- We're excited to say, "Aloha!" to the first 'Ohana by Hawaiian® ATR-42 turboprop aircraft, which arrived to the Honolulu International Airport this afternoon. The livery, inspired by a traditional Hawaiian fabric called kapa, was designed by renowned Hilo artist Sig Zane and his son Kuha'o. The transformation from Sig's vision to the first aircraft soaring above our islands was a remarkable one, which we captured in this video.

Ha! I know some of these people lol. This is in Amarillo
I paint that airplane
Too bad this isn’t the new livery with the flowers and mica added 😉
here is a plane i recommend to you Hawaiian Airlines the Boeing 787-9
And how many i think you should order 16+ these will replace the 767s which are a bit long on the tooth ( Age )
The reason i have thought of this is because the 767s especially the 20+ year old ones .
They already have Airbus A330s, plus A330neos and A320neos on the way in the next few years.
cruman87 One slight correction: they ordered A321neos, not A320neos. ;)
+Airline Flyer
Correct
Jo Tyers they already ordered 10 Boeing 787 to replace the current order of the a330neo and they're going to order 10 more options as well be delivered by 2021
Does anyone know who painted this aircraft?
Leading Edge Aviation Services, this was done in the Amarillo base
