I have endless sensation of boredom out of them. It´s good to have a variety of opinions. Am I wrong? Jeez, what a waste of time and space this people are...
@Lauren Broughton, Of course, as you should if that pleases you. I'm making no campaign against people enjoying what they do. I just don't like them. That´s all
@@tomadams911 Unlike your opinion, which there was a clamour for, of course. You must be tired of people asking you for it here... Have to disagree, the original when listened to in the album just hits different while this version is better in crowds I still prefer listening to the Beatles version while have a cold beer in the backyard.
I was there, and can confirm we definently did, particularly as a bunch of other musicians and bands had just been introduced onto the stage... then he said "and the rolling stones" and we knew they wern't coming on. haha.
I was like "HOLY FUCK A PERFORMANCE I HAVENT SEEN BEFORE ?!" I'd assume so in a song called "A little help from my friends." He was calling them to join him lmfao
I love that they headlined after their second album. I know Stormzy , oasis and the smiths did too but people ridiculed this wonderful band for being wannabe farmers.
Yea bro, they covered this song late back then, and someone asked Paul what are your thoughts on Joe cocker version of this sond , he smiled and said it's his song now. What they are covering here is Joe cocker version
I was talking to Joanna from First Aid Kit in 2014 and she said they recorded a version of this song with Mumford & Sons but it hasn’t been released. :(
Thx for uploading. If you have a second come watch my cover of Fleetwood Mac - I'm an independent artist and think you might dig my sound. Really appreciate it!
This was enjoyable at the time but ever since finding out about Mumford being besties with a far right Canadian professor this now does look more cringey
Mumford : “If people take that as an endorsement of his politics, that upsets me because I disagree with a lot of his politics” Lovett: “Having a swipe is a fun sport - for some reason, him having a photo with Russell Brand was not so interesting" I really doubt having a photo and debate/discussion with someone makes them besties my guy
They don't add anything new or better to the Joe Cocker version of the tune. Just pretentious formulaic imitators. Bleeding rubbish, if you ask me. Loads of noise but not new substance.
-What would you do if I sung out of tune, would you walk out on me? -Pretty much, yeah. Even if you sing in tune I'm still fucking off from here. this minute... I can tell you that much....
Can’t believe it’s been almost 10 years of this amazing performance 🥹
Love the pink trombone and that you are doing a song that is older than any of you are - the timelessness of music!
just seeing everyone feeling the music, having fun and a good time gives me the chills! that was amazing! especially in these times it's helping a lot
Somewhere, about halfway up the hill is a ten years younger me. This was such a perfect end to the festival.
I wanna see the whole show, it's amazing 🥰 Love Mumford and sons.
Greatest ending of a Glasto ever!!
Ah, the one with Vampire Weekend. I remember this.
you can play a any song by the Beatles everywhere and the crowd goes mad.... love & peace
And that, my friends, is how you close a concert 😁
Being a big Joe cocker fan very good version

Love the Beatles, love Vampire Weekend, I'm a fan of some of Mumford and Sons tracks, I really dig this like I mean where can you go wrong?
Well this version is Joe Cocker version which for my opinion is far better than the original.

I wonder how much of the crowd know this is the Joe Cocker live at Woodstock version?. I hope they find it ☺️
Yes

If they released an album of all their cover songs, that would be way better than their last two albums.
Excuse me, Delta is a masterpiece 🙌
What are the lyrics of this song?
It’s about drugs
Wow Mr Joe Coker would love this !! ~freaky freaky papi~
That sounds a lot like the arrangement Joe Cocker sang at Woodstock.
I see Mike Kerrrrrr.

This looks / sounds like an end-of-year performance from some kind of awful dance/drama college. Todays so called rockstars are an embarrassment.
To be fair, they're not rock stars. They're awesome at what they do, appeasing the masses and raking it in.
Embarrassment? You have terrible taste. This was awesome.
@@madcircle0461 It's middle of the road mum rock.

I love Mumford and Sons, but I don’t feel this is one of their best - there’s just too much going on! Is there a cover with just M and Sons?
@@barbarapybus5660 are you basing that off of the original Beatles song or the famous Joe Cocker cover? Cause this is a cover of Joes version
