Test rode one of these at a Kawasaki "Ticket to Ride" event and it was sweet. It engine wise reminded me of older Honda twins which is a good thing! I would recommend this model as top notch new or used all around "do it all" good time machine! Good review.

I think engine temperature is essential. Would be nice to know if the engine is overheating. I'm looking to buy a newer Versys or a Suzuki DL650. I've heard great thing about the comfort level of the Versys. How's the gearbox in your opinion? I've heard it's quite clunky.
I think maybe you ran a light or something and the cops are catching up with you? The sirens really are annoying. I would have stopped recording and started over to save your audience.

Got mine yesterday. 8 years old but still beautiful. Handlebars vibrate quite a lot though, so dampers are my first extra purchase.

PbPomper if it was over heating, the versys has a dash board light that lights up in the picture of a thermometer.
the gearbox is great too btw. it shifts extremely reliably and well. never had a problem. if it feels clunky, then youre doing something wrong.
