If I want to row chest supported with both arms, I like to load it with a barbell for more weight. If I’m going to use dumbbells, I prefer to post on the incline bench with one arm and row unilaterally with the other side. This allows me to get a little better peak contraction at the top and recruit the rear delt as well since the elbow is further behind the body. I prefer single arm dumbbell rows this way than with one knee and arm posting on a flat bench. A lot of people seem to get injured that way.
I recall this being coined the Helms row. Definitely can see the value in applying this in programming. Very nice demonstration here
Amazing content. I never knew how to replicate the seal bench. Keep up the good work guys.
Great stuff guys. Please keep it coming. *Scurries off to give this variation a try*
Going to try this today could be amazing! Sure better than what many are doing with their benches and plyo boxes.
Damn this is so clever. Thanks for posting. Saving for myself and clients.
We feel blessed to have a Hammer Strength plate loaded mid-row
Super useful, the expanded options and detailed newonaces. Appreciate it guys 🙌🏻🙏🏻

You can also put a bench on a smith machine for seal rows
Love this one. So simple too! Thank you for sharing!
I was laying on the other side of the bench and the bar would always hit the bench gonna try this hope I'll get some more range from it thanks guys!
