We love to see travel days from our international friends! We lol'd when you pulled out the ole' folder of fun and Nat just shook her head! Agree with Nat, Handpay money goes back into the safe (slot machines 😜) and not for a $1000 steak! Great restaurant line-up too (especially at Park MGM)! Can't wait for the rest of the vlogs! Yeah I’m with Nat too on the handpay money, it’s definitely not to be spent on $1000 steak. Park MGM sure does have some great restaurants, and we didn’t even touch on Eataly. We still need to try your favorite one there.

Couldn’t agree with you more. I (Rach) always make a plan for each day, leaving free time as well, so that we don’t waste time deciding on what we should do, or where we should eat etc.
UK to Vegas is a long journey, we wish that we had direct flights from Australia to Vegas rather than the stop in LA, however we do find that a night in LA helps with fighting off the jetlag.
Poor Bee was blocking my skycam view 🤣 There’s no doubt that the A380 is the best plane to fly on. We’re definitely ready for the fun to start in Vegas. Thanks for watching Casey ☺️
Wow that's some travel day felt like more of a travel weekend !!! I do it all in one go from here, drive to Auckland, fly, switch planes at LAX and straight to Vegas. I just couldn't sleep if I stopped anywhere on the way LOL.
Haha it kind of was a travel weekend with the stop at Park Royal at Melbourne Airport and then Hilton. But it works really well for us in not having jetlag when we arrive in Vegas. Thanks for watching.
@ I find from here it’s a similar time just the day before so as long as I get an hour or two on the flight then the jet lag is gone by the first full day. Or maybe I am permanently hung over so I don’t notice…. Yeah it’s probably that

Welcome, thanks for the Sub. We usually use the Marhaba lounge in Mel but thought we’d try The House this time. While The House was bigger and does have a separate bar area, the food options at Marhaba were a lot better (check out our travel day from Oct 2023 or Feb 2024). So I think we’ll go back to Marhaba next time.
How do you get an upgrade? Is it where you submit a bid ? The food look so tasty 😋 Your knowledge of planes are very impressive 😊 Enjoyed travel day, can’t wait for day 1 in Vegas 🍀🥂
I work for the airline so we travel on standby. We go on a waitlist for the upgrade and usually we have to wait until the flight closed before we know if we’ve been upgraded. The food on this flight was excellent, the best I’ve had in all my travels. I couldn’t fault any of it.

@ that might be because we don’t have direct flights from Australia to Las Vegas, whereas lots of other countries do so they can skip the stop in LA.

I thought you’d enjoy the planes at LAX Neil. I’d been planning that QF11 landing for weeks, watching the landing times on flight radar.

@NeilMacedo 100%. If you take QF93 you should land around 9am and QF11 will land somewhere between 1-2pm.
