I understand your review deeply and is highly relatable but the persepective that changed the book from rating 2/10 to 8/10 was seeing it through a spiritual medium and move on. Applying it logically like atomic habits, subtle art of not giving a F etc. makes it worse. It’s like while meditating, while playing your favourite sports, reading a phenomenal book and probably working at your dream job. It’s because of inspiration not desperation. That’s how the author said, that’s why painter paints and dancer dances and thanks to internet they don’t have to worry financially. Usually our daily life consists of waking up, freshen up, make breakfast and tiffin, eat, dress up, pack up and leave, work 7-9 hours come back freshen up, eat dinner, lit a cigarette, read and sleep. Most of them are driven out of desperation. I understand how the implementation part is very less in this material driven world. But the days where we relax, a vacation or a sunday, that’s where it helps mostly. Instead of suffering through tomorrow’s clint meetings, going through the feeling, “shit yrr kl fr monday, fr kaam shuru”, live in present driven by inspiration. How often do we ruin our present holiday due to tomorrow’s suffering. The book is the about the success ladder instead the happiness ladder. Great channel btw, keep up the good work. Please make your videos a bit longer. It would be better of you to right all the points to be said. Review the book, what it says, what’s the story, learning, walkthrough it, criticise it and reason it as well. Somethings are not for us but it is for someone else so its better to help them have the cake. ❤
Just now after reading your comment I realised that it’s my fault that I could not explain it better About the internal suffering, it was the first point made by the author in the book which ticked me off and the reason is, your job is an internal suffering is a correct statement for those who have some dreams to follow other than being in that job that only helps them pay their bills. For others it’s not an internal suffering as that’s what they want to do so the suffering can be, in a lot of cases, because of external factors which is what I mentioned in the video. I said that because that’s what my experience has been like. I have been in a job where I found myself going back home feeling not being appreciated for most of the work that I did. I was told that I am an important resource but it never showed in any considerations from their side. Now I know it’s still something that you can allow not to bother you, but if you’re someone who is being berated then I think it’s impossible for that person not be bothered by it. And that’s exactly what ticked me off. However I completely agree with what you said as it all depend upon what phase you’re in your life, also sometimes what you’re looking for can be found in a book that others don’t like, you like it and thats completely fine because whatever helps that person, don’t need any reason for that. Thank you for pointing out what I missed out in the video
@@RaiVarsha i understand that and i appreciate the part that even after such a hectic job you find time to read, analyze and in fact share your experience through youtube. Keep doing it. All the best to you for the life ahead. ☺️✌️
Again a great video but how about a bookshelf tour video ???
Been a long time , will make another soon
Reading a book in a single sitting and reviewing it actually is not the proper way. It takes time to understand a book. Its not a movie.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong in reading a book in one go, and nowhere I have said I made this video right after finishing the book
