Thanks for clearing the trail! I don't have a chainsaw, but I generally carry a hand saw. It works okay for a few small trees, but a chainsaw is definitely better. How do you get the audio from both riders into your video? My son and I have radios, but my video only picks up one half of the conversation, so it sounds kind of dorky.
Thanks for watching. My setup - so I have a GoPro Hero Black 7 (no internal battery)- it is plugged into a GoPro 3.5mm Mic Adapter - which has a usb c power output which I have connected to a battery pack that sits in my back pack. That gives me battery life for ever, I’ve never ran out of battery, memory card space yea but never battery. The Pro 3.5mm mic adapter has one audio input - which I have a splitter plugged into. My Bluetooth headset is a cheap M1S Pro unit. It has audio out so that line is run into one input of the spitter. I then have another mic in my helmet and that mic is plugged directly into the other input of the splitter. That’s the solution. I have not waterproofed it so it did have an issue recording after a recent rainstorm ride. That’s the next step I guess.
We use the cheap Fodsports M1-S pros. They work pretty decently, when we lose connection due to the mountain turns. they auto connect which is nice. They are great for giving turn advise to riders behind and not having to wait for people. Thanks for watching.
No problem. This trail system needs ridden. It is trail 161. Easiest way to get there is taking double track 254 (accessed from either direction). The single track starts at the highest point on 254. Can’t miss it. We have cleared this trail to the intersection of Lodgepole (trail 108) and east to the end. Rock creek (trail 76) we cleared aswell. Lodgepole west of the intersection had not been cleared last we were up there. If you have a chainsaw you should take it because chances are that more deadfall has dropped on the trails. That area has a lot of dead trees standing. Have fun!
Does this trail start out at Warm Lake? Where does it lead to? I am up in this county quite a lot. Curious how this trail relates to the south fork area and Yellow Pine, ID. Thanks.
This trail is just south of Warm Lake. A chainsaw is a must pretty much year round because of all the downfall. It can be accessed from different directions and the arcgis.com map shows it pretty well. Look for 161 just south of warm lake in the Stolle meadows area. You can access via 108 from either direction aswell. Also from the other side at 076. It throws everything at you. River crossings, downed lodgepoles, and marshes.
Thanks for all the hard work you guys are doing. Appreciate it very much and thanks for uploading this awesome video! Happy trails!
We enjoy doing the work and Thanks for watching!
Dam 4 wheelers!!! Great job guy's. Im going to have to hit up this trail. looks awesome!
It was a fun trail and needs ridden. Thanks for watching.
Nice work and much appreciated! Rode around that area today and to our surprise didn’t even have to bust out the saw…
That is awesome. And we enjoy doing it!

What helmet communications are you using? Do they work well in thicker tree cover? And thanks for the work you guys put in.
