Worth the wait a million times over. I always trust a solid band like HK to take their time to develop and transform their sound to a new album so each album can stand out on their own. Quality over quantity for sure. Never disappoints. Get that Grammy, you guys deserve it.

Oh my gosh, you guys are just gonna slip the most beautiful part of the song right at the end there, leaves me wanting more lol, this is by far my favorite Hiatus album already. Can't wait until my vinyl comes in
HK are their own genre and no one and I mean no one can ever imitate them. They have one of the best keyboardists, drummers and bass players in the game, each one in their own right could lead a band, but no, they had to go out and also grab the sonically mercurial and vast Nai Palm, whose own music is its own genre. With her as the leader and writing most of the songs, they are on some other planet, heck they are from a different dimension - and yet they are just a band from hometown Melbourne Australia, who would of thunk it? They just different. The artistry, the tone, the melodic phrasing, the crazy time signatures. Too intricate, too complex, too multi layered, too talented, too tenacious, too much. Lewis Taylor was my favourite artist, but these guys have taken that throne easily.

I found “HC” though a Doja Cat cover of “Red Room”. But the emotion in the song, notes and melodies of this and “Stone or Lavender” brings me to tears each time I hear them (and they are stuck on repeat). EXCELLENT JOB!!!!! You like my favorite group of all time (The Cocteau Twins) brought me to tears is just the vocal sonicsphere created with the vocals accompanying instrumentals placed to complement each other. I know you have a newer album out and I have listened to it but I am drawn back to this album…….THANK YOU FOR YOUR ARTISTRY
