thing to consider when it comes to E2 Acheron is if she can be paired up with another dps. Acheron can apply 2 debuff when paired with her signature weapon. I would think this would be very important for any new Nihility dps in the near future.

So let's say I have Acheron but not her Light Cone. I also don't have Aventurine. Which should I pull between her Light Cone and Aventurine? My only 5-star sustain is Fu Xuan. I'm also using E6 Gallagher with Firefly.
It depends. If you run follow-up characters then pick Aventurine regardless. Acheron is good at E2 but that is a lot of investment. Alternatively if you don’t care about investment she does all content at E6. But unless she is your favorite I would just invest in Aventurine. If you like her a lot then go for her light cone and her E2; responsibly of course.
I'm a waifu collector and i really thought that I'd be pulling for archeron when i started playing twi months ago but now that i saw aventurine has that emilia eyes i had to pull him and he is the sustain i needed for my feixiao team.. but I'm having a hard time not trying to pull rappa bcs a flashy rapper ninja is right up my alley but since I'm f2p and i dont even want to build her... i hope time would fly faster so I'll miss rappa banner

I've been playing since July and definitely need a sustain for my second team who is better than Bailu.
I have a break team with Firefly, Ruan Mei, MCI, Gallagher and some other pretty good DPS in Feixiao and Yunli.
Nonetheless after getting Aventurine who is guaranteed after 60 tickets I still have around 70-80 tickets left so I will try to win a 50/50 for Acheron (what is unlikely because Bailu is a bich) and if I happen to win the 50/50 I will put any pull I get towards Acheron's Sig, maybe even like 100€ aswell.
for what its worth, im in a somewhat similar situation. If I were you, I think adventurine is a great pick cause he goes great with yunli and feixiao and it sounds like you really need a second sustain for ur second team. I wouldnt pull acheron unless you just rlly like her ofc. You already have 3 great dps, 2 of which are arguably better than acheron and imo def better than e0s0 acheron which it sounds like you would be stuck w. I would just pull adventurine, rock the FIrefly team as is, feixiao team with better sustain, and save those tickets for the next characters thats sick and you'll inevitably want. another Dps just means you wont be able to use firefly or feixao or yunli and acheron wont be an upgrade
I was thinking of maybe getting Acheron, but I'd rather get Sunday and have jades left over for 3.X. Seems like my Jing Yuan will have to carry the burden of being my lightning DPS for a while longer. Surely there will someday be a character I like enough to replace him with...probably. I don't have to get Aventurine because I have him E6S1, my only E6 character. I built him as a sub dps and I love him. He is never leaving my team. I am going to force that man into any Team I have and where he can't go Gallagher will do the job.

If you are new player, never aim for DPS if you just want it for E0 as waiting for new DPS is always better for low spender (in sacrifice of you need to spend infinity trailblaze power to farm trace/relics).
For me a day1 player, i have e2 acheron team with nice relics and want to prolong the usage of this team so I aim to e6 her as she has potential to kill all the future contents regardless of weakness type. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if you have 100 e0 5stars characters as you can only have 4 characters per combat.
I also found it is quite a burden for me to keep farming stuffs for new characters.
I have firefly break basic team with rm and no other 5 star and I have dot premium team Kafka , huo huo, black swan so who should I pull for acheron to power up dot team or someone else I also have fu Xuan and Robin along with ratio, no 5star light cone
I mean between Ratio and Robin you have solid FUA options, so I'd say Aventurine is the way to go
Well depends on which team you like more, if you want to make fua better then go aventurine or if your tired of using fu xuan. Acheron isnt used that much on dot teams bc she cant stack as fast, and itll just be ahceron doing the work not actual DOT, and apparently DOT units have bee leaked for 3.X so if you dont really want any of the two just save and see if any actual DOT units get leaked
I have E0 S1 Acheron but no Aventurine yet. So my plans are to get E0 S0 Aventurine and then try to get copies of Acheron. Would someone else recommend it as well? I'm about to build up follow up teams for my account, I already have Robin & Moze & Dr. Ratio ofc.

Aventurine is barely better than Lingsha in FuA, I would probably try to get someone else.
You might be able to make Lingsha a break unit with Sundays action advance.

For the meantime I have been building Himeko and Herta for Pure fiction. I have been saving since Lingsha's banner around 120 pulls. I dont know what would help my account in the long run.
So my question is, what would be the best plan where I can get more stellar jade income and at the same time save more resources for probably Fate or the next meta.

I too want to run with my FUA team but I also want to pull for the 5 star Tingyun expecting her to be just as flexible beside for break and DOT team. I have Luocha and Fu Xuan only as 5 star sustains. The only rationality I have is that I *may* lose to a Gepard.

Anyway, short story. Their shields are pretty much equal in strength.
Aventurine has better long term value tho, thanks to his support capabilities. Gepard is just pure shielding, but he does that extremely well. If all you need is shields, then Gepard is good enough. Aventurine is basically Gepard with extra benefits.
If you are looking to the long term or clearing end game Aventurine is the better pick. Although, Gepard is perfectly capable of solo sustaining, if that's all you need.
Alternatively you can look for Gepard and Aventurine through the Support function when doing weekly bosses, caverns and calyxes, and test them out there.

If you are brand new, you should get Aventurine as a sustain as first priority to clear the contents comfortably. Then if you can get E0S1 Acheron, it will be a great start for the next few months until you know what characters you like and want.

Imo if you're a new player just go for the one you like, in hsr you can more or less work with every character if you build a good team around. If you just want to follow the meta i would recommend aventurine because, for me, right now he is the best character in the game, you can grab a very solid sustain and then wait for the 3.0 dps that are probably cheaper than acheron and possibly even stronger

For me, I just don't wanna keep using lynx for my feixiao follow up team, because she just doesn't synergize at all, so I can't bring myself to skip aven.

Started playing a couple of months ago and got Feixiao/Robin FUA team so Aventurine will complete that team. E2 Acheron in a world where Feixiao exists is not that impressive. If u have Jingyuan atm or willing to invest long term, get E1S1 Sunday. He makes JY comparable to Acheron (or even better) and is a very broken support in general.

Depends, i've been playing since 1.0 and never pulled for limited sustains whatsoever, but managed to clear all contents with those 3 sustains you just mentioned.
For me, free sustains like gallagher is more than enough, I rather invest better with more supports and good relics (well dps'es too ofc if u don't have them).

I'm definitely interested in getting adventurine since I could use another solid sustain. But I'm conflicted because I want to try the new meta Sunday might bring in and only have so many summons
I am also debating on acheron lightcone to use my pity on it or save it for hopefully a crazy lightcone in the future
If you don't have at least two limited sustain characters, my vote is for Aventurine over anything else. He's probably the best one in the game rn.
With that said, either of the other two are good options. I think as far as 'crazy lightcones' go Acheron's is the closest thing we're going to get to one considering it's so far ahead of her alternatives (it's the only 5 star Nihility cone that's really good for Crit DPSes). And, for current characters, Sunday feels like a slight upgrade to Bronya (definitely better than Bronya E1 but prolly less of an upgrade than getting your hypercarries' E1 or S1), BUT I suspect HoYo will do something sneaky that ensures he is required for the summon meta (i.e. making it so that only he can buff the summons).

@@jinuaga If you plan to run Break teams for a long time, that greatly increases Gallagher's value (both Gallagher and Lingsha are good in those but Lingsha is good in a lot of other teams too). In that case I would get Sunday. But if you don't run Break teams or don't intend to stick to them in the future I think Aventurine is still your best bet.

Picking dps over sustain isn't that great because they'll just fall off next patch while sustain/support last longer in the meta

I would make one break team with Himeko, Trailblazer Harmony, Gallagher and Asta. For the second one March 7th Hunt, Lynx, Pela and a placeholder DPS, for example Xueyi. Then I would pull Sunday for the future meta and a strong 3.0 DPS (Aglaea or Herta if leaks are true).
aventurine is a really good sustain, won't ever die again
I already have E0S0 Adventurine, but I'm considering getting a copy or his light cone. Haven't decided. I'm still struggling to have a solid DPS core, but I think I'm perhaps waiting to get in on 3.x meta DPS rather than going into Acheron. I don't have any units for Acheron, even though I know she can mostly fit into anything.
I have E1S1 for Aventurine. I'd say E1 is great for comfort, but if you need debuffs for example a Ratio team I'd suggest his S1. But if you're just using him as a sustain I'd say probably his E1 over his lightcone.
E1 you get half of the Lightcone's crit damage plus his shield back on ultimate. He can be super SP positive with this, I rarely have the need to use his skill at all.

Here's why you don't pull acheron.
1) you need her lc
2) you need jioqiu
@@LucasGomes-ng2go I think the appeal of the light cone in this particular case comes from Dr. Ratio getting another debuff to work with, but I conced that the direct dmg/barrier output won't be great.

If you are not going for E2 Acheron then Aventurine is better.
her e1 is mid compared to other e1s and a whole unit so its not worth it at all.
Get e2 acheron or adventurine.. no other option
You either double down on e2 acheron or simply skip her.
Get Aventurine if your fua team needs it or if you lack a second sustain.
A big upside for Acheron is that you can just farm your mats so easily and SimUni.
I’m using Firefly. Acheron needs 3 skill points for 3 enemies. Firefly only need one. Battle starts - everyone dies immediately because of entry skill 😅 but I’m aware you can use potions for skill replenishment 😊

Folks, if i started playing again after leaving right after kafkas orignal banner what should i do. Skip both? I have e2 gepard due to extreme unluck, e0s1 bilou e0s0 kafka, seele, silver wolf(got the event lc tho) and a decently invested clara. Adventurine looks good (specially with clara?) But im not sure.
At this point in the game, you need one sustain each so Aven is a good addition to your roster. He is both defensive and offensive, value offered for the team is very good.

Don't get acheron ( eoso has fallen off )

I already own Acheron and I only have 1 limited sustain in Lingsha, so I will be going for Aventurine, will slot in nicely into my FUA team.
I'm also getting S1 for Acheron though, it's very good value and I'm probably passing on Sunday and Fugue so I'll have the jades for it.
Acheron is straight dog at E0S0 even with S3 GNSW or S2 Welt lc and I told myself I'd get her lc when it comes back, but I think I'd rather try to get Fugue. I used Jade to clear sunday AS cus Acheron couldnt get the 6600 💀 time to finally break my every 5* gets their lc desires

Herta's 5* form is gonna be the next acheron-level (probably even better) AOE unit.
Acheron is starting to show her age pulling for acheron its just not worth it anymore, keep in mind 3.0 is right around the corner its expected we are going to get 2 dps that most likely will powercreep acheron. Aventurine is just the better choice if you dont have him, he is just insane great in a lot of teams besides fua, i dont see him getting off the meta any time soon. In my case i do have acheron E0S0 and jiaoqiu, i do also have feixao, topaz, aventurine and robin making a great fua team, i just lack in the break department having firefly but no ruan mei, my biggest mistake pulling for firefly and not ruan mei. Rn my plan is to pull sunday and prepare for the summon meta.

Obviously Adventurine. He could make 1000% of your money gambling, but can only loose 100%. Acheron would probably forget where she put your funds.

Her LC for sure. It's one of the biggest DPS increase's from an LC in the game. ( The only way I could say otherwise is if you're a completely new player and wanting to build a whole new team, then Aven is prolly better, but it's close even then lol.)

I've been saving for Acheron but am beginning to feel hesitant. Pulling for DPSes on a rerun feels like I've lost out on a few months of the character being meta / relevant 🥲
If you don't have difficulty clearing the current end game content, best to wait for 3.0 and pull for the new shiny DPS.
That's why I never pulled for rerun dps'es, ever, because unlike supports the endgames are almost always designed to sell their releases, and when they rerun i'm not sure there's enough spotlight for them

a good point to pull for her is her technique, it's really good if you want to skip some fight of normal enemies in quests or simulated universe, plus its amazing to farm materials in open world

If you have lingsha, don't even think about it. In a few patches (3.X) you are gonna get a new 5* sustain that will be for the new meta or that will revive an older one. And even if that seems like too far away, the first limited 5* sustain is a massive boost, but the second one not so much, especially because there will probably be a 4* that pre-ocupies that role (like Galla was for superbreak).
Btw, i love Aventurine and use him all the time. Probably my most valuable pull since i started playing HSR. Also, my favorite character, so all of the above doesnt apply for me. So yeah, i would pull for LC or eidolons but it's not like i really need them. They are good butan Aven well built and with Gepard LC, it's more than enough.
