Metal Detecting on Limited Ground Yields Good Old Made In USA Silver

Today I decide to take a look at a place in the valley that out on a hike we saw an old fieldstone fireplace, a dam and a partial fieldstone foundation a try metal detecting The snow was deep and kept me limited as to where I could swing. I was out for a couple hours and managed to eke out a piece of silver.

Crimped end bullets are blanks. Likely the result of some Armed Forces training at some point in the past. Great silver haul!
