My husband is always telling me not to worry. My anxiety is real bad. I lost a baby at 21 weeks and that’s when the panic attacks began. Nails help me keep my mind busy. Loved this video! I knew I was drawn to your channel for a reason. You're very down to Earth and real, but I also have PCOS and 2 beautiful girls. I started doing my nails to combat being in a dark place. I wish I could do videos like you too, but my hands have a constant shake from nerve damage. She was born here in Virginia at Portsmouth Naval and she was only 26 weeks gestation! 2lbs 2oz!🥰 She is 3 now and a pure, undeniable miracle! Can I do a backfill when using the gel method? If so how do I do it? Also is the gel method as strong as using dip base & activator? And how long does the mani last when using the gel method?
I suffered with severe endometriosis and infertility and found doing my own nails was like meditation. I can so relate. ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Chelsea, what’s the best method to remove gel polish? I watched your dip powder removal video and followed the steps but was still very hard to remove the gel.

So sorry to hear you were having troubles removing the gel 😩💖 unfortunately, gel can be a little harder to remove in comparison to dip liquids. I suggest reallyyyyy filing down as much as you can if you’re using gel products before soaking off. You can still totally do the same soak off method. But before soaking, either with a 100 grit file or an efile, I would file down a lot of the product first. Hope this helps! 💖
Hi! I’m new to gel polish and the gel method. How long is considered flash curing?
My particular lamp is a 10 sec option for flash curing 🥰 I have a more in depth gel mani video coming soon!
Do you prefer karas claws for the gel method or the maniboss one?
Ohhhh that’s a tough one! I love them both equally for different reasons. I like that mani boss is 1 product. So less waste; less space. But I love that Kara’s top coat is a no wipe. They’re both pretty comparable for consistency and definitely same shine ✨
I have the same gel lamp can you tell me how long to keep it in the lamp for?
I cure everything for 60 sec! 🫶🏻
Are you applying activator with each flash cure?
Nope! Not activator necessary when using gel liquids 🙌🏼 just gel base , then cure 🥰
Are dip powders interchangeable with the liquids?
Yes!! You can mix and match different brand liquids + different brand powders! 🥰
What is an affordable gel base and top coat that doesn't yellow or stain, has decent strength to use as dip powder gel method, and isn't too thick or too thin.? Pleeeeease help. I can't use dip liquids anymore. 😭😭😭
So sorry to hear about your allergy to dip liquids 🥺 I personally like the mani boss 2 in 1 gel base and top coat. It’s HEMA free too. I haven’t had any yellowing issues. I do find yellowing can occur with certain lotions or lots of exposure to the sun.

Can you help me find out why my gel top coat turns yellow after curing.
So sorry to hear about your top coat 😭💗 unfortunately sometimes that happens due to sun exposure, sunscreens, lotions, hand washing etc. It’s pretty common 😮💨 I had great luck with the Madam glam top coat I used recently on vacay!
