Now if you could only help me convince my apartment management office to install drains like this across our rented garages, my snow and rain runoff problem would be solved!
How much does something like this cost? We have a similar issues (not extensive) where water is pooling in the front of the garage during heavy storms. Thx
@RayFury after I did more research, it seems it depends on the system and how much concrete is required to lock the channel in place. There are some slick ones that have a very small opening for the water and a larger diameter tube under surface, and require a much narrower install channel. Then some systems are basically the same width at opening as they are at bottom and in order to secure the upper portion in place they need a lot more fresh concrete on the sides
Yes it is a small area and poured quite thick. Control joints are not required for this application. The trench drain actually acts like a long control joint as well.
Good choice, especially to the type of width 100mm, Aco is with the advantage on prices. Other brands may offer competitive prices on the large types. Do you mind to represent other brands like the products made in China? We're China supplier offer the competitive products. My Whatsapp is +86-13889635947. I had no idea something like this existed. Really nice work.
Thank you Darrin!
The water doesn't discharge out?

Assuming the water is entering at the front of the garage why not run a trench drainage system in front of the doors?
Might be coming off cars during winter. I get a ton of water in mine just from that, worse when they are covered in slush and stuff.

so when the basin fills up? u have some come out to pump the crap out? why not connect the drain to a waste pipe?
How much to do a two and a half wide exsisting car garage?
What if the floor has already been epoxied? Can this be done and then repair epoxy or does everything have to be removed first?
Yes it still can be done. The epoxy can be repaired after the new concrete has cured up and can be blended into the old product.
How come this was cut so wide? Could you not cut the drain in just a few inches wider, or was this to provide more sloping toward the grate drain?
I thought the same, at first I was like, well i guess they're going to build a nice slope..... but at the end it seems at level ???

Are you not worried about cold joints?? Because thats what your placing against.

Cost?
Is this the drain-line 100 or 150? looking for specs to establish what kind of traffic the system can handle. Thanks in advance!
drain line k100 is in the video, commercial heavy grade use. It all depends on the grates you use as well.
Hi,dear friend, which company's products do you represent? NDS or anyother brand? Thank you.
ACO is the trench drain system used in this video
