    Would this work on marble if I had used a sealant after engaving? I'd like to apply the paint without worry about it seeping into the stone.

    • @LaserManiaOfficial
      @LaserManiaOfficial  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      that is a hard question, slate is a natural stone and it is not polished (as granite) no if you apply paint it will penetrate the non lasered areas as well, I see only 2 options now, either do not apply paint or apply a strong masking that will stay after applying paint and then remove it. I hope it helps

    What do you use to prepare your photos to be lasered?

    • @LaserManiaOfficial
      @LaserManiaOfficial  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Photoshop, the key is to make high contrast images (whites whiter and darks darker), then a little trial and error to adjust the power, there is no magic number nor ONE SIZE FITS ALL, but once you get used to it you can predict: this picture will look better with low power, etc, etc

    • @LaserManiaOfficial
      @LaserManiaOfficial  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If they use some abrasive cleaning procedures, eventually the paint may come off (not completely) but you can definitely reapply it, also keep in mind that even if the paint come off the engraving itself will NOT so you will always have the tile engraved.
