Stevie Wonder could see that lbw on the hatrick ball was hitting middle a third of the way up! Questionable conditions to play in tbh, certainly wouldn't have been on in higher level games. Would be great to see the movement on the deliveries from Toby, he needs to bowl from the other end where u are recording from Pecky!!

Used to play against Wheatley in the late 90s early 2000s when my club Cutthorpe were in the Bassetlaw league. Had some excellent battles over the years. Have thoroughly enjoyed finding and watching these videos. Seem to remember there may have been a Loates senior. Love watching Tongy bat. Thanks for the excellent content.

Great English summers sport

Brilliant game of cricket James and Jimmy. What a partneship that was with Luke Tong and Johny Loates. Shame Johny isnt around every game. Comes back after a nice break and nonchantly hits the ball all over the park. Shame for Ani this season, because he just cannot get going. Maybe a drop down the order next season will do him some good. Its been a great summer of entertaining cricket this season at Wheatley, and your coverage is brilliant. Also, you dont give the result away either. Some sites have done this, and then there is no point in watching. All the best for the close season, and hope Mansfield stay up lol

It is a Sunday evening treat to catch up on NWLCC's triumphs and travails. Waterfield filth, play and misses at Jono, the understated brilliance of Cal Harrison (congrats btw) and many more moments. I hope all is well with Toppers and someone finds a cloth to wipe the smudge on Tongy's top lip. My favourite moment of today's game is finding out that 'work' at Jimmy's Bar consists of your erstwhile partner sitting atop a bar stool with a gasper. Winter well, see you next April.

Started watching the channel during the early part of the season to get me through thre dreary NZ winter. What a turnaround from from then till now. You would think it was a completely different side. Well done Wheatley from down under!

Put the pressure on early doors with some really good fielding! Some tough slip catches dropped but overall a really good performance!

I'm glad nurse had been round to give me my shots before I watched that one! Sheesh what a rollercoaster. Languid loveliness from Luke again this week and some ok support from the crew so was relieved to see you had something to bowl at. Good to the Sultan back from his travel and boozling some bambis with the usual filthy fortune but some good wickets and then Toby sticking round the wicket paid off. Nice to see Alex again, always enjoy watching him bat and Mr Archer bowl. Great win guys, it's been a slightly different season with much changing of the guard week to week but as ever....in the words of Maximus Decimus Meridius....."Are you not entertained!!??" Yes General...we damn well were. Those of us about to throw our wicket away salute you.

Brilliant cricket again from Wheatley, and as usual very exciting. Really pleased for Toby Smith for his 5 for. He is almost unplayable these days. Hopefully, he returns again next season, because he is great to watch. Hopefully Kirk Edwards also returns next or at least for part of the season. Keep him away from the bowling though, and let him concentrate on his hundreds lol. His bowling got clobbered on occasions. Looks like you have put a huge dent in Farnsfields promotion hopes too. Its been an up and down season for Wheatley this season, but there have been some brilliant highlights, which easily outdo the occasional batting collapse. All the best

Would have thought by now teams would have adapted to how Cal bats down the order, 1st thing u do is mid on and mid off back to the boundary, leg side up, and have protection at deep extra cover! Toppers slip looked a damn sore one, and on a rock hard late season cricket square theres no "give" at all ! Think most who faces the "leggy" didnt know which way the ball as going !

Toby looks absolutely lethal coming around the wicket - I was backing away in my comfy armchair! You pulled another one out of the bag :)

That is my favourite Wheatley match seen so far. Firstly Edwards who , who needs him lol. Secondly I would pay good money to watch Tongy bat like that, superb and a shame he couldn’t get a really big score. He plays some sublime shots most games but this was the best . Obviously he wasn’t the only one to contribute runs but definitely for me star batsman. Bowling and fielding generally was excellent, as though their lives depended on it. The only negative was three dropped slip catches. The camera work was excellent and I really enjoyed every second. Thank you.

Must admit, I found the large "G"s on the back of the Farnsfield shirts weirdly hypnotic. Long as it's not some sort of occult thing I think it should be fine.
