You are doing so good post neck creature removal! You don’t even sound like you are struggling when you walk/film. I’m so happy for you!! You sure packed a ton of fun/nostalgic sights into one day. Enjoy the rest of your trip!
Hey Tony, I was ill and housebound for a week and woke up Sat to this video. Your video lifted me up and I felt like I get to get out and go on a tour of Hollywood. Thank you for taking me along with you and pulling me out of my doldrums. I love your "on and off cruise" videos. Thank you for taking us along! Great job - keep it up 😊
Yes, $12 is definitely worth it. I live in Northern California for over 50 years and your video visited places I never bothered to experience. Thank you for the tour, I enjoyed it immensely.
I’ve toured Hollywood again through your videos! Including Greek observatory! And I don’t have to drive and battle traffics, pay for parking and better yet look for a restroom! Thank you! Great videos! Thank you! Tony!
Oh my that fried chicken looks sooooo good!! Thx Tony for the walk around. I cant wait until l cruise on the Sun Princess and participate in the Spellbound event🙂🚢
I live in Los Angeles and I never go to Hollywood Blvd or The Observatory. I'm going now. Thank you Tony. You guys make my hometown look sooo good! Come back soon with the lovely Jenny B.
I have been so many places on cruises, but never to California which is where i have always said I would go first since the age of 12! Thank you for taking us with you! Fulfilling the dream!🎉 virtually, but still.❤
As a teen being raised in North Hollywood, we used to cruise Hollywood Blvd. practically every weekend……it was so fun and so cool…I’m talkin’ the 60’s……man those were the days!! Have fun Tony! Oh, and it’s pronounced Pan-tay-jas theater…..
They hang black curtains along the entranceway and stairs up to the Dolby theater to block the stores, etc. but that is indeed where the Oscar attendees enter from the red carpet.
Love ya Tony!! I agree that it's up to the cruiser to find out what needs to be documented before your cruise. Most people who have a disability research well ahead of time to find out what is needed.
Thanks for sharing your trip through LA. I was born and raised in Southern CA and moved to AZ 10 years ago. Your trip brought back good memories for me 😊
A year and a 1/2 ago, we stayed at the Lowe's Hotel with a view of the Hollywood sign right out our window. It's cool to watch a video that make you say... I was there! I remember that!!
Loved this vid! Born & raised in LA area, great to see all these places. Went to Planetarium often as a kid, first job across st from Graumans Chinese... Hungry Tiger was street floor of my job, saw my only Streaker run thru there early 70s! Lol. Hamburger Hamlet is probably gone, Went to Farmers Mkt but its very small now. La Brea Tar Pits often. Chinatown, Olvera St, Mulholland Dr to Benedict Canyon...into the Valley and Burbank. Forest Lawn Art, back then Travel Town trains, antique MerryGoRound in Griffith park , ride mini train n horses ... Glad i grew up there!! but glad i left in '95.
I’ve lived in the Los Angeles area for over 50 years. You did a good job on your walking tour! The Chinese Theater was originally Grauman’s Chinese. I remember when I first saw John Wayne’s hand and footprints I was surprised to see how small his feet were. Then I realized he was wearing high heeled cowboy boots... duh. Of course they looked small!
Been absolutely loving your videos visiting LA! Love how you travel- getting in so many great places in one day and including those bucket list food places too!
Our first trip overseas from Australia 2014. We had such a hard time with street hawkers that we missed so much on the walk of fame. Thank you for this video. I really enjoy your relaxed take.
It's kind of funny to see this from a tourists POV. I grew up just west if Venice, CA and never went there. Didn't have any interest. And now, Tony, you are showing it all to me. Thx, man.
Trivia: I lived in Long Beach, CA when I was about 3 years old while my dad built houses to make money to go to college. I do remember bits and pieces....a great big "house" that was divided into apartments. And I have a photo with all my little friends at my birthday party. My sister and I were the only "gringas" in the picture. All my little friends were Hispanic. I love that picture!
At Hollywood and Highland (open air part) pre pandemic there was an amazing Italian restaurant you would have loved their food. Sad when our son said they were gone. 😢
I've been to Hollywood many times but I always love seeing the Walk of Fame and sidewalk in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Call it what you want it's Grauman's😂. It's always exciting to see the footprints and names of the stars. Loved it! Thankyou
Hi Tony. Loved seeing your California adventures! So many things checked off the bucket list. You're so right. Thing's you've seen on TV and at movie's. Finally getting to see it for yourself. Pretty cool! Uber, $12, definitely worth it. As always thank you for all you do.
Don’t get me wrong… I LOVE me some cruise news, but I really really really love these vlogs when you’re travelling & eating. What a wonderful trip you guys had. Shout out to Steve. Thanks for bringing us along Tony ☺️
What a terrific video today! Watched every bit of it and can relate to what you were saying about the signatures etc. Hope to see more of these videos 😊 Theresa
Up until literally 5 days ago I lived about 1 mile to the west on Hollywood Blvd, for the last 20 years...and I always sorta rolled my eyes about the tourist section of the Blvd, but this video made me see it in a whole different way!! I shouldn't have been so cynical and walked down the street more often to visit that section. Same for Pinks. But never tired of Griffith Park and the Observatory...it's beautiful (nor the nearby Hollywood Bowl, the greatest experience in SoCal!). Thanks!
When I was a kid growing up in LA, what you called Mann's Chinese Theater (now TCL Chinese Theater) was called Grauman's Chinese Theater. Way back then--in 1940s--it was approachable without crowds, as was all of what you walked through in Hollywood. Loved seeing once again the Foucault Pendulum in the Griffith Observatory. Been there several times, first as a 5-year-old and been an astronomy buff ever since.
Wow, this sure brought back a lot of memories for when we lived in SoCal... Broadway musicals at the Dolby and the Pantages (Pan-tay'-jes), Magic Castle dinner & show, Griffith Observatory laser show, company Christmas party at the Roosevelt Hotel... thanks for the nostalgia! Glad you enjoyed your packed day of adventure. Also, good choice flying Long Beach Airport and avoiding crazy LAX 👍
You a two are adorable having a blast in Cali enjoying the sights and food. Just sayin. I love how you think you’re nerding out. I have been down there in Hollywood to those places and more many times and still get excited about it, so much to see and do. Pan-tay-jus Theater. Many great musicals and plays there. “Worth it, worth it”. “I’m not trying to tear up”. ❤Robert Duval. Never been to Funko store and it looks freaking awesome. I am having so much fun just watching this. Now I am nerding out. Ha. Thanks for the memories. And, your fun vids. Seriously enjoyed this.
Tony fantastic video of how to tour La. I am born a raised here in la (over age 70) and with the exception of Del taco you did a great job of hitting icons in la county. When you return we need you to hit the original Tommy’s chili burgers ,Philip French dip s and for Mexican ❤Olivera st. We have done this 4 day cruise on Royal also.
I have lived in California for all of my 55 years on the planet, minus time in the military, and have been through Hollywood/LA countless times. You have been to more of the sights in one day then I have my whole life 🤣😂
Love the old man problems references! Believe me, it’s no different for older women. My sisters and I have the mantra when traveling..Never pass up an opportunity!
Ohhhh I so remember crusing Main St back in the early 70's in Victorville CA, and turning around at DelTaco. . . and getting DT to eat. NOW here in OKC, OK. . .we have Del Taco and I make the drive for their yummy food!!!
Next time you are in long Beach, you should hit up the original LA farmers market. You were actually REALLY close when you saw the Hollywood sig-n and magic castle. Tons of food options and shopping.
Regarding the stairs going up to the Dolby theater.... Yes, they do red carpet walk-ups to the theater. No, you don't see the shops due to draping that covers that view. One thing you didn't mention is the staircase has stairs that aren't as tall as usual steps. Why? Because of the ladies in their heavy sequined gowns. To help the women climb the steps, the stair height is shortened so they aren't lifting the added weight as high with each step.
WooHoo! That was fun! It's been a minute (2017) since I've been to La La Land so I truly enjoyed your video! Will you have time go check out the Queen Mary docked at Long Beach? It's haunted, you know. Yes, Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles is an institution. And so is Pink's Hot Dogs. If you have another day and more time, take a drive in Mulholland Drive, truly one of the most scenic 21 miles that will yield breathtaking views of the city, San Fernando Valley, and the Pacific Ocean. Mulholland has been featured in TV, movies, ads and videos. There's a cemetery full of famous celebrities, bit I can remember the name. And there's Rodeo Drive, Melrose, Abbot Kinney, and Olvera. You've got to go back with Jenny B. Well, you saw quite a bit in one-day. Thanks for taking us along with you.
Sure nice seeing steve out and about. You two do look like a couple trouble makers🤣. Glad you’re having a great time and keep up the amazing content. We love watching✌️
Hi Tony really glad to see you are both having a great time you guys are eating some great food, don't forget to try Du-pars they have fantastic breakfast there, stay safe and God Bless.
Scum and villainy is an amazing Star Wars themed bar that you would’ve loved. Sad you didn’t go in. The guy that owns/operates it is a great guy. Worth going out of your way for.
You are doing so good post neck creature removal! You don’t even sound like you are struggling when you walk/film. I’m so happy for you!! You sure packed a ton of fun/nostalgic sights into one day. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Hi Tony! Old man problems but a child at heart! Love traveling with you and sharing these great times!!
$12 is well worth it! I loved seeing all the handprints, Stan Lee's made me tear up! Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Tony, you have become a great vlogger. You are comfortable with filming and having fun. It shows! Thanks for another great one.
It's the original Grauman's Chinese Theater.
Yes, $12 is definitely worth it. I live in Northern California for over 50 years and your video visited places I never bothered to experience. Thank you for the tour, I enjoyed it immensely.
At Hollywood and Vine, each corner has circular plaques that are dedicated to the Apollo 11 astronauts.
Thanks for the cruise news and your views
Thank you, Tony! I am glad you, and your brother in law, had a wonderful cruise and visit to California.
I've lived in california for over 60 years and haven't been to all the places you've been to in a few days. Thanks, Tony!!!!
Omg! Del Taco! I am laughing!!! So many amazing places in LA! Next trip ask for some advice😄
I live in Los Angeles and I never go to Hollywood Blvd or The Observatory. I'm going now. Thank you Tony. You guys make my hometown look sooo good! Come back soon with the lovely Jenny B.
You really packed a lot of sightseeing on this day! I moved here 11 years ago and still haven't seen several spots you stopped at today!
I have been so many places on cruises, but never to California which is where i have always said I would go first since the age of 12! Thank you for taking us with you! Fulfilling the dream!🎉 virtually, but still.❤
2071 Best Picture will be “Shout Out,” a Luda biopic done in a retro manga style.
Lol
Thanks. Great overview of Hollywood's most famous street.
Pan-tay-"jus"
Tony, looking great since your operation! Even your voice has changed and sounds better! ❤
Love that you enjoyed Southern California. I live in Orange County and love visiting LA and San Diego. You made the best of it all!
I absolutely loved watching you and your bro-in-law experience my neck of the woods. Thank you for the fabulous video!!
I was nodding about “old man problems” until you said you’d be 100 in 2071. I graduated from high school in 1971. Man!
I graduated in 1971, too! I thought to myself, Tony is a young whipper snapper.
Me, too, class of ‘71!
I got married in ‘71. Graduated from high school the best year in the whole century: ‘69. 🤭
Graduated and married 1971
Me too … it was just the other day

Enjoying the mental meanderings of an interesting mind! also enjoying the foodie choices❤️
Thanks for sharing your trip through LA. I was born and raised in Southern CA and moved to AZ 10 years ago. Your trip brought back good memories for me 😊
Nice tour. Pat Morita lived here in LasVegas many years and frequently parked his car in Valet(golden Nugget) most Friendly & generous.
The Greek Theater is the very best concert venue ever! Glad you had such a wonderful time in the Hollywood area and Griffith Park.
Nice walk around. So cool to see the old school movie stars. Love that era

Awesome video! The fact that you can walk 13,000 steps in one day is amazing. I think you are healthier than you are aware.
I lived out there for fifteen years and never saw as much as you did in one day.
Such a fun video! Thanks for taking us on the tour in LA!
Been absolutely loving your videos visiting LA!
Love how you travel- getting in so many great places in one day and including those bucket list food places too!
Tony, in Pantages, the second "a" is long. LOL. I love my city. Thanks for the adventures. I hope you enjoyed your visit.

One of your greatest videos of all time…… great big thanks
Thank you for taking me long with you! It was GREAT😊
That’s like walking the Vegas Strip! Everything looks so close yet it’s miles away! Go see the LaBrea Tar Puts!

Wow! What a full day!! Been to all those places I love LA so much to do, love the videos

I was hoping you would go to Pinks for lunch! Last time I was on Hollywood Blvd was in the 60’s. It’s come a long way since then.
What a fun trip for you and Steve!
Your experiences in Hollywood, e.g. the Walk of Fame and Pink’s, reminded me of my visit there 5 years ago. Cool!
A new Del Taco is opening soon in Pt Charlotte Fl! Can't wait! It is on 41. Glad you had a great trip!

Omg the Sizzler talk continues!!! I burned my arm on the fry basket when I was flipping the chicken wings…seriously scarred for life from that job 😂
PanTAYges Theater. They used to hold the Oscar awards there.

This was a cool tour of LA thank you for sharing
Thanks for sharing and posting!!!
Good Evening Tony. I am catching up on your videos that I missed while I was off last week on the NCL Encore
How many times did you make me laugh during this video? I lost count. LOVE your sense of humor. 😄
Epic episode! Thank you Tony!!

Looks like you guys had a blast!
I just watched Junior Master Chef and the kids had to cook 25 dinners at the Magic Castle!!! I really do need to check out LA.
Too bad you ego to The Magic Castle… we were there in December…WOW what an AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!
Love the Sizzler and sure do miss it. 🙂 Thanks for the tour because I will probably never visit so this is as close as I will get.
Love the old man problems references! Believe me, it’s no different for older women. My sisters and I have the mantra when traveling..Never pass up an opportunity!

Tony, you rule!!!
You really got a lot of ground covered in LA. I grew up there and have never been to the observatory! Well done.
Wow, that ceiling mural in the observatory!
Sure nice seeing steve out and about. You two do look like a couple trouble makers🤣. Glad you’re having a great time and keep up the amazing content. We love watching✌️
