Let’s tell the life stories of players and fans all leading up to “the shot,” show the person who we are told shoots it get the ball, then cut to everyone celebrating! Then, of course, sponsor mentions. Ok, Sports History Foundation, have we left anything out? What a RIP OFF of a video! 👎

BJP , so good to see your name pop up. You are correct that Charles was a center on the 1963 team. Like all the substitutes with the exception of James Couch, he had limited playing time. He was a starter and huge (pun intended) part of the 1963-64 team. In my opinion he was, inch for inch (5’10’’ in his Chuck’s) one of the best centers in the state, and one of the nicest guys I’ve had the good fortune to know. And what a family! As you know he had a long, successful career at Ford and Gwen is a KY legend. And, as an aside, Ben’s daughter played in a high school band with my daughter many years ago. On a personal note I wish to remind you that you were and continue to be an inspiration. You were always the smartest person in any room and I was just smart enough to appreciate sharing some of those classrooms. Hope you are well.

deprive Charles Rimbert played as center for the 1963 team that won the Lit and yet his name was not mentioned. Also forthe Carr Creek team in the 50's I believe Don Williams was a black player on the team and that one of the hallmarks of a Morton Combs coached team is that it modeled the value of inclusion Still I concur " great job." Thanks Randy and David for the great recap of the 1984 state tournament. The Logan County team and fans have been reliving the magical year we had game by game through newspaper articles. Look for a big increase in viewership of this video after the March 17th, the date of the 1984 championship game. Thanks.

Great job, Randy. Nice to listen in on the 1984 Sweet Sixteen. The last one I attended was in Spring 1952, my senior year at PHS. I see that it hasn't lost any of its excitement. My best to both you and David.

I was trying to remember who our center was, 6'7" anyway then all of a sudden I wanted to know all of those championship players that put the school on the board. I was a 1979 attendee, that year no junk won it but there is five others. It was my question to you if you know. Are 3 championships owed to Dunbar?
