'The Shot' Heard 'Round the State

The Laurel County Cardinals won the 1982 State High School Basketball Tournament with one of the most epic shots in Kentucky State Tournament History. This trailer features many of the players, coaches, cheerleaders and patrons who played major roles in the Cardinals run to the state title! A full-length film documentary will be released later this year.

Let’s tell the life stories of players and fans all leading up to “the shot,” show the person who we are told shoots it get the ball, then cut to everyone celebrating! Then, of course, sponsor mentions. Ok, Sports History Foundation, have we left anything out?
