XOXO is the only one I hate but there's a few good tunes I enjoy. For me, Obsession, Tempo and Ex'Act can't be replaced. DFTF is a great special album for the fans too

This album was so special, and even though it was a last-minute release crammed between some members coming back, some members enlisting, and Lay's crazy schedules in China, the fact that they still took the time and effort to release such a beautiful and high quality mini for us breathed new life into us EXO-Ls. Also, the rhythm guitar plucking through the back track of paradise GETS ME every time, I love EXO's instrumentation, they never leave out a single detail. I'd like to recommend the Universe mini album for you to listen to next. It's another "special mini album" of theirs that they released in the winter of 2017. The winter minis usually get overlooked and listened to last, but I think Universe is one of their best albums, and it's in my top three for EXO. The vibes are actually pretty similar to this one, slower and calmer with a heavier emphasis on vocals while having complex instrumentation in the background. I also think Universe has their best lyrical content out of all of their albums. I'm usually not a stickler for lyrics, but Universe's lyrics are extra special and really stick out in their discography.
The moments when Lay duets with various others (often Baekhyun) during all these tracks brought tears to my eyes when I listened to it the first time; it had just been such a long time since we have been able to hear that. We're on the home stretch though, once Kai and Sehun have finished their service we will have another comeback and I know all the members work so hard to give us beautiful things all the time. And the way that Baekhyun managed to do this album, his Japanese album, the insane Bambi album, a special track with SuperM, a solo online concert and also film vlogs for to release for us during each months of his enlistment all during the first 4 or 5 months of 2021 makes me so emotional and endlessly grateful. EXO give us so much

Both Chanyeol and Baekhyun had enlisted by the time the album was released (it came out in June 2021). Chanyeol actually had his head shaved right after filming the MV cause filming was just days before he joined up. With no promotion at all this mini album still sold over a million copies.
DFTF definitely deserves more love and appreciation
This is a special gift for EXOLs. They filmed and recorded this and Baekhyun and Chanyeol literally left for military.
Runaway is also my favorite! My dream subunit is D.O. and Baekhyun, their voice blend so well together. This whole album was a gift to EXOL’s! 😊😊
