@@UnderThreeAcres We moved to an area that doesn't have any "large" cities nearby. We are surrounded by many small towns and a few small cities. We've only found one decent nursery near us but it's just a pop-up nursery in a shopping center parking lot. We may just opt to start ordering like you have as it's hard to spend the gas prices to travel far to a new place only to find out they don't have what we are looking for. We had fun watching your haul!

We call Physalis "Jack-in-the-Pulpit". When I was little, my next door neighbour was a Baptist minister. One year he gave me a teacup and saucer with "Jack-in-the-Pulpit" on it. He said he hoped it reminded me of him, a minister in the pulpit! Every time I see them I think of him. I didn't know you could consume them.

That’s a sweet story. We tried them for the first time a couple of years ago and haven’t had them since.
