Thanks very useful project for my circ saws. I will pass on the separate headpiece/ face hole and just extend the body piece to make it one long cushion for my head & torso - should make it easier.
If I had to do it over again, I would probably also skip the face hole or at least move it. I actually misjudged were the face hole should be slightly. I would also use wooden wedges for the bottom instead of the metal brackets. It'd be cheaper and stronger.
@@Ice_Box_Gym to be fair, it wasn't very hard and I feel like it came out pretty clean. (At least by my standards.) I didn't watch any tutorials or anything. Just went for it. Now I have lots of materials left for other DIYs
It's so asinine that seal benches cost what they do when if you were to take one that costs well over $1,000 apart piece by piece and lay the pieces on the ground, you'd have just as much hardware as what you'd see on a $60 bench. Infuriating as all hell. Why is it so hard for manufacturers to just build that level of adjustability into normal benches???
@@RyanTreadaway Calling it a specialty lift seems so strange to me. If anything, the seal row should be just as normalised as bench press and the "big three" should really be the "big four".
@@DarrenMcStravick I agree. It SHOULD be normalized but it's not. Haha so it is a specialty item, hence the price. Maybe one day it will be normalized and they will cost less. That said, Titan fitness has two different types of row benches. One is 350. The other is 450. Not bad.
I can understand the confusion, but it's not a utility seat. It COULD be used for some of the same purposes but this honest isn't quite as versatile. That said, If you're using it for seal rows, this will be more comfortable.

Nice project! Simple, cheap, affordable, and easy to store!
Thanks!
Excellent!
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it! 💪
great project!!
Thanks, Tilen!
My set up : squat rack + football bar + fold up yoga mat
Sounds great!
I plan on using a complete flat bench paired with my Abmat Chest Up pad
Nice! You will still have to stack plates or something to get the bench off the ground though.
@@RyanTreadaway sorry I meant flat pad. Rep sells replacement ones for super cheap
@@Ice_Box_Gym that's brilliant! I didn't even think of that. 🤯
@@RyanTreadaway cuz like you said in your video.... I dont know how to upholster and im not about to learn 🤣

I agree. They're way to expensive. It's because of how much of a specialty item it is though.
