- We travelled to the Bear Pit to play table-toppers and Nottinghamshire club cricket Behemoths Cuckney on Saturday.
Our talented overseas player Connor Meistre returned to Johannesburg in the week due to homesickness so we unveiled ex-Windies test ace Kirk Edwards as our new signing!
Expect incisive bowling, MASSIVE sixes and some unadulterated Farmercore!

I love this channel. Great job. After playing cricket in Ozz for 35 years its always a pleasure to watch cricket with an English vibe. Really impressed with the new signing and also how far Cal can hit a ball. He's in very good touch.

Good to see the Wheatley boys gave Kirk some white 80s skinny jeans to play in, what an experience for all 21 players to play with/against an ex test player.
Excuse any typos, typing with a nosebleed as I witness 30+ overs bowled at Wheatley and the 200 barrier passed. Lovely stuff from Kirk, Cal carrying on his rich vein of form with the willow and splendidly rural knock from Joan Hunter-Dunn. Then to top it all...finally....Jono reaps some long overdue rewards with the ball. Whatever next I wonder...?
You can only imagine my surprise, Stanno. Players were looking around in profound confusion. But, now I think of it, Henry did mention he saw a one-footed raven on the same branch of the same tree at the same time for three Tuesdays in a row, so it’s probably summat to do with that.

@WheatleyTV I played in Leicester. Just started playing senior cricket . Playing at Skegness came up against a good leg break bowler lasted 2 balls before I got stumped on the front foot. Given the advice stood me in good stead for the rest of my career
Its great to see international players "shovel" the 8 mile an hour left arm spinner into the leg side.

With the way the weather has been up and down the country, I'm surprised more overseas players haven't gone home. It's unreal how many overseas pros go home for "sudden deaths" in the family and never come back 👀😂

How is Rutherford batting so low? He should be batting much higher, such a waste down the order, the bloke can clearly bat and hit so cleanly
Disappointed the young lad didn't bowl,but the banger bowled 10. Young players need to gave a chance to influence the game.
I was too, but reassured by the fact that Jake is awesome and will get plenty more opportunities to show off his very promising seam bowling on this channel in the years to come.

Quite disappointing to not see jake dickinson get a bowl. Promoted to the first team from the 2nds as a bowler. Have cuckney 116-9 and not bowl him.

Yes, as an opening bat, I found it infuriating to be selected for the team above and get put into bat at #8. Never made any sense.
But I learnt to stick at it and eventually you get your chance.
