Just bought a previously owned 2022 Bronco Sport Big Bend. Downsized from a Ford Edge Titanium. My wife and I love this little Bronco. As far as acceleration goes, this thing hauls a%%. There's a slight turbo lag, but I have no problem passing on the freeway. BTW, I'm getting 28.5 mpg COMBINED. Agree with you on the color. Ours is my wife's favorite, Area 51. We're senior citizens and this Bronco is perfect for us.
Love my bronco. I have a 2023 big bend trim. It’s a great everyday vehicle. I don’t go off reading or ever plan on it. But does the job when going through trails for camping. Use your best judgment lol
I test-drove one yesterday, the same color as this one, and I really liked the looks of it. The power was just ok, a lot of wind noise but then again it's not exactly a Porshe 911 but more of a box. The two deal breakers for me were the 3 cylinder EcoBoost engine, (just can't be an early adapter on the 3-cylinder trend), and the seats. No matter how I adjusted the driver's seat just could not get it to feel comfortable, especially the lumbar support. These seats feel like cardboard. I really wanted to like this vehicle because I really do like the looks of it.
Early adopter? The engine isn't new and probably one of the most refined motors Ford has invested in. However you meant from a power stand point, I agree.
Have been extremely happy with my 2022 Outer Banks. One of the best features is the Adaptive Cruise tech, especially on the always busy NYC highways and streets.
@Jill Thompson I've had a full cargo and achieving merging or passing speeds is never a problem. Remember that it is a turbo with 180 HP, not a conventional 3 cylinder engine.
If only they sold these worldwide, but American management are only interested in instant profit for shareholders and CEO entitlements of tens of millions.
Just bought a 22 big bend …. Little nervous after watching all the reviews…. Can it handle the beaches ??? Hope so because I bought it because of the price point …. Wish I could have afforded. 86000 Toyota Highlander… but alas …. One last question … what undercoat would you suggest …. I have an appt in 3 weeks for ‘x lite’ ( I think !)
I like the new CR-V, it’s comfortable, the hybrid is more quite and great MPG’s. The Bronco Sport is better with performance, towing and you can have weekend fun on the trails. If your looking for a daily drive nothing for trails, towing and great MPG’s go hybrid CR-V.
Review the Badlands version and profile the differences between it and the BB, OB, and Base. Suspension, twin clutch rear drive, differential lock, HP-Torque difference. To me, it is the one that competes with the Jeep Trailhawk.
0-60 in just under 6 seconds for the big bend model????? noo. its slow but I still like mine a lot, the roads where I live are almost none existent so its nice to have that AWD and meaty tires
I personally think they are better looking then the jeeps. Jeeps have no style also most jeeps have a lot of issues. I would say however we have to see how reliable these broncos are in the long run. They are also very safe 5 star rating for safety. I have the big ben in the same color and I love it!!! But I am also a ford gal.

These things are SO hideous, man… Wish ford would’ve made the regular bronco with a metal/hard top roof. That’s the only redeeming quality of this abortion of a vehicle.
Bought the exact vehicle five weeks ago and I’m really liking it. Leased jeeps for the last 20 years, definitely happy I bought this bronco.

I’m not a big fan of the 3 cylinder either, interior can get a few touch ups but overall it’s a nice vehicle. Thank you for sharing your insight

How is merging onto the highway with passengers and stuffs? Concerned with that small 3 cyl engine.
