I see that Metroplex's city mode redefines "urban sprawl". Especially next to Fortress Maximus, the height of efficient city planning.

Hi, This is your 6 year old viewer from over 7 years ago. You were the person who got me into collecting transformers. I don't really do that any more. However, I want to continue. The reason I stopped cause some 2 year old guest kid destroyed my Blades, Rook, and Hot Spot. all of them had missing limbs and Hot spot lost his combiner head. That completely shattered me. Mainly because I Didn't have streetwise and first aid. But I thought maybe I could start collecting again? And I completely love your content. Amazing for young kids like back then. You deserve to have a good life.

Hey, isn't it nice to look back and remember that war for Cybertron made it so nearly every transformer has ankle tilt and all the nice articulation? I mean both of the titans in the line have it too. And it also looks like Unicron will have ANKLE TILT TOO
12:55; the old Fortress Maximus toy looks like the White Base, while the new Metroplex toy looks like Battle 7 cutted in half.
Hopefully once the SEGA - Takara-Tomy deal went through, we will see transformable Phantasy Star toys. Do not know though if they are going to transform an ARKS Ship though, but the Oracle Mother Ship is related to Unicron.
SEGA X Transformers = titan that transforms into ARK Space Colony (or so i think it should)

This is the crown jewel of my collection. I didn't bother putting on the stickers though I wish I did because i think I lost the sticker sheet =)! I had no idea he lit up and had moveable eyes! I bought the figure and put him on display and that was it=)

I have found at least one use for the "red posts" you were wondering about. There are ports on the front of them where you can plug in some Leigon-Class weapons to them (like the butt-end of Scamper`s blaster, for example) and they can be used as turrets.
Also, Megatron would probably need more painkillers than antibiotics after being stomped on like that! AWESOME VIDEO, DUDE!
I'd love to see this guy next to the HGUC Neo Zeong. That is the tallest model kit that I own which is also taller than any toy that I own.
Imagine being an Autobot inside metroplex while he is in city/base mode inside the tower that is his gun, and he transforms and is moving that gun around while you’re inside

The Transformers were my favorite toys in all the world when I was kid.
I think that's one of the things that led to me having a technical mind (I.T.) and curious to how things work.
There is a part of me that if I had the money and time I'd purchase the biggest collection from Ebay of the G1 toys and lock myself away for a month play with them to recapture those innocent days..

The the voice and the line " till all are one " is actually from transformers fall of cybertron the game, which at the end metroplex sacrifices himself by using his spark to fuel the ark to get to the space bridge and as he watches the ark launch, he powers down and says "till all are one" and if you watch the credits you can see metroplex playing with robots which to him are tiny like little action figures that he can play with since there is no one on cybertron to keep him company so he makes his own, poor metroplex all alone on cybertron

Ghost commenting on this decade old video, I know, but I just got my hands on the SDCC version and it's still an awesome mold. Something to consider, as far as scaling goes, is the molded detail on the big red gun... it's a freaking battleship. The SDCC version also came with some vinyl figurines of all the legends class figures you compared at the end of the video, a second big red gun, and the stickers have a metallic gloss. I liked the less shiny stickers from the titans release, but you can't beat having the two big red guns like the Takara version. Also, the face and thighs are already silver innthe box. I got mine second or third hand, and the box has definitely seen better days, so I don't feel bad playing with it.
My only nitpick, other than the weak leg joints, is that there's nowhere to mount the second red gun in either alt mode. I guess it's alright. I've always considered Metroplex's vehicle mode as an obvious standin/ripoff of SDF-1 Macross anyway, and what giant space carrier couldn't use a support ship that's a cross between a battleship and the MAC from Halo 2?

Really wish all his partners were also featured in this as a complete set...maybe Hasbro should reissue it with his full team
