    Landfills should only be used for compostable trash.

    Informative video, but did they really need to keep inserting clips of people’s infants? I don’t get the purpose of that. Like, who is this video for? I would imagine people who want to work in the industry. I don’t really see the point in how this video’s direction is structured in such a way that introducing people’s babies into the footage helps get the message across.
    I’m assuming this is here for educational purposes.

      @@borrainelocharova the reality of saying that these things take 500 plus years to decompose is that it's only a theory based on what the materials are. We haven't had plastic long enough to actually prove it takes that long to decompose. In reality it's not about the health of the earth it's about money and monopoly.

I mean I get it, a few hundred people using cloth diapers probably won’t help much against thousands of people using diapers. But come on now, at least try to care about the one earth we live on… thats like the littlest one always getting shoved and pushed around and saying “so what”. Have a millimeter of sympathy for our planet. Even if there’s nothing you can do atm. Plus you bleach your white clothes and linens anyway, why not just throw them in there? Don’t get me wrong I use disposables too, but I still show I care about the earth in other ways as well. And if the funds call for it, we can go green on diapers too😊

      Are you also using non toxic soaps? Because if you aren't then those soap chemicals will at some point be reexposed to your child. Because of how frequent cloth diapers need washing, the best way to ensure its completely environmentally friendly is finding non toxic soap so we dont end up poluting our water or putting the toxic chemicals in soaps into our ground

    • @theonlyabberdabber
      @theonlyabberdabber ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@shaddow_pet869 Most eco-friendly or plant based detergents (and diaper washing requires detergent, not soap) are not strong enough to effectively clean human waste out of multi-layer diapers. These days, it's impossible to avoid all toxic chemicals, but using cloth diapers does reduce exposure. It's also cheaper and cloth diapers won't be hanging out in a landfill in 500 years.
