Hi, don’t suppose you still have that old block ? Doing a KZ conversion and it would be great to use as a mock up for engine mounts and the like.

What happens if you mount a misalign Gigi idle timing gear and run the engine on a 1 kd engine Toyota Hilux ? What symptoms would I experience?
If you're lucky it will run rough or crank without starting. If you're unlucky you'll ruin your engine
Was it using much oil with the bores that smooth?
Not noticably. I changed the oil every 5000kms and never seemed to consume anything
Should be going a little slower in rotation
