Yeah, the only benefit to creep in ZvZ is the tumors provide vision. Otherwise it's as you say... a boost for your enemy as well as yourself.
But it also gives you vision

Zerg are actually really tidy creatures when facing a lack of an opposing race -- they Windex that creep away.
Overlords exist in all matchups, but Zerg units are least likely to shoot up so Overlords give you safer vision in ZvZ than other matchups. So yeah, double reason why creep is less necessary in ZvZ. You want enough to let your queens go between your bases, but that's all.
I couldn't agree more, the cool move is cool but to add in the creep spread, your queen positioning, your upgrades, your scouting, your larva injects, your supply management, and pull it all off in a RTS with another pro probing for weak spots.... incredible
As a bronze league ladder hero myself I can confirm 100% that any greeting from your opponent almost certainly means cheese

Reynor made Serral a better Zerg player, he's the only one made Serral evolve his game. We should all thank Reynor for the man that Serral is now, lol.

Serral saw the tournament match of Harstem cannon rushing Reynor and thought "hey, let me try that"
Serral is the final boss of Starcraft 2.
Not showing emotions is hard coded into Finnish DNA. As a team mate Raynor probably knows, that only way to shake Serral's comfort zone is to ask how are you or throw a random "buddy" in the conversation.

Spot on about the overanalyzing. I love when Stracraft streamers draw wild conclusions from meaningless data: "I saw he took the second gas but he only has two Probes on it. He has to be rushing Carriers." Two minutes later: "No, wait, its a normal Stalker opening."
For me, i love seeing the current serral then 2018 serral, it seem the nerf and oppennent studying him make him more refined in playing or more matured, love this, is the peak serral, hope his come back from military service next year

yeeeeaaaahh well... i think when it comes to pure exicution, yes he is clinically clean. But he isn't dark. i feel like yes, dark is straight up worse mechanically by like 1 1/2 steps. but darks mind is a step ahead.

Hey Lowko, I just watched your SC 2 play through and had to come comment that your 'Lowko Blindness' is a massive source of anxiety during those videos even if you don't end up on missing something. I was constantly worried you where going to miss something every time i noticed something lol. I think it kinda made the videos more fun to watch with the constant threat of Lowko Blindness waiting in the darkness ready to strike lol.

Serral is a monster! Reynor and Serral are my all time favorits. To see them play and actually not seeing Reynor winning suprises me, especially with the 0 - 3. This is insane. If Serral can keep this up he really is unbeatable. People need to stop balancing the game around serral xD. He will stay the best SC2 player of all time for sure
That creep highway thing was so cool!
That last game was just raw skill. Destroying an entire gold base with slow lings and 3 banes the second after it gets fully saturated.
I really enjoy the ZvZ, PvP, and TvT matches as well. I understand they don't do as well on your channel, but it's such a shame to see only 66% of the matchup types that are available.

LowKo, winning is thinking up the weakness of the opponent and using it. As a caster I see you do both analyzing a player's strength ... and 'mistakes'. That is all it takes.

the AI uses contamination from the Overseer all the time, it annoys the heck out of me, when they stop my production, lol.

ZvZ may be annoying at tournaments but i always gamble on a 2 base roach timing which makes it be over fast and honestly not a bad tactic up until platinum. Thx for that build pig

Honest question as someone who doesn't play the game. Is microbial shroud used more than contaminate in lower elos? I only watch pro games and I believe I see contaminate more often.
Well microbial shroud was used quite a bit like 2 patches ago? I think what Lowko was saying was more contaminate over all the years of SC2 is less used, while microbial shroud had times when it was useful. So this year we might see 2 or 3 games with contaminate, but a couple years ago we saw Shroud used 10 times in a ZvP game.
if 2 enemy zerg players connect their creep do they both gain vision from each others creep?
It is the creep tumour that provides the vision, not actually the creep.

Mirror matches are boring. Zvz, at least, is a decisive match. Tvt and pvp can drag on forever. Harstem had a good pvp on ladder vs showtime but 15 minutes into the game my eyes were glazing over.
