I bought a ukelele 3 days ago, never played an instrument in my life. I found a free youtube class and watched only the first lesson then immediately went to this video. So easy to understand and I love this song.

I did this same exact thing on a guitar to see how it would go, but WITH guitar chords of course. I did capo 1, and followed along with the same exact chords. Turned out better than I thought it would.
Due to pandemic, I focused my self to learn, understand, and practice my 2018 ukulele purchased tru YT and this 2022, I enjoy playing my ukulele so much already with my own version of strumming.
Tips: if u want to learn immediately in any instruments u have and u want to practice, use Earphones so you'll listen carefully d sounds and music.... not only learning chords and strumming that u must know, u must learn also d correct sounds of strings

I liked it. I need strumming help for sure. I do wish in the chorus you were more precise when to change cord. Does Em play an entire measure or does it play 1/2 and than C plays half a measure followed by a full measure. I never know how many times to play each cord. In this song were they all only played one time before another cord was played? I can’t watch your hand and play too. At the very end the outdo. I didn’t hear all those cords played. What happened there?

I thought Em is 0432? Is 0402 a variation of Em? How to know which one to use?

Is this GCEA tuning? It sounds way different on my uke.

Bit late but yes. That clip is called a capo and it changes the sound. It is possiblento play the song without the capo but it will sound different
