I find this IKEA-style delivery crazy. But it seems to work (Brno assembled their EVO2, and so far so good). I am wondering about economy of an assembly of such a small series of trams (and yes, I am aware of places like Olomouc who like to order a single tram…j
Please make an update vid on daugavpils trams! And soon riga will have rebuilt its 7th and 5th tram lines, 1st tram line has reconstructed few stops aswell
It's not manufactured in Daugavpils. Just another scheme for getting money from EU funds. Trams come from the Czech Republic with a few minor parts missing and DLRR attaches their own badge.
How would you personally compare the comfort of these trams to another tram types operated in Daugavpils? Is there any obvious improvement compared to the Russian made City Stars?
Personally, from all the trams that are used in Daugavpils, I like these ones better (I like the interior and exterior as well). They are quiet if you compare them with City Star trams (especially with the awkward noise that they had initially during acceleration or braking - th-cam.com/video/CoXI4ZpU_s4/w-d-xo.html ). We will see how it goes further. Very often City Star trams have problems with air conditioners (which may simply be out of service).
Well, this is true. To be able to carry larger amount of people, you actually need trams with higher capacity. But tram lines are not so crowded, and just several high capacity are enough (at least for now).
Happy to see modern czech trams outside czechia. I hope they serve Daugavpils well!
I think they will :)
Also, in general, Daugavpils keeps a good care of the rolling stock, so they will be looked after.

@@Чех-б2ю we also assembled 2 SOR TNS 12 trolleybuses
Daugavpils and Liepaja are on my bucket list.
Time to build more, and also for other cities!
We'll see how it goes :)

В последние годы очень активно обновляют инфраструктуру.

Transport w Daugavpilsie podoba mi się. Latem przyjadę.
the city looks neat n clean ... 😊
Ideales para ciudades pequeñas y zonas de poca densidad.
And to think the Soviets started this tram system. It's so fixed up now 🤤

I like the design of these trams, but these trams are not for a large number of people.

What is the capacity of these trams?
I have seen the following figures in the media: total capacity of 112 passengers, which includes 32 seats.
@@Aviationvlad That's a very small tram
Russian broad-gauge trackage of 1,524 mm (5 ft)
Daugavpils would be such a good city, but it's 88% Russian.
People are people, just deal with it. Also important to mind your own business first.
How is that making a good or a bad city? In addition it's far less Russian in daugavpils from what you stated. Your percentage is not accurate
88%?
Did you just invent that number?
It's actually below 50%
@@legouniverse8976 the thing is, "belarussians", "ukrainians", don't exist. It's all just Russians. I should have used "Russian speaking"
It's a good city, despite stupid nationalists like you trying to give it a bad name.
Да уж с устькатавским никак
Да уж, устькатавские трамваи намного приличней.
Да уж , никак сравнивать..... Устькатавские громыхайла, и с их танковыми тележками
Protams ka okupantam patiks okupantu gatavoti tramvaji
