the whole album is dedicated for the fans, they literally had a comeback despite enlistment hiatus because they know we miss them too much during these times. so even tho minseok and kyungsoo just finished their military service in dec and january, and chanyeol and baekhyun left on march and may, they prepared the album for us among all the solo schedules that they have.
just as usual is indeed a song for the fans, they have always told us exols that they would protect us.

But as you can see, they're all capable on each positions.

@@resurgingflame they actually don't have any official position in EXO especially now that they are nine members. In EXO-K, Kai is the main dancer while Sehun and D.O. is the lead dancer. Yes, D.O. is part of the dance line and a main vocalist too. Chanyeol is the main rapper and Baekhyun was the main singer like D.O. Suho as a lead vocalist.
But ever since they became a one big group, they don't have any official positions now. That's why I can say that Sehun is considered as a main dancer along with Kai and Lay.
In my opinion, they don't really have official positions anymore since there are many changes in the group as years pass by.

Chanyeol has one of the most emotionally raw vocals I’ve heard. You can feel the emotions behind the song SO WELL when he sings! I’d recommend you listen to his solo track “Tomorrow”, his OSTs from his movie “The Box” (it’s a musical) and definitely EXO SC’s (Sehun-Chanyeol subunit) albums, you’ll get to hear how beautiful Sehun and Chanyeol sound both as rappers and vocalists. Also, Chanyeol and Sehun wrote, produced and composed their subunit’s albums.
Caitlin😭😭😭😭😭 oh girl, wait until you hear Chen (the main vocalist) and Suho (another amazing vocalist and the leader)'s singing in another album, they didn't participated in this one because they're in the military right now.
And thank you so much for appreciated Chanyeol and Sehun's singing voices. Because even as exo fans, some of them really discredit their singing voices, just because SM didn't gave them enough portion to sing in the title song. I hope you would react to exo sub unit too, like exo-sc (SehunChanyeol) and exo-cbx (ChenBaekhyunXiumin). Chanyeol alone has a lot of song (solo project and OST drama/movie) yeah real singing not rapping.
Loving the sehun praises as he deserves, people are always sleeping on him and his so freaking talented.

This special album is really special. This is like a welcome album for the 2 members who were back from the military and a goodbye album for 2 members that enlisted. They shoot the mv on Xiumin's Birthday, 3 days before Chanyeol leaves for the military.
We got to have Lay sing with them after how many years, we got to hear the rap line sing too. I'm glad that you enjoyed this album. 💕

DFTF it's just an album that feels so personal.
Starting with "Don't Fight The Feeling", a song that is impossible to listen to and not dance to, gives you all the energy to keep going.
"Paradise" It is one of my favorites! the lyrics stick very easily in your head and D.O ATE THAT UP!
"No Matter" the chorus is just great this is one of the genres I love the most with exo vocals.
"Runaway"... It also made me think that it was for the fandom, as if they told us that we escaped with them from everything that is happening around. The song transports you to another world, excellent work in the production!
D.O said that "Just as usual" was a message for exol and the lyrics definitely hit close to home. These guys have been through a lot this past year, I admire them so much 🥺💜

D.O. is just the best vocalist. his warm rnb voice, his raspy high notes and beautiful falsetto. all his adlibs and runs throughout the whole album, I'm so glad hes back and he wont be gone since he was in the military already!
The main vocalist are Baekhyun, D.O and Chen (inactive because of his military enlistment) but all the members can actually sing even the two main rappers (Chanyeol and Sehun). They are the Kpop's Kings of vocal ❤️.

Don’t fight the feeling album charted number 6 on BB world charts without promotion and they had 3 wins without promotion. I would want to say they are truly a successful and legendary group!! They don’t have to be the most popular because popularity will fizzle out one day. What they are doing is for the long term and I believe they will be that group who stays together for a long time. Their love for EXO-L, passion for music and performances, close brotherhood with one another are truly unbreakable amen.. WE ARE ONE.

Yeah EXO always seems to deliver good b-sides. If I had to pick a few boy groups to listen to their discography on repeat forever, it would have to be DAY6, EXO, and TXT. They all have consistent quality and good diversity of music.

Compared to their other albums, this is definitely their weakest. It‘s still an enjoyable pop album, but you can tell that it was quickly thrown together. At the end of the day it was a gift for fans. :) In this album Baekhyun‘s falsetto was the star!
It's the weakest only bcus there are 5 songs in it. But the quality of each song in this album is REALLY good. Other EXO main cb albums has more songs but usually, half of the songs in those albums are musically exceptional while the other half is just.... well nice, but nothing too incredible or experimental.
At 6:02 the adlibs were done by d.o. and the first part of the second chorus was actually kai, not xiumin. Xiumin sings on the second part of the second chorus. And the high runs in the la da da da part thingy, it was also done by d.o. . I love your reactions, please keep on doing these types of videos!!
Just As Usual is actually a message for the EXO-Ls. They never forget to show their gratefulness towards the fans 😭 And Xiumin is known for being the ACE member of EXO. He can be anything. LITERALLY. He dances and sings so well that he can be both a main vocalist and a main dancer. The 3 main vocalists are Baekhyun, D.O., and Chen. But Chen is currently in the military so he couldn't participate in this album, same as Suho. Well, everyone in this group is a MAIN VOCALIST. You really made my day. 😂❤️ I've been an exo-l since pre-debut era (2011) and I always love seeing baby eris join us. 10 years later, EXO still makes my heart flutter everytime I listen to their songs.
In Paradise, the high notes were being done by Baekhyun, adlibs mostly by D.O and Kai had the lead vocal on the first part of the second chorus followed by Xiumin... sometimes the lyric videos aren't the best in finding who's singing what, but i hope that helps :)

This is such a feel good album, and I love that EXO wanted to give such a happy gift to us while we go through the worst stretch of enlistment (92 line has 3 members...more than any other year). Thank you so much for appreciating each and every member's unique voice and contributions to each song. I feel like this album has been Sehun's time to really shine for the first time (outside of EXO-SC). He has been taking voice lessons with Baekhyun's vocal coach (along with Chanyeol and Baekhyun ofc) and it has really paid off! He has never sounded this good (although I always think he sounded good, he was just lacking so much confidence in his voice) and I am so proud of how far he has come since the early days when he would get no lines or one word in a song, and that was it. He had a lisp and he was young so his voice was still in flux so they minimized how much he sang/rapped. So thank you for all the kind words about Sehun's voice, as a Sehun stan, that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!
Also, thanks for appreciating our rap duo! People love to say that EXO is strong in vocals and dancing, but weak with rapping. And I actually used to agree, at least with their earlier stuff. I don't think they had found their style yet. However, with every album, they keep getting better and better and I now think that EXO has one of the most unique and pleasing to listen to rap lines in Kpop. They have a signature sing/rap style that I just adore, and it's unique to them because there aren't a lot of rappers that can sing as well as Sehun and Chanyeol do. I also love how much of a single unit EXO's rap line is. If someone mentions one of them, I automatically think of the other one. It's gotten to the point where their rap breaks sometimes steal the whole song for me (and I used to hate raps in Kpop...)! Love, love, love your reactions to EXO. You are very exuberant, but it feels genuine, I don't think you are putting on a show or anything and I thoroughly enjoy how excited you get!
Dang, this got really long. One last thing. Hopefully you won't feel pressured by people in the comments. Most EXO-L's are pretty well behaved...but every fandom has a nasty, toxic element. Just do you, and take it at your own pace. I am happy with whatever you are willing to do whenever you are willing to do it!

kai (jongin) and xiumin (minseok) used to be part of the rap line in their earlier days, but now they lean more into vocals! that's why they're well rounded kings, aces of all trades

This is another no-skip album frim EXO but sadly, this cannot compete with AOTY award. But we are happy that this DFTF album was made just for us all EXO-Ls to convey their sincerest love for us. They feel what we are feeling right now coz of the long wait and them being in hiatus. EXO never disappoints us when it comes to QUALITY MUSIC and VOCALS.
