I got a n3ds xl when I was a kid but didn't have the money to buy games. So I just had smb2 and 3d land.. But after nintendo ditched the console I pulled it out again and modded it then installed a million games and I've been having so much fun with it again lol

A personal recc of mine when it comes to cute/cozy 3DS games is imo Ever Oasis. Basically, it's a game similar to like a 3D Zelda but it has some town management sprinkled in, you make your town, go out and explore, find resources and even new townsfolk that help you on your journey, and there's this balance of having a happy town making you stronger in the wild, which in turn lets you find better things for the town. The thing is the art style, ITS SO CUTE and its literally my favorite 3DS game, if even my favorite game of all time, the characters are SO cute, their dialogue is fun, its too cute, idk what to say. I highly encourage anyone with a 3DS to give it a chance, I'm sure you'll love it.

I think a good title to add to your 3DS library is Hometown Story. It's a niche game from Natsume that stylistically fits in well with most of your games. It's a lesser-known shop management game that takes place in the universe of Harvest Moon. It didn't perform well critically or commercially, but I remember having fun playing it back in the day. If you want to get it physically, it's selling for like $4-$6.

My number 1 rec is Kira Kira Pop princess ! Fun dance and dress up game I poured hundreds of hours in as a kid plus the replay value is really high if you want to try getting every clothes! Also rec Princess debut ! Dancing, dating, dressing up !! They're Ds games but ofc they also work on the 3ds system !!

i miss my 3ds so much. i have played teddy together before in japanese, which is called kumatomo, and was the best pet-based game i ever played back then, more because i like bears a lot. had so many themes too and badges but i can barely remember anymore :(

Omg Rune Factory 4 is my favorite game ever, it has the best characters of any farming sim. It also has like multiple novels worth of dialogue, so the characters don’t say the same thing every single day. I can’t recommend it enough.
I've used my New 3DS XL for a long time now but the best thing so far has been to mod it. The fact that I can try games I've never been able to get my hands on is cool. Also trying what the console is capable of outside normal games is interesting. I hope one day I can convince my friends to mods theirs so I can play ACNL again with them

in case you're looking to get into the ace attorney series proper, there are 3ds remasters of the original trilogy + the fourth game. i recommend playing those before playing dual destinies and spirit of justice

I've been procrastinating on trying to mod my 8-year-old 3ds XL for weeks and I'm like 99% sure this video coming onto my recommended was some sort of sign Edit: I was just thinking about Ace Attorney and then you mentioned it lol, Dual Destinies is tied for my favorite game in the series alongside Spirit of Justice, the majority of the fandom doesn't like those two very much but I _adore_ them, the stories in those two games managed to get my heart in a chokehold (I've obviously gotten emotional while playing and SOJ case 3 got me damn close to tears but SOJ case 5 is the only case in the main series that ever made me start fully sobbing while playing it), it also helps that I am incredibly gay for Simon Blackquill

It's a rhythm game centered around Hatsune Miku and the other vocaloids with the game having its own original characters (Saki being one of them) interacting. They recently had a limited time Sanrio event so that's why she's with PomPom purin.

I have Sanrio theme on my 3DS, too. Mine is Wish me Mell, as she's my favorite. If you like Sanrio and rhythm games, I'm surprised you didn't pick up BonBon Ribbon!! The four bunny girls are practicing to become a band, and they do dances and dress up. I have it and I like it. There's plenty of songs, and depending on which bunny you make the lead character the library of songs change. It's an adorable little game. Yes it is all in Japanese but I find it really easy to play.
I’ve been playing so much 3ds lately that I haven’t picked up my switch or pc for games in months lol I have a cinnamon roll white 3ds xl and a hatsune miku blue new 3ds xl. I LOVE them! I’ve been playing through Fantasy Life for like 3rd time and I’m just as into now as I was every other time lol. With Hshop it was so easy to get the DLC too. Next is Ever Oasis.

u could totally get a vinyl/skin to change your 3ds color if u want to!! i bought my 3ds when i was 12 so ofc i chose the ugly galaxy one but i recently bought a vinyl on etsy for like $20 and some stickers so it's super cute now:)
It really is the best way to play games on the go. Phones hurt my eyes and the switch is too large, the 3ds perfectly fits in your pockets and has thousands of games

Since the nintendo eshop daly closed id recommend getting hshop if your console is modded, that way if you want to shell out a lot of money you can get it in a not so good way.
I'm thinking of saving up for one of these, but I do have a question: is there really that much difference between the regular 3DS XL and the New 3DS XL?
i have never owned a new 3ds (sadly lol) so take it with a grain of salt but, design wise has the new version cover plates you can mix and match, and different color buttons. Software is i think the same but overall should work faster than the orginal 3dsXL. But again ive never used it before so idk how much faster it is, imo this one is fine

You can always use a smartphone and google lens/ thr camera option in google translate to scan and translate japanese in real time! I use it all the time to play japanese games and its very helpful❤ love the vid!❤

I got Teddy Together 3ds when it first came out but not easily... Luckily I have a friend from Australia who shipped me both a blue 2ds & a copy of Teddy Together 3ds because Nintendo of America refused to release the game in America at the time. Only reason how I know I called Nintendo Of America on the phone back then asking several times if Teddy Together 3ds would ever have an American release was told by the higher ups in Nintendo on the phone to import the game system & the game if I wanted to play it that badly & also told me they had zero intent on releasing it in America even though at the time I pointed out to them on the phone that it already had a UK release with the English language already in the game to play in. The UK version has about 10 languages on every game released in the UK. Only reason I couldn't play it on my red American 3ds xl & special edition pikachu 3ds xl is because the 3ds is region locked. If you have an American 3ds you can only play American 3ds games. Same with UK 3ds only plays UK 3ds games & same for Japanese 3ds only plays Japanese 3ds games. I knew alot of gamers when the 3ds came out who bought 3 3ds's 1 from each region to be able to play & enjoy the games they wanted to because nintendo only released certain games in certain regions. As for Teddy Together 3DS it was originally released in Japan first known as Kuma Tomo 3DS. Kuma Tomo 3ds / Teddy Together 3ds as has a sequel on nintendo switch known as Neko Tomo. I have both Teddy Together 3ds & Neko Tomo nintendo switch & also the Kuma Tomo anime novel / book that came out the same time as the 3ds game all in Japanese. I just use Google translate app on my phone to translate both the anime novel & Neko Tomo nintendo switch have well over a 100 hours in the switch game. It's very addicting gameplay. 🥰🤣✌️

i got reaaaally lucky and found it in a random game store in my home country like 7 years ago, your best bet is just to look on ebay or whatever second hand websites you use in your region. Just make sure the game is matching with your region because the DS does have region locks :C but if you were ever considering modding your console this wouldnt be a problem

I use the Checkpoint 3ds application for most of my cheats, but there are more availble on the The Nintendogs + Cats Save Editor program but that takes a few more steps to do
Hi Hamster.. I’m thinking of modding my 3ds and I’m scared… Did you lose any data when you installed the hacks? I have YEARS worth of data on my main. But I’m going to test it on my crusty one first. I need to do it because of online being shut down but I’m worried I will brick it… I have a lot of experience with this kinda of thing but I’m still shaking because of the potential data loss.. my laptop also doesn’t have a sdhd card slot so I bought an adapter on Amazon with good reviews. I think that is why I’m worried since it my card can’t go directly into my pc. Actually typing that all out helped 😂 I have fully modded the sims 3 and various virtual pets I just need to vent to a friend. Sorry I’m ok now I’m going to take your word that it was easy and not panic thanks Hamster End of rant but I do still want to know if you lost data when installing all that
When I modded my console I was scared of that too but it's completely fine today. I followed @antonretro 's tutorial on youtube and it took 20 minutes to mod the whole thing. It's a different tutorial depending on your console type. It's easy to follow too
also if u have ever wanted more badges that were from the official badge arcade there's an internet archive of all of them!!!! you can only have 1000 though so be careful lol

(make sure you enable cheats on the trilogy so that you can skip one of the chapters in the second game. it's a real buzzkill lol)

It's a rhythm game centered around Hatsune Miku and the other vocaloids with the game having its own original characters (Saki being one of them) interacting. They recently had a limited time Sanrio event so that's why she's with PomPom purin.

I have Sanrio theme on my 3DS, too. Mine is Wish me Mell, as she's my favorite.
If you like Sanrio and rhythm games, I'm surprised you didn't pick up BonBon Ribbon!! The four bunny girls are practicing to become a band, and they do dances and dress up. I have it and I like it. There's plenty of songs, and depending on which bunny you make the lead character the library of songs change. It's an adorable little game. Yes it is all in Japanese but I find it really easy to play.

I’ve been playing so much 3ds lately that I haven’t picked up my switch or pc for games in months lol I have a cinnamon roll white 3ds xl and a hatsune miku blue new 3ds xl. I LOVE them! I’ve been playing through Fantasy Life for like 3rd time and I’m just as into now as I was every other time lol. With Hshop it was so easy to get the DLC too. Next is Ever Oasis.

u could totally get a vinyl/skin to change your 3ds color if u want to!! i bought my 3ds when i was 12 so ofc i chose the ugly galaxy one but i recently bought a vinyl on etsy for like $20 and some stickers so it's super cute now:)

It really is the best way to play games on the go. Phones hurt my eyes and the switch is too large, the 3ds perfectly fits in your pockets and has thousands of games

Since the nintendo eshop daly closed id recommend getting hshop if your console is modded, that way if you want to shell out a lot of money you can get it in a not so good way.

I'm thinking of saving up for one of these, but I do have a question: is there really that much difference between the regular 3DS XL and the New 3DS XL?
i have never owned a new 3ds (sadly lol) so take it with a grain of salt but, design wise has the new version cover plates you can mix and match, and different color buttons. Software is i think the same but overall should work faster than the orginal 3dsXL. But again ive never used it before so idk how much faster it is, imo this one is fine

found a pastel pink 3ds xl for $50 while abroad, but didn't pick it up b/c i was looking for an n3dsxl, which i found later in white for $80
where in the world are you getting these bargains?????? the cheapest 3ds xl i’ve seen is around $200
@@lilacfields best deals i've found were all around chiba prefecture in japan. you can probably import and still get a pretty decent deal!
I play animal crossing but the 3DS online doesn’t work anymore so I can’t visit the islands anymore 😢 but I can still enjoy games on my switch and DS
Omg I miss it SOOOO MUCH !! Animal crossing new Horizons doesn't hit the same and everybody I played with left after the hype period unlike ACNL that had a somewhat constant flow of players throughout the years despite the community being smaller.
You can always use a smartphone and google lens/ thr camera option in google translate to scan and translate japanese in real time! I use it all the time to play japanese games and its very helpful❤ love the vid!❤

I got Teddy Together 3ds when it first came out but not easily... Luckily I have a friend from Australia who shipped me both a blue 2ds & a copy of Teddy Together 3ds because Nintendo of America refused to release the game in America at the time. Only reason how I know I called Nintendo Of America on the phone back then asking several times if Teddy Together 3ds would ever have an American release was told by the higher ups in Nintendo on the phone to import the game system & the game if I wanted to play it that badly & also told me they had zero intent on releasing it in America even though at the time I pointed out to them on the phone that it already had a UK release with the English language already in the game to play in. The UK version has about 10 languages on every game released in the UK. Only reason I couldn't play it on my red American 3ds xl & special edition pikachu 3ds xl is because the 3ds is region locked. If you have an American 3ds you can only play American 3ds games. Same with UK 3ds only plays UK 3ds games & same for Japanese 3ds only plays Japanese 3ds games. I knew alot of gamers when the 3ds came out who bought 3 3ds's 1 from each region to be able to play & enjoy the games they wanted to because nintendo only released certain games in certain regions. As for Teddy Together 3DS it was originally released in Japan first known as Kuma Tomo 3DS. Kuma Tomo 3ds / Teddy Together 3ds as has a sequel on nintendo switch known as Neko Tomo. I have both Teddy Together 3ds & Neko Tomo nintendo switch & also the Kuma Tomo anime novel / book that came out the same time as the 3ds game all in Japanese. I just use Google translate app on my phone to translate both the anime novel & Neko Tomo nintendo switch have well over a 100 hours in the switch game. It's very addicting gameplay. 🥰🤣✌️

i got reaaaally lucky and found it in a random game store in my home country like 7 years ago, your best bet is just to look on ebay or whatever second hand websites you use in your region. Just make sure the game is matching with your region because the DS does have region locks :C but if you were ever considering modding your console this wouldnt be a problem

I use the Checkpoint 3ds application for most of my cheats, but there are more availble on the The Nintendogs + Cats Save Editor program but that takes a few more steps to do

Hi Hamster.. I’m thinking of modding my 3ds and I’m scared… Did you lose any data when you installed the hacks? I have YEARS worth of data on my main. But I’m going to test it on my crusty one first. I need to do it because of online being shut down but I’m worried I will brick it… I have a lot of experience with this kinda of thing but I’m still shaking because of the potential data loss.. my laptop also doesn’t have a sdhd card slot so I bought an adapter on Amazon with good reviews. I think that is why I’m worried since it my card can’t go directly into my pc. Actually typing that all out helped 😂 I have fully modded the sims 3 and various virtual pets I just need to vent to a friend. Sorry I’m ok now I’m going to take your word that it was easy and not panic thanks Hamster End of rant but I do still want to know if you lost data when installing all that
When I modded my console I was scared of that too but it's completely fine today. I followed @antonretro 's tutorial on youtube and it took 20 minutes to mod the whole thing. It's a different tutorial depending on your console type. It's easy to follow too
