Honda Ruckus - Full GY6 Swap - Part 5 - Mounting The Rear Tire And Mounting The GY6 On The Frame

- Before we can get the GY6 slapped on to the frame, we first need to mount and stretch the tire onto the rear wheel and then mount the wheel to the engine. After that gets mounted we get the GY6 bolted onto the frame and the rear shock mounted. With the engine mounted to the frame we can reinstall the carburetor and run the correct throttle cable as well as mount up the exhaust to the engine.

The GY6 is the best thing ever, because whatever your project is, all you need to do is mount a swing arm to it and it's motorized. Everything is on it is so robust, well designed and cheap to service.
I’ve really liked my GY6! 😁😁😁
Nice work fellas, I just found this video. Looks great with the simple gray wheels!

You are doing a great job....I live in india i want to do a wider wheel on my scooter aprilia 150 but i dont know how to do a spacer in the rear...can you help me with that...? And the wheel..how to make a custom wheel if i cant get one..
If you want to go to a wider wheel, then you would have to offset the motor mount to center the new wheel. That would usually require a new motor mount, and I do not know if anyone makes one for your bike.
Este suporte de segurar o motor eo amortecedor , como chama , eu acho no mercado livre ?

@Daddy Savage I am currently still running the stock drum brake set up, but I plan on going to disc brakes, hopefully in the near future too.
Sounds like you have some great plan coming! Which rear disc brake set up did you go with?
Nice, when I go to buy one, I was planning on getting it from Rolling Wrench also.
Rolling Wrench is great! I wouldn't be where I am with my bike, if it wasn't for his content.
