NIRF ranking is not the good criteria to rank a college from students perspective The ranking is like: 1:tirchy 2:surat kal 3:warangal 4:allahabad 5:rourkela 6:calicut 7:nagpur 8:surat 9:jaipur 10: kurukshetra 11:silchar
There is a slight corrigendum...regarding placements... Placements of a NIT affected by 2 factors. 1. Some who preferred to pursue higher studies opt out of placements process. So you won't get to see 100% placements. 2. There are few who opt out of placements process due to other reasons as well. So placements percentages showed here never indicates any negatives of the institutes. Institutes mentioned here are world class institutions. Good video

Bhai as a guy from NIT Trichy, Only dream about 20 LPA if you can get 9 CGPA 😂. Anyways for your info I can tell around 10 out of 100 in CSE get paid around that much. They are placed in companies like Microsoft, Amazon and Goldman Sachs. These companies mostly come for interns in 3rd year and offer PPO based on your performance in the internship. Its very hard. 10-15 LPA is a rather achievable range for CSE placements.

Yeah you should go through cut off ranks ..For students in north it is b/w mnnit allahabad and mnit jaipur and in south it will be nit warangal trichy surathkal calicut.. rest all nits are also Ok but if you got high rank in jee advanced prefer nits according to this rest you can search on internet.. If you are from computer science then 10 Lpa is average package, in all other branches it is rare only PSUs offer more than 10-15 Lpa

It totally depends on you. NITs will give you a platform, an opportunity, nothing else. They don't guarantee placements.
