If he improves his shooting, he could become a 25/6/6 player with elite defense, and climb into the all star ranks. It's kinda funny how Bennett got picked ahead of him.
I don't think it was stupid, it's just that Bennett came into the season out of shape recovering from a torn ACL. The talent FOR SURE is there, just needed to get comfortable.
I love it.. thats that good old fashion hard work. you see a lot of trainers doing a lot of things that can't be applied to real games but this is just good old fashion hard work...
Easily the most underrated player in the NBA. He was never going to be able to showcase his talent in OKC behind Westbrook. Since being in INDY his scoring has gone up nearly 10 points a game.
He's one of the hardest workers the draft has seen for quite some time, this time last year he was an average ball player, just had good size. He's added to his overall athleticism and skill level in a relatively short amount of time to make sure he gets to where he wants to go
I'm a DIE HARD Hoosier fan! I've watched Oladipo grow into the player he is now! Magic fans you truly are lucky. Oladipo will be the hardest worker your franchise has seen in a long time. He will be an All Star within a few years!! Congrats! Oladipo is the MAN!!!!
As a college basketball coach myself, the sky is the limit for this kid. Good athlete, strong, plays with heart, takes care of the ball. Reminds me alot of a poor mans dwayne wade or monte ellis. And im only saying that because hes not in the NBA yet. He's got to be able to play some PG. If I was a GM, i would certaint take this kid. Hes gonna go to a team and fill up the stat sheet. Very good basketball player
From an IU fan's perspective. Victor is the real deal. He is a quality guy. He is an extremely hard worker who can be the face of a franchise. He will never embarrass the team on or off the court. His game? Awesome. He can take it over. You will love his Slashing and getting to the hoop. Scary thing is he has lots of upside and will only get better. He is gonna be an all star many times in my opinion.
I'm glad he stayed with Indiana. A friend that's real cool with one of the coaches at Dematha high school told me after his freshman year Victor was going to transfer to Rutgers. Mainly because he wasn't getting any playing time his freshman year. Instead he decided to stay, work on his game and he's improved each year.
I see why he went second after watching this. Looks very comfortable doing anything with a basketball. Any 6'4 SG who can do a standing dunk easily without running is an exceptional athlete.
I agree. Im sure he would be a good pick for whomever draft him. I can see him playing some 1 and def guarding the opposing one or 2. Got to love his motor and ball hawking on d
Boy these players are so good. The only thing holding him back is his handles but he has pretty good handles, as demonstrated. This just emphasizes how good these players are and how stifling the defense is.
Kind of guy you really root for whatever team he plays on. Awesome attitude and work ethic taught to him by an educated immigrant two parent professional family. Good young family man, good student who's graduating early with around a 3.3 GPA, good natural athlete who worked and willed himself into becoming a great athlete. Seriously, some of the hardest working people you'll ever find are first and second generation African immigrants. I know several and they are great people.
As an Iu fan and a Piston fan I would love it! Can be a lock down Defensive 2 at the next level with an ever evolving offensive game. With what there is in this draft and where we're most likely picking...hell yea I'll take Vic!
His athleticism provides great upside, I really wonder about his height providing problems at next level, but with a D-Wade comparison and his tenacious D I see a bright future for him. He is a prime example of someone that came in and took full advantage of the NBA type drills Crean runs in Indiana. With him coming in as a sole athlete and becoming a player I would bank that he will do it again and continue to grow on the next level.
VICTOR!!! Can't wait to buy his NBA jersey. He is a perfect example of how Coach Crean develops his players (if D-Wade not being a top 100 recruit wasn't enough evidence). GO HOOSIERS!!!
this kid is legit, incredible athleticism and endurance, good quickness, good handles, good shot. only concern is if he shoots like that in games, meaning he needs to actually jump when he shoots or he'll get blocked a lot.
Im a teenager and when I was a child I became an Orlando fan through Dwight, and of course I wished he stayed but it is what it is he left just like Shaquille in hopes of a ring and we can't blame him, now oladipo is coming and I'm happy and want to see him not just be the face of Orlando but of an all star, hope he gives the magic our first ring, I don't even live in Orlando but magic forever
It's always great to end on a good point. I am sure scouts love that he has the off the wall to himself pass down. He looks great though. I hope he has a great career.
Oscar was the primary ball handler and distributor on every team he was on in his early career/prime. I'd say that, in modern terms, makes him a point guard.
Well i agree with you to some degree, but i can also see the comparison. Hes a quick guard with explosion, Wade was one of the first guard in a long time to enter the league with that type of ability. This guy has potential to have that style of play if developed correctly
with that jumpshot, and confidence i can see this guy being the number 1 option in the clutch.
Who else plays basketball & felt like shit after watching him make it look so effortless?
Me
Lol I know I did
HaHa I did
I did, am like... "damn I had no chance."
like 4 real

Talk about a stupid move by the Cavs, many teams blew it by not trying to get Oladipo in the draft.
What do u mean improve his shooting did u not just see this hes amazing
Peter Jackson this is in practice fool, a game is WAAAAY different.

His athleticism, the way he can attack the bucket. He can handle the ball very well, and his Defense is a force to be reckoned with.
He's very unique, it's kind of hard to compare him to anyone with his abilities. He's a beast! Offensively & Defensively!
Coming from an Indiana Hoosier die hard.... you definitely just landed a STAR. Congrats and enjoy Vic, he's one of a kind..
I need to get in the gym!
I love it.. thats that good old fashion hard work. you see a lot of trainers doing a lot of things that can't be applied to real games but this is just good old fashion hard work...
Amazing athlete
Going to miss watching Victor at IU, but wish him the best in the NBA. He really has the potential to be a great all-around player.
Easily the most underrated player in the NBA. He was never going to be able to showcase his talent in OKC behind Westbrook. Since being in INDY his scoring has gone up nearly 10 points a game.
EVs Leo. Hey dumb fuck, may want to check yourself. He plays for the Miami Heat.
What a workout.. You can tell this guy is a hard worker and never satisfied. He will be all-star in the NBA for awhile.
welcome to okc, very good trade
Abdihakim Ali now the pacers
All star too
I am a huge hoosier fan and when oladipo came as a freshmen i never would have thought he would improve to this level. good luck in the nba victor
2:38 lol get out of my face
From an MSU fan, good luck Dipo! It was a pleasure watching you play against us the last couple years. You will be great.
Sooner or later, Every Knee Will Bow, Every Tongue Will Confess That Jesus Christ is Lord --- JESUS CHRIST IS LORD --- MARANATHA

WOAH. Easy, More like russell westbrook
This guy's workout video is the best out of all of the 2013 draft workout vids
Better handles than lebron
BHuynh L

I was really hoping to see him in PHX. Love that skill, maturity, and work ethic!
He's a beast! Crazy Athletic! Hopefully the Sixers get him
he's so god damn explosive/athletic!
very impressive ballhandling skills and icredible raw strenght from this dude...will be the best player of this draft no doubt
I was so lucky to be able to personally meet and talk to Victor before he went to the Magic. It was an honor to meet him and watch him play!!!!!
how can you hate this dude?just proves that a good work ethic is one part of being a good character and player.
man his style of play is plain but effective. he's like an old-school baller. Kid will go places!
I'm glad he stayed with Indiana. A friend that's real cool with one of the coaches at Dematha high school told me after his freshman year Victor was going to transfer to Rutgers. WoW...This Guy Is A Beast. His Motor & Skill set are Pretty Impressive.
I see why he went second after watching this. Looks very comfortable doing anything with a basketball. Any 6'4 SG who can do a standing dunk easily without running is an exceptional athlete.
gonna miss him at iu... the best part of vics game is not even on the video. he gets the fans loud and crazy!
Great to see him working on his game!
I agree. Im sure he would be a good pick for whomever draft him. I can see him playing some 1 and def guarding the opposing one or 2. Got to love his motor and ball hawking on d
what a BEAUTIFUL jump shot he has!!!
Crazy Work Ethic, Extremely Skilled In A Lot Of Areas, Freakishly Athletic, Going To Be A Stud In The League!
A year ago I could see the Tony Allen comparisons, but he's improved so much since then. If his handle and shot improve, sky is the limit.
Boy these players are so good. The only thing holding him back is his handles but he has pretty good handles, as demonstrated. This just emphasizes how good these players are and how stifling the defense is.
I love Draft workouts
Kind of guy you really root for whatever team he plays on. Awesome attitude and work ethic taught to him by an educated immigrant two parent professional family. Oladipo walks the walk and talks the talk. He has superstar written all over him
he is probably the best fit in the draft right now for the nba.
his mechanics are perfect
As an Iu fan and a Piston fan I would love it! Can be a lock down Defensive 2 at the next level with an ever evolving offensive game. With what there is in this draft and where we're most likely picking...hell yea I'll take Vic!
Damn that sounds nice! The ball when it cleanly glides through the hoop.
Potential off the charts!
His athleticism provides great upside, I really wonder about his height providing problems at next level, but with a D-Wade comparison and his tenacious D I see a bright future for him. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!!
VICTOR!!! Can't wait to buy his NBA jersey. He is a perfect example of how Coach Crean develops his players (if D-Wade not being a top 100 recruit wasn't enough evidence). GO HOOSIERS!!!
DANG!!! this dude has the whole package i hope he does great things in the Nba
Would not be suprised if he ends up being the best player outta this draft. straight winner out there.
Excited to see what this guy can do in the NBA...
hard hard worker. going to be a star in the league
finally something to look forward to at the magic games
He's got a lovely shooting motion.
Oh I'm gonna miss Oladipo this year, but I'll be rooting for whatever team picks him up!
Victor is a PRIME example of the player development at IU. GO HOOSIERS!!!
i don't know about anyone else, but i think the way he plays is almost beautiful, it's intense and athletic as hell
this kid is legit, incredible athleticism and endurance, good quickness, good handles, good shot. only concern is if he shoots like that in games, meaning he needs to actually jump when he shoots or he'll get blocked a lot.
The truth right here, crazy athleticism
Thats hard work paying off right there.
this guy will have a great future in NBA!
Extremely talented
He has so much leaping power at first i thought this guy was either a forward or center but hes only 6'4 ! His dunks are crazy!!
Damn these work outs are intense
He's the Kenneth Faried of the SG position, never stops working.
They were not lying about that work ethic. DAMN
Im a teenager and when I was a child I became an Orlando fan through Dwight, and of course I wished he stayed but it is what it is he left just like Shaquille in hopes of a ring and we can't blame him, now oladipo is coming and I'm happy and want to see him not just be the face of Orlando but of an all star, hope he gives the magic our first ring, I don't even live in Orlando but magic forever
when this guy wakes up in the morning, he dont even need coffee or red bull. He is the beast already.
His shooting form looks so nice
Can't wait to see him play in the NBA
looks like a solid candidate. good luck
It's always great to end on a good point. I am sure scouts love that he has the off the wall to himself pass down.
He looks great though. I hope he has a great career.

Wow really talented. I think he's going places.
He will be a beast
Man that boy gone be a beast!!
speechless that was impressive.
Oildipo my man love to see him in allstar game
He is lookin nice in these preseason games
Don't sleep on this guy!! he's not all hype like most of these players in the draft, sick work ethic and bounce, easy lottery pick!
He is my favorite college ball player he will have a lot of success in the NBA
That's right and Biyombo and MKG are extremely good defensively. Charlotte could be a playoff contender team in some years. Go Bulls !
He's going to be a monster.
He can dunk, he can Shoot, he can ball. He's are going to be a star :)
I just became a fan. He looks solid!
proud to say this is my cousin. The sky is the limit!!
Victor!!! my nigga make the rim not even look 10 ft so athletic. Hes gonna be a beast in the league
Gotta good feeling bout this young man
this guy is my favorite player in this draft
Man it is my dream to play like Victor and I go 100 percent everyday inn basketball tryin to work my way up!!
Well i agree with you to some degree, but i can also see the comparison. Hes a quick guard with explosion, Wade was one of the first guard in a long time to enter the league with that type of ability. This guy has potential to have that style of play if developed correctly
He is going to be great
Victor might be the only reason I'd watch NBA basketball again
This a great draft class.
