Love the fairy cage! Even more poetic than a Calder assemblage box. Such a sorry fate for those poor fairies! But Peter Pan would tell you that this is what happens when children stop believing...
Great project with the mirror. The clock cabinet is awesome. Who would have thought to make skeleton butter flies? Amazing! Friend. Best wishes in France, how exciting.
I love this video! The fairy cage is incredible!!!! The spooky mirror is wonderful! The Fall butterfly picture is perfect! Thank you for sharing your talent!🍂🍁🍂🍁
Lynsey, you are Amazing! Your children and grandchildren are so fortunate to have a Creative Soul in the Families Unit! These videos of yours can be viewed and appreciated in the years to come. The Victorian Fairy Box is Epic.🎉❤️👏🎉❤️👏 So excited for your French adventures, bags are packed by the door 😂🇫🇷😂
You’ve definitely given me some ideas for fall. The mirror with the eyes is fabulous! Also looking forward to seeing your house in France! Wishing you well!!!
Wow!! These were sooo STUNNING 😊!! Absolutely gorgeous, vintage, majical & unique !!❤ The fairies piece is my favorite! Well done , my friend 👏. Take care and TFS my friend!!! ❤
I love the old victorian spooky feel of everything that's my style...I love Victorian feel all the time...can not wait till you get to France always wanted to go there I had a change years ago and I could kick myself for not going...
Lynsey, these are fabulous ideas! Love the mirror and the frame. The fabric on the frame is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing videos from France. Thank you for sharing 🙂❤️
Very dark and moody. The fairy cage is stunning and I might actually be able to do the mirror with eyes . Another TH-camr that does similar projects is Tina from a Vision in Vintage Co. Thanks for sharing your creativity and talent with us.
I love the movie practical magic! In fact I'm going to watch that right after this lol I was sitting here cracking up when you were talking about the little fairies you were making 😂 bravo on the clock very nice! Much love from Oklahoma USA Jackie 🇺🇸💖
It’s a great movie, I often laugh because Nichole Kidman and Sandra bullock are the same age as me but I am the only one who has aged since the movie was as made lol
Just brilliant and so full of inspiration! Well done! That clock transformation is beautiful! What a great start for the spooky season! Thank you for sharing this video! Happy fall! 👏🎃👍
I love this dark mystical spooky decor and it reminds me of Obsolete Oddities on YT. His stories are fabulous!! In our Victorian house I set up a table with old chairs and large skeletons sitting around making eyeballs in a red “sauce” with finger parts on the cutting board and rats all around the table. The kids could see it in the foyer as soon as they came up the stairs. So much fun! Birds and nests would look nice in that clock too!
Oh that sounds amazing. Thank goodness see to think once the kids had grown and left Halloween decorations would be a thing of the past , but I decompress now. Lol🎃
Love the mirror. Dry brush tip: don’t go in the pattern of the design. To keep darker groves, highlight raised ridges that are vertical, dry brush horizontally & visa versa. Best wishes!!!
That is awesome! It’s so nice to do something a little different, we are off to witch country in lancashire next week. I’m going to show it closer to Halloween 🎃
Hi Lynsey, I liked everything which you made in this episode. You are very creative and talented. I have one question. Where did you put the battery pack for the fairy lights on the clock? Looking forward to seeing your house in France. You are living my dream.
I did not want this video to end…..and I shall endeavor to recreate your projects as I’m quite sure I have every single item(ish) in my vast stash to work with. I love spooky season…. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤. Fabulous projects - going to look thru your past projects now. Bon voyage 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
I love all three of these projects. I've wanted to try to do something with silver leaf for a long time, but it looks like it sticks to absolutely everything. I just need to bite the bullet and give it try.😊
How absolutely unique you are. I'm so happy I have found you. Your talents is so whimsical. I love your sweet and peaceful voice. I wish you so many adventures you love. Continue to create a wonderful for us all. Your new Sub. Barb in Oklahoma. Born in England.

17:12 The shadow box could still be a clock. Just put in some clock works on the round face. Use glow in the dark hands or paint them. It would be a beautiful addition.
I think the “something scratching it’s way out of a mirror” might work better if the scratches were a a little longer? Use your fingertips to figure out what it would look like if you tried to scratch at the glass and use a frisked/temporary paint resist material, then use a metallic silver paint to get a more reflective mirror surface. Peel off the frisked and you have your realistic scratches! Alternatively, you could use some image transfer medium to put the printed eyes directly on the glass, then put the mirror finish behind them so it looks a little more like a face appearing somewhere it shouldn’t be
Thanks so much for the great tips👍 yes my scratches very very weak lol. I will make another bigger version when I get home and try what you said 🤗 thanks again
We definitely have the same level of halloween spook to our decorating style. I love the little victorian dall you did a couple years back. Ive been looking for the right dall to make one myself. The fairy cage, wow! That really turned out!! Love it. Remember the little anodized metal shaped Modle T vehicles that were music boxes. I always thought they were kind of creepy all by them selves but I started decorating them with the little skeletons posed in rambunctious positions. Well, thanks for another fun halloween video and I really hope you might have time to make another befor or during October.
Not 12 Grimmauld place for Halloween? It's so perfect, Love! This was a great video. My family is throwing a Victorian Halloween party this year. Our home is spooky Victorian all year so the party will match. Bella L
