Guys, the way that you let Jetty live her best life is one of my favorite things about your channel. I get upset when I see a dog not getting the attention they need. AND, diving and fishing are my favorite activities to watch. Keep it up!
Really nice to see you guys out in and on the water. So many of the channels that I have been watching the past 8 years or so are now just more commercial feeling. Cheers.
It was nice to meet you on Curacao. We wish you a safe journey. If you ever want to visit Belgium, we would like to show you around. Greetings Kevin, Inky and Tars
Google is great for learning how to pronounce Curacao. I made the mistake, like you, of saying it like I thought it should sound years ago when I visited Aruba. Many people do the same. kur•uh•sau 😉 Thanks for sharing.
This may be my favorite episode, offshore foiling, great underwater shots, lesser explored locations, fishing but not catching(I'm very familiar), Jetty the dolphin whisperer, caves, sightseeing, stories of rum, and the cherry on top is Sierra's smile sprinkled in throughout the vid. Thanks guys!!!
my wife and i met in '75 in the sierra(love you sierra) mountains of calif--she was ex 6ft basketball star,me football-- we bought a travel trailer and did all what your doing--you guys are so lucky--our kids came and we still did all the fun stuff your doing--our boys were spoiled rotten--they went all over the world--our work allow us to do this--now we are both 72 and still fit and able to do more than most our age--hope you do the same--
Jetty, like any true sea dog, wants to play with the dolphins. At least, that's what it sounded like to me. After 73 years I've got a pack waiting on the other side of the pearly gates, and that sounds like "Hey! Come play!"
Very cool video. Loved the dolphins and agree completely about staying away from the nice pools and exploring and having fun in the less traveled areas.
Suggestion…if you guys can figure out how to take a medium size dive lite when you snorkel, you’ll be amazed how much more you will see hiding in the shadows and dark areas. You could attach it to your non camera hand/wrist. A lot of the sea creatures are hiding during the day. The sea truly comes to life at night. Keep up the good work and protect your skin !
If you see the birds feeding there is most likely a bait ball where they are feeding with the fish driving the bait ball to the surface. This is the place you want to fish. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Great video! First time watching. Did you know that Tula is the name of one of the biggest heroes of Curaçao? You should read about him while you're there!
Those dolphin were feeding on the fish you saw under the birds. The dolphin splashing it's tail was confusing the fish to better catch them. Birds and dolphin can both mean food fishing spot. Although the dolphin can scare the fish away after a little while.
We are a family of 5 on a classic 38ft sailboat fulltime for the past 3 years. Thousands of miles and multiple countries later we are still at it. Our living space is closer to 28 ft once you minus the cockpit and the engine with the bow tapering to a point. We are currently in Guatemala and hauled out for maintence. We are debating if we are heading to Panama or make our way back to the US to get a larger boat. We currently have a friend in Curacao tempting us to come down, seeing your video makes another cruising season on this boat tempting. Our family absolutely loves this nomadic lifestyle. We are weighing pros and cons of the above mentioned options and doing our research to see which direction our family will move next. Our family absolutely loves this nomadic lifestyle.
Hello Tula, a funny little creature popped up @ approx 26.45 into the video, what was that? Probably really don’t want to know. Very funny, just made me smile. Thanx for the grin.
To everyone mentioning the pronunciation thing... Sierra knows how to pronounce Curaçao, see the other videos. I think she just misspoke and got it mixed up with Carriacou Grenada, which they were at a while back.
Great Video. I am not sure of the cell service, but if you have it get Google Lens. Snap picture of any thing and Google will tell youpout about it. If it is vegetative or animal, it will tell you what it is. If it is almost anything man made, it will tell you where you can buy it.
see the bird in the miifdle u have fun all the time i thought life was sitting baby sitting my kids i have not had a day alone or nor a week alone a month alone in 23 yrs i warn out .. u r life is insane creative i am looking into 44 lagoon i over traffic or not idk lost my drive cuz of my kids i guesss it wierd when iuuu just have no passion anymore fl suc stay wet lomon
Not to sound like a total nerd, but the name Curaçao has a cedilla, the letter c with that curious little squiggly mark, it's a Latin script that you see in other romance languages like French, Portuguese, Catalan and Galician. The phonetic sound you'd make would be a palative fricative, so like saying "Cura-sow." Hope that helps; class dismissed.
*official!!..**favorite you tube channeL!!!...u2 knock it out the park every time..***🆒!!!..💙🌎✌🏽🥷🏽..ps..(billy..,u look'd like the guy in the surfing-horror-comedy "i know what you doing next summer!!"..Lol..🤠..j.k'dn..u guy's stay safe.."💙".)
It's such a shame to see little or no active coral or plant life on the ocean floor. Those who didn't witness the beauty of the under sea environment in 70's and 80's when coral, sea fans, and other marine growth were active missed something no longer available throughout the world except in very rare places and that won't last.
Got this on the dolphins....Dolphins are curious and playful creatures, and there are a few reasons why they might chase boats: Fun and Play: Dolphins love to ride the waves created by boats (bow-riding or wake-riding). It's like a free, exhilarating ride for them! The pressure wave created by the boat helps them swim faster with less effort. Curiosity: Dolphins are intelligent and curious animals. Boats are new and interesting objects in their environment, so they may swim closer to investigate. Food: The movement of boats can stir up fish and other prey, making it easier for dolphins to hunt. Some boaters also throw fish overboard, which can attract dolphins. Social Interaction: Chasing boats can be a social activity for dolphins. They may enjoy swimming and playing together in the boat's wake. Energy Conservation: Riding the bow wave of a boat allows dolphins to conserve energy while traveling quickly.

Jetty is having fun. So cute.
Just wanted to say your editor rocks!! Beautiful adventure you are having. Thank you for bringing us along.
Looks like you were having a great time around the caves there. Jetty didn't know what to make of those dolphins - friend or foe?!
Really nice to see you guys out in and on the water. So many of the channels that I have been watching the past 8 years or so are now just more commercial feeling. Cheers.

One time I was on the Gulf of Mexico and a dolphin came to the shore.It was so cool .The coolest;
Jetty, like any true sea dog, wants to play with the dolphins. At least, that's what it sounded like to me. After 73 years I've got a pack waiting on the other side of the pearly gates, and that sounds like "Hey! Come play!"
It’s possible that you three really have too much fun.

13:49 the dolphins recognized her as the Pirate-Queen from the sail!

Dolphins/caves all fabulous. Thank u 🇨🇦 ❤
Mi dushi Isla!!
My lovely island!!
Love your videos, thank you for sharing.
You two would LOVE "Jackfromtown" on TH-cam, Gnarly foil from Maui to Molokai to Oahu. It's EPIC!
It was so hot when we were there. The island block the wind where the cruise ship stops.
Jetty wants to run and play with the Sea Doggos! She is telling them to wait for her!

I think of it as a variant of S since that's what it ends up looking like.
I'm so glad you got rid of that goatee beard.
To pronounce Curacao you could try to ‘cure a sow’ where ‘sow’ is the female pig. Try to connect the words and you are there. CureASow Curacao
😅
Until your big enough. Hahaha

CURACAO: PRONOUNCED( kyu̇r-ə-ˈsō-ə) OR KEERA-SO.
I don't think the rum was bad luck to make. It was just bad for you. Back in the day that was bad for you so it was bad luck

lol
Cure a sow - Windy dusty rock, a sunny place for shady people. Why I left after eight years.
It's "Cu" like in cool, "ra" like in rather, and "çao" like in a female piggy. Say "Coolrathersow" and then just drop the letters you no longer need.
It is pronounced cura- sa- u
It's like your swimming in a salt water aquariam
