Oh my god she's gorgeous! I love her, with all the practice it really payed off, maybe you can give your your Crysta and cat girl another try. Also you can always keep on practicing on the dress. You can always ask Diana Doll Fairy about clothes or Dollightful. See you next time.
I watched this movie so much as a kid that the rest of my family hates it. It's great, it's dreamy. It's a treasure. Favorite scene...Easily when Molly first sees the unicorn. GOD! Tammy Grimes KILLED with the line delivery, it's so heartbreaking.
I love The Last Unicorn!! The theme song was what played when I walked the stage at my college graduation!! haha. This turned out lovely! Her face up looks beautiful!
for your third dress you did a magnificent job! remember - like Jake the Dog says, sucking at something is the first step to being good at something, and you're getting good at it when it comes to bust darts i like to sew the shoulders together and tack the bottom of the bodice together, fit it on the doll, and adjust the darts as i need them - it can be tricky on a smaller doll, but like everything it just takes practice i also hand sew the darts and other shorter seams, but that's just because it's easier for me
My grandmother used to make porcelain dolls. I used to watch her make the clothes all the time. My advice is to invest in a babylock serger (this will stop fraying fabric and help keep edges straight). The other thing is that the upside to working on dolls is that you can turn the garmet inside out and sew/alter the thing while it's on them with hand sewing. I think she's beautiful. I know that sometime in the 80s as a child, I did see this but I don't remember much about it.
she looks really good and congrats on the sponsership im so excited for you!!! also about the camera at like 15:30, you could consider trying to shoot from an angle instead of from straight on? my suggestions would be to adjust it to the right so it can sort of shoot under your hand, and then maybe also up or down to get a better view a lttle diagram that might help me make my point camera hand / / / / / / doll

I love this movie as a kid. I watched again this year and i still love it. The art style is truly amazing and colorful. She came out so pretty. My favorite scene in the movie basically any scene with the unicorn.😊🦄🦄🦄
This was my sister and I's favorite movie when we were little, we watched it like every day! As a Last Unicorn super fan, I think you absolutely nailed it. Favorite scene, probably anything with the pirate cat? Or the drunk skeleton? She's gorgeous!
I'm a leftie too! 😊 you could try pointing the camera towards you to the right side instead of over what your doing!! We're all basically doing things mirrored with the righties
Loved this movie as a child & love that you made this doll, she's super cute..🩷🩷 She kinda looks like a fancy Jem doll & I love it ..💓 I believe I have/had those same pattern print outs that used for making Barbie sized dresses when I was a kid. If theyre the same it's good to see that they're still around. I notice that the "Disney" dolls while the same height as "Babribe", they do have different body proportions so you might have to change the patterns a tiny bit so they fit correctly. While they say they're made for 11" dolls they aren't made for dolls with any "curves", so things tend to look bulky. For wigs that maybbe a tiny bit "too big" i like to put them on the doll ill be using them on inside out and then pinch it to the correct size then sew it together by hand so it fits right.. then you can cut the excess off.
I could kiss you for this! ❤ this movie is deeply entrenched in my personal aesthetic and nostalgia stream. Very much the same, it had such an impact on my style of drawing growing up.
Te quedó hermosa, tienes un talento digno de admirar pero si me permite dar una opinión, debería transformar muñecas un poco maltratadas en lugar de nuevas, así salvará juguetes necesitados. ❤
Have you thought of having an apprentice when it comes to doll repaints? Can you do a vampire doll custom?Has anyone thought of doing something like Lavendertowne drawing characters based on their book descriptions I thought someone should do that but with dolls. What I mean is making a doll based on book descriptions for example Lavendertowne drawing Coraline characters based on book descriptions as in what they physically look like. Can you make a creepypasta character as a doll? Can you do a horror movie character?

The Last unicorn was by Rankin-Bass, the folk who made all those great stop-motion holiday specials.

I just got a notification for this rn and it was posted two days ago. I love lady Amalthea
The Last Unicorn was the very first movie I ever saw in a movie theatre. Yes, I am that old.
I love this movie!!!!! Always liked it since I was a kid too. I think my favorite scene is when she turns human
Aaaaa it's so beautiful !! :,,D 💙
Very cute 😀
When Molly breaks down after meeting the unicorn. That sticks with me hard.
OMGG YESSS!!!! I love!
YEAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
She looks gorgeous!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
In regards to your sewing machine, have you checked if you have a local sewing machine shop to see if they do tuneups?
waittt i love that movie ❤
I watched this movie when I was 5 or 6 and the only thing I really remember about it was how depressed and pissed off Amalthea was the whole time.
Very impressive, yes.
I love how an 80s character has pockets in her dress in the film lol
I have a beautiful tattoo of Amalthia covering the back of my forearm. One of my favourite tattoo's ever.
I dub your sewing machine Ol Bessie
