@@melindamuller4466 out of the remakes I like druck and skam france equally because I feel like you can't really compare them. skam France is the best at retelling the og story, but druck being so different makes it just as great imo
I can tell you that as a french person the show is actually pretty bad to be honest. I am a big fan of skam, but it this one the dialogues are very very cringe, and overall the whole thing is clearly not a good representation of a teenager living in France. It really makes me sad though, and i get that international fans like it, but yeah the whole thing is pretty cringe and hard to watch, you can feel it has been written by a 40 years old white man, and that most of the actors have finished highschool for few years.
@@mauve7973 it's very interesting to hear the perspective of a french person. when watching it with english subtitles, the dialogue seems pretty normal. it's good that you clarify that it isn't a good representation of french teenagers, because sometimes while watching it I was like: "damn I didn't realise my view of french teenagers was that wrong".
The cinematography and the music in S3 is just EPIC.
Thanks for the review. Axel and Maxence are both brilliant young actors. I feel that they went beyond acting and truly created "alter egos" in Lucas and Eliott. My fav are prob the piano scene and the paint/mural scene...though episode 9 is wonderful as well. Enjoy and looking forward to more reviews of this season.

THIS SEASON WAS SO WELL CASTED, DIRECTED AND THE MUSIC WAS PERFECT. I LOVED THE THE IN-DEPTH OF IT and HOW DIFFERENT THEY ARE and HOW IT SEEMS LIKE IT DOESNT EVEN LOOK A LIKE REMAKE
The fact that you can feel the difference with the previous seasons is due to the director, David Hourrègue, who joined the team for season 3 ^^ He is amazing and he was allowed to do whatever he wanted with the show.
Edit: my bad guys, he was already working on seasons 1&2 but he really had the freedom to do what he wanted from season 3 (with the gigantic help of the new head writer, Niels. They're an amazing team and great human beings lol)

david was there the whole time, but they added a new dop and a new head writer, and they're all gay and really care about the gays, they really wanted s3 to be a new start

Love from France! I'm so glad this remake travels overseas. This is honestly the best lgbt story I ever saw in my life. It made me cry a lot and fall in love with those characters. I'm so happy so many people love it, are moved by it, feel that it helps them go through life. And yes, I would love to see more videos of your reactions to this season.
This season is my favourite Skam season ever, because it's been a while since I'd been able to identify with a character like I did with Lucas, I love him to pieces. Also, the love story between Lucas and Eliott is perfection, I can't get enough of them and I don't think this is going to change. In fact, I don't think any TV or movie couple has ever impacted me like these two.

This season has so many great moments I don't even know which one I'm most excited to see you reacting to. But the piano scene in episode 2 and the paint scene in episode 7 are definitely a MUST! I obviously really really wanna see another video with more highlights from the season (pretty please! *puppyface* ).
It's hard to pick favorite episodes for a season as good as this but if I had to for me personally it would be episodes 2, 4, 7 and 10! :)
This season is such an upgrade from S1 and S2 of Skamfr and not simply because it's a S3 remake but because it's genuinely amazing. It's actually my personal favorite season of all Skams. It's such a great example of why, to me, what makes a great remake-season is not necessairily making the *biggest* changes, it's about making *good* changes and adding/removing stuff depending on what makes sense for the characters and their version of the story/the themes they wanna touch on.
This season is literally so epic, I can’t wait for you to watch the rest

I just wrote something like this in the original last episode bit for E9. I’m 34 years old, I stumbled across Skam France a while ago and I thought it beautiful, precious... I just found out today, after going through a very rough psychotic attack yesterday that I’m going through the same as Elliot. I never imagined that this series and this season in particular would be very close to home.

when you mentioned the weight of it!! I feel like skam france might have been the heaviest adaptation when it comes to the Isaks (maybe just for the exception of druck). The other remakes did have times that I suffered more with the story as a whole, but with Lucas I was always on edge and so so worried for him, it felt like the weight on his shoulders was with me too.
